I like this conversation. I cleared out my house to become minimal because I have two are genetic illnesses that are debilitating. It took 6 months but totally worth it. I also clean on the Fly Lady system modified. If I am down for months at a time the house only gets lightly dirty. It just happened because I had shingles for over two months. I am still recovering. I also keep an agenda. If I can’t do something on the list, I put pretty Washi tape over the task. That way it’s not “glaring” at me. Sometimes I continue it for the next day, sometimes I let it go.

I love her kids' advice, as well as cleaning. All my kids have added and scheduled are huge for them and almost impossible for me haha. We also use a thing called the hour system if they do the right thing they get and hr each hr equals a ticket. At the end of the week, we total up the hrs, and they get those tickets, and the tickets equal a prize from the prize box. We get those items from 5 below each age to get an age fitting prize.

Could you produce a written list of all these spoon saving measures? Brain fog makes it hard to retain the information in spoken format. Just a thought. Thank you!
