Everyone in my class including my teacher says “OMG your writing is beautiful” and I gotta admit it’s kinda good but I can’t do calligraphy or write straight
I really wanna start a kpop journal but I don't have any photo cards update: soo I started my first kpop journal without photocards recently, and I found out that photocards aren't that important! the journal is now a very important thing to me because I can write and write my feeling down on this book about something I love, knowing I won't get judged. I'm also saving money to print out some photocards, ayayay im so happy :) -it's also kinda weird how creativity suddenly hits your brain out of nowhere lmao
most people don't use "real" photocards (that come with albums) in their journals. you can use printed out pictures or lomo cards that come in large packs (for around a couple of dollars)
@@milkyboos I don't have a printer at home and there's no way my mom would let me go to the library and print out like 50+ pics. She thinks it's just a waste of money lmao nsnd
You don't really need photos to journal but if you really want photos, save up and use your own money to get them printed. Your parents will less likely be against it since it's your money.
Your whole life is just so cute and aesthetically pleasing. I wish I could have a K-pop journal like that, but I don't even know what I'd put in it. Plus I have terrible handwriting, so that wouldn't help at all.
I too have really bad handwriting (some kids in my school get computers as their handwriting may be illegible and I was even considered for it I'm not kidding) yet I didn't let it stop me from starting a kpop journal as I enjoy journaling and being creative. Sometimes you feel like your handwriting may 'ruin' your spread however you need to remember that the most important thing is that you have fun!
In my kpop journal I basically write the kpop idol's profiles and facts about each group I stan. Putting a few pictures I printed out or stickers from albums I bought. ^^
i have a grid in my journal so i just write along those lines, but if u need to write straight and don't have a grid/lines maybe try drawing in lines with a ruler and erasing them after?
If your journals paper is a bit see through like printer paper you can make yourself a writing board or buy one! I made myself by printing a grid paper template and glued it on a piece of cardboard to make it more long lasting. If you've a laminatir you can laminate it without glueing the grid print on cardboard. I tried both and they serve their purpose And when you write you'll just put your writing board under the page you'll be writing on Hope this helps a bit 🤗
Your calligraphy is so nice! Also this was such a relaxing video to watch~ I just started my own kpop journal this year, I just do like album reviews of new girl group comebacks. It's fun and relaxing and also helps me to choose what albums I actually enjoyed and want to get

Do you think you have any tips for perfectionists? I tend to rip pages all the time so it’s rlly hard and I love journaling but being a perfectionist get in the way because of a little flaw.
hm i typically glue pages together if i really don't like something instead of ripping it out! or i cover up the parts i don't like with photos/kraft paper! it's definitely something you just have to push yourself to move away from tho :(
I'm like that too, I would advise planning out everything with pencil trying out your ideas on paper, then you just go over the finished idea. It takes more time but it's a little easier for me like this

It's been a year since I started my kpop journal and I too didn't know what to write about. But trust me after a month or so I had plenty of things just because a lot happened in the kpop community. 😊♥️ So don't be afraid to experiment or try out new things to find your style. My regular spreads that can help with starting: - Dear bias... And wrecker... (Amazing way to appreciate all your faves) - comeback pages - Best songs of the year, month... - Fav song lyrics - life updates - Watched (for my fellow kdrama addicts) Hope it helped to someone. ♥️ Also don't be afraid to start because you're not confident enough or something like that. The progress will come and it's amazing to look back at how you started. ✌️
I'm starting a kpop journal (sort of.) I have autism so I get hyper fixated on certain things/subjects. (One of those interest are bts.) But the journal will be about all my hyperfixations and I'm super excited to start, I already have the book bought so it's just a case of getting round to it. Your penmanship is absolutely gorgeous! I've always wanted to do a bullet journal and have been thinking about k-pop journaling or some kind of general fandom journaling, but I always get so caught up in thinking about not making it ugly and wasting money on materials to do it. I don't mind my handwriting, but I work hard at trying to improve it and practice doing different fonts. Hopefully, I get to the point where I trust myself to make a pretty journal.

Tip from me (idk if this is helpful) : For me, I plan it as early as possible due to my school get in the way so if your planning to make a kpop journal maybe plan it ahead? Like the theme or the layout and another tip use a pencil so whenever you make a mistake you can erase it and you can outline it after ward with pen but with calligraphy sadly you just have to practice cause that's what I did. Hope this helped!

same, when i mess up i cover it with card stock or some paper then glue a memo sheet or something so i can write on it instead

Well, for this kind of problem, I just use ring binder, you can change the pages or arrange it easily

It looks like a regular card holder/binder. If you can't get it in Muji, you can find them in regular school/office supply stores.

One thing I do since my printer doesn’t work is I draw,use stickers,use labels,use glitter to make it look good and not empty.
