As a South Korean, your video was very interesting and more accurate than I expected! It must have been hard work to summarize a long history into a 1-hour video. Still, there are some points that are different from what I know. First, I believe the "new capital" city is regarding Sejong city, which is right above Daejeon. It was at first planned to replace the capital, but after some trials it was said that changing the capital from Seoul to Sejong is against the constitution (very long story). So basically there is no plan of changing the capital in South Korea for now. Second, Goguryeo, were descendents of Buyeo, rather than Gojoseon. I do not know very well about history of this era, but from what I learned, Baekje and Shilla were at first a member of an ancient kingdom group/union called Mahan and Jinhan, and then conquered other small countries to make up a larger kingdom. Third, the capitals of the three kingdoms are not accurate. The capital of Baekje was Seoul (or at that time, Wirye) for a long time, before moving to Ungjin (now Gongju), and then to Sabi (now Buyeo). The capital of Shilla was Gyeongju, not Busan. Fourth, South Koreans, espescially young South Koreans don't really think of unification as an ultimate goal. More and more Koreans are starting to think that unification will bring negative effects to Korea, mostly in the economy. People rather think that declaration of the end of the war is a more realistic, likelier way of achieving peace, with the two Koreas recognizing each other as seperate countries.
Thank you so much for this! I didn't see any sources about how the new capital had been scrapped. And I had read a lot of different sources that the old capital of Silla was Busan and Gyeongju, which is just not possible, so I figured that the capital of Unified Silla was definitely Gyeongju. But thank you for clearing this all up! I always appreciate corrections, especially from people from the countries I talk about!
I really love history and geography or just educational stuff in general asmr but usually all of the ppl who do those those kinds of vids are guys and it might be just me but I don’t really like men’s voice bc there deep and I prefer soft voices for asmr and when I found your Chanel I became obsessed I love your Chanel so much!!!
Love your video quality ! Love to see history or educational asmr that isn't over produced, too quiet or too many wet sounds to hear the story. Great channel, surprised you're so small
I just discovered your channel - you have a wonderful voice and the recordings are fantastic! The presentation is natural (doesn’t feel like you’re reading from a script, the pacing is normal) and there’s a soft enthusiasm in your narration that is calming and enjoyable to listen to. Keep up the great work!
one mistake, the printing press of the Koreans were with unmovebale letters. so you could only print one thing with each printing press. the Gutenberg printing press is special in the way that every letter could be moved and through that texts could easily be created. thats why no one ever heard of the korean printing press because it wasnt that revolutionary.
1946,after Japan was defeated in the pacific war, Japan wrote the document about definition of Japan.when they wrote this document, they accepted dokdo.but in this day Japan insist that dokdo is their's I am Korean.i don't know English very well so there is many errors in that writing.if you found the errors, plz tell me
As I’ve said before, I love architecture from any part of Asia, in particular, countries like South Korea with their beautiful temples and palaces. South Korea is also home to the very elegant Incheon Bridge, which I think is beautiful. There are also a lot of amazing people within the ASMR community from South Korea, Latte is one of the best, full stop. Also, just another silly thing from when I was younger, I used to think Seoul and Costa del Sol were the same place. 🙈
I havnt had tingles from a video in proly a year i just use asmr to sleep mostly.. and this one gave me them in like the first 10 seconds.. My first time seeing one of your videos.. U have a really nice voice and pretty hands and dope nails.. And u say your old.. Got me wondering how old lol
Quelle est votre préférence linguistique? Au cas où, si vous vous demandez sérieusement ce que signifie la question? Je veux dire pour, "Quelle langue avez-vous une préférence?"

I've been living in Korea for years I'm still learning new things.

thats why no one ever heard of the korean printing press because it wasnt that revolutionary.
I still think it's neat 😊 but thanks for the clarification!
Thank you. I'm having an exam of korean history. This relaxes and helps me. Cheers
Old school Kpop fan here, saw BoA and TVXQ in 2004. I’m with you, it’s been a surreal ride watching it take off.
Oh man it must have been amazing to see TVXQ in 2004!
@@ASMRGeographica I still can't believe it. I didn't appreciate it enough at the time, we had no idea what those boys would go on to become!
