They are missing a whole lot of people on that flight deck. Plus, the stupid video takes off backwards. No matter what you are flying, even a C-130 on (I believe) the Forestall which deck launched (no cat - C-130 wouldn't take the stress) went off after a full deck run. We would on occasion to a deck run launch with the S-2E, starting behind the island (Essex class carriers) start up the angle and then make a small turn and go off the axial. BTW - that's what that strange line seen on the Essex class carriers was for. It got us around the island with our 72' wing span.

You literally open the door and climb into it and it's full of gauges and touch screen tablets and a curved screen OLED, and hundreds of things that make it look and feel like a cockpit for realism.

It's a simulator. Any fool knows you need at least 13 knots coming over the bow to launch aircraft, that's using the cat.
