I really wanted one but the noise!!! I know you can block it out with the app but anyone is disturbed. Works really well though, amazing bit of gear Sandy
Fantastic bit of kit, the technology in such a small thing is staggering. I’ve used the tracking function on my mini 3 in the past, but the simplicity of this thing is very attractive.
That looks like it will be a real asset to your filming Sandy. Amazing technology, for the masses is available now. You can get some really interesting shots with that drones functions and it is very compact.
Excellent video Sandy!! Enjoyed this, glad to see you and your beautiful dogs out and about!! That drone is certainly a game changer, very cool… !! Footage coming in clear on this side of the pond 👍
Sandy you did this device so much justice they should have gave you another one for a give away.. Excellent Review especially dealing with the dogs and filming with the go pro all at the same time.. and you showed crashes .. they should've gave you 3....... Well done you 😉👍🏻
You're in pretty good shape, I'm happy to see you wearing the helmet on the bicycle. We had a weather man here in SW Florida fall off his bicycle, hit his head on the curb, died shortly after. Young guy in good shape. Hey, shit happens. You stay safe happy holidays.
Seeing you wearing that old hoodie made me go look for mine. Looks an interesting bit of kit, especially being so small and packable. thanks for sharing
A great video, thanks. I've actually bought one for myself, but haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet, so your educational will certainly make the first flight much less of a hassle. Cheers 👋
Hi, sorry, not yet. I've seen a few videos from other vlogers and they are getting great results, so I'm looking forward to taking mine away on a few trips to record our days out and marry that to one of the simple editing apps that are available now. I think its going to be fun.@@MarriedToTheKGB
I finally gave in and bought a drone Sandy...never thought I'd get one at 58. Have bought the Potensic Atom and am pretty sure the 4k camera on its 3 axis gimbal will get some good photos and video of the changing of the colours next autumn. Now to learn how to fly the darn thing 😂
That would appear to be a great addition to the filming equipment for making videos. I am pretty certain that you will find this very useful to film some of your outdoors adventures Sandy. It would probably do just fine out in the clearings in the deepest woodland areas even. Thanks for showing this very interesting piece of technology and giving us your thoughts Sandy. I am looking forward to your next video my friend (hot tent camping I believe you said?)
A good piece of kit to have in the armoury Sandy. Some of the sequences you film such as approaching a gate, opening the gate and then moving away from the gate, would seem to be a good application for the drone and a time saving for you. 😀
Hi Sandy. What a great review, I’m sure the company will be very pleased👍. You demonstrated how basically anyone can use this drone. Lovely to see you walking the “girls”. I watched your Hot Tent camping video before this one and thought what excellent drone footage you had not knowing that you had a new toy.😄. Take care, hugs for your doggies, pat on the back for you lol 💕💕. Judy🇨🇦
Good honest review Sandy. I watched another review and I thought they said it did have obstacle avoidance but maybe it just gave the impression of that. I agree the tech is off the scale these days. A bit scary! For me as just a home movie maker, it's too rich in price but if I had an active channel like yours, I would save my pennies for one for sure.
That did blow my mind in regards to what it is capable of bro. I guess the next thing out will be a tiny drone you can have a conversation with. Awesome video too. Safe travels. Ken.
Great through review Sandy, though not sure about the noise. A bit pricey but you get a lot of tech for your dosh. Looking forward to some great footage in future vids 👍
It would seem these drones are becoming better & better. I think it will allow you to get a great picture without the risk of a more expensive being lost or damaged. Very nice indeed Sandy. You think a few years back we had nothing like so readily available. Think your may like one for his channel 👍
Hi Andy, It won't replace my DJI Mini2 but it can do some things better like follow me and dolly track, really impressive and a great asset for RUclipsrs
I’ve seen a few of these now Sandy , deffo easier to operate than my mini dji pro . As you said maybe not the best footage but ok for what we need it for . Wonder if they will send me one to review 😜 and clearly crashable as the props are well protected 👍
The camera is OK Dave and if you can do some in post editing you can saturate the colours etc but it is a very tiny camera so there will be compromises. Generally I really like it and will use it quite a bit. It is so easy to use
Carmen the bigger dog has been camping already a couple of times but this time of year (shooting season) the land owner would rather the dogs didn't accompany me
What a fantastic gadget drone, you could put some colourful transfers on which would not weigh much so you can find it? Or orange or yellow nail polish
A nice piece of thech there Sandy. This should allow you to eliminate some of the time consuming set ups you needed to make. I would add some hearing protection for close use.
How about putting some reflective 3M tape on the outer edges and top and bottom. Then if it does crash, with a torch, you might find it quicker. I like the protected blades, as I’ve seen a few YTers drones with broken blades when they hit trees and break the expensive blades.
Looks like a neat bit of kit. Some masking tape and a tin of brightly coloured spray paint around the rotor cage should help make it more visible. Not sure a like the high pitched whine of it though. But quite impressive and easy to use.
You can't get away from the higher pitched whine, it's just physics, those small props have to spin fast but it is quiet, the gopro camera makes it sound louder than it actually is, from a few feet away it is almost inaudible
Amazing bit of tech. Definitely needs a puff of fluorescent pink or yellow paint on it! Impressed to see the dogs ignoring it (o: What long way we’ve come from the first drones that you built. Crikey.
It's ok for filming me on the Himalayan Martyn as it can do 15mph :) No probs keeping up with me. I once rode up Hardknott pass and I think thats about as fast as I went in places
Interesting little Gadget Sandy, I'd like to see more ham radio content, and also perhaps you'd get a ham radio outlet sponsorship? New radio perhaps or morse key? Food for thought, But i'd really like to see more ham radio content. 73 de G4UNB
Hi Sandy. I had seen this gizmo a while and as really interested in your review. Just for personal use, I think it looks ideal for me. Your review has settled it, so I have ordered one. Hoverair were sensible to send you one, for 👍!

Yes the Himalayan does suit me better but if I had to buy the new Himalayan it would me having to use finance and thats something I don't want to do any more. The new bike is a real fine machine by the looks of it
Hi Sandy, its amazing how drones have developed. I have been looking at reviews and I am tempted to get one, as it would be great do some videos when cycling . You certainly put it through it’s paces, I can see you using it often seeing how easy it is to use. The fact that you can use your phone for the audio would be a great help. New rules for drones 2023 from the CAA you might want to have a read up, as being just registered is not enough now for the sub 250 gram drones.

Wow....loud innit or are drones that loud?...scary for the bunnies etc etc.

It's not loud it was just that the camera mic was 2 ft away from it. You can barely hear it at 20 ft away
