    Cool video Bro. That was some better than average conditions for Tug Hill. Not sure why homeboy was trippin'. Sometimes the entire place is like the trail you hated or worse.

      It was pretty nice in most parts. I think it was because we kept going down that bumpy trail and normally we would have turned back and go a different way but Dave was leading so we had to follow him. I also think it wouldn't have been as bad if he had brought his 2020 xrs 850 instead of he 2014 x package. I think the 2014 needed a shock rebuild which could have made it feel worse. He ended up rebuilding those shocks before the next season. Thanks for watching.

    Hilarious when you went through the Montague parking lot I saw my trailer 😂😂 Wasn't bad riding I always get out at the crack of Dawn while everyone else is dealing with there hangover! I usually have close to 100 miles before 12:30AM👍👍

      Nice! Yeah, we never drink and ride or the night before a ride. We also try to leave as early as possible. Tug is about two and a half hours of driving for us. Thanks for watching.

    Gary should try to sit down and ride

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  2 года назад

      He rides the way he rides. Everyone tells him to sit down but he has the endurance to do it. I'm guessing it's from back when the xrs sleds were very stiff and more comfortable to ride standing up.

    Around 20 minute mark, that was me and my buddies, were all suppose to go together but plans changed, still ran into each other! Pretty cool, nice seeing you guys out, ride on!

    Hey Paiste.. Great last video. Couple of trail tips.. When you came to the first intersection where you said if you go right it takes you to little John and straight takes you to Tughill. The trail straight just takes you to the same trail to go through little John, it just cuts out the road riding you have to do if you would have turned right. Secondly, where you went up and caught up to Dave @10:21 If you would have went straight instead of turning left (That beat up trail) the trails been much better straight this season than turning left because its a seasonal road and a lot more field riding. Take Care 🤙🏼

      @@Paisteboy I hear ya. Because we got our sleds so late in the season we're already looking forward to the next season more than usual. 😁 I picked up my new sled and trailer the same day.. I'm waiting for nicer weather so I can do a walk around for the sled and trailer.

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  2 года назад +1

      Nice! Congrats on the new sled and trailer. I was watching your February 27th ride today at work during lunch. Looks like we rode a lot of the same trails.

      @@Paisteboy Yes Sir..👍🏼 I rode out of the Forest quite a lot this season because no matter where you ride to, the trails coming back to the truck are always smooth. 🤫 I am way behind on posting videos from most of February and they are all out of Winona.

    Hey man do you have a studded track? I’ll be getting an 850 soon and I’m just wondering if you get a lot of traction issues without studs

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  2 года назад

      No. I don't have a studded track. I have the iceripper track so it grips a bit more than nothing at all but since I've never had a studded track I can't say either way. I am fine with the traction that I currently get.

    • @Paisteboy

      Yeah. He really hates the long drives to get to the location especially if we're not staying overnight. He really never complains so him being quiet is really when you know he isn't happy. The rest of us had a blast just because we all really wanted to ride that day.

    Stay riding tug hill, old forge is awful

    • @Paisteboy
      @Paisteboy  2 года назад

      We'll be mixing it up riding wherever the snow is better. Even local as long as we have snow. I like Tug but we've never stayed there overnight like we do most of the time in Old Forge. Maybe it will be something to consider this coming season. Thanks for watching Mike.

    Another fantastic day of watching you guys ride😆 just wondering what you think the 2023 gen 5 Ski-Doo and do you wish you waited to get a new sled. I snow checked a 2020 Polaris 137 850 xc and the next year they came out with the matryx I love my sled but man the matryx is a nice machine

      Thanks R Miller! I like the new gen 5 but I don't regret getting my sled for one second. I can't wait to ride it again next season.
      Congrats on your new sled order.
