Love it.. just finished one myself , and I’ve also got it booked in for a mechanic to look at it, think it’s the mixture need sorting on mine. Great job buddy, looks really nice👍🏻
Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed and magnificent build video. You have given me the inspiration and confidence to continue and complete my project build. I have a quick question, what is the paint finish on the stock frame? Is it a satin black, gloss black or high gloss?
It hasn't failed yet :-) I asked my mechanic about the sideways play, the pin it turns on would have to be drilled out and a new one will have to be welded in, since it's part of the frame and not a bolt-on part. I ordered a work stand to put under the engine block during storage at home, that way it'll always stand upright and safe.
Looks great! What tire size of the Heidenau do you run on the back? Couldn‘t quite tell from the video but I think I read 130/80 18? If so does it have enough clearance to the swingarm?
Hey man! How can i get in contact with you. I have a couple of questions when it comes to the electrical parts your doing. (Just bought my self an BMW R80, and just doing some research at this time. Best regards Felix

High gloss and two layers of clear varnish with light sanding in between
As far as I know the stock paint is called Satin Gloss.
Do you trust that side stand? Mine is very questionable

You read it right! Enough clearance but not enough to go for a 140
