- My board is broken at the moment which is a huge bummer. In the meantime, I have some real homies that are keeping me floating! Thanks so much @leonchang7596 for lending me your VESC this week. It has been such a fun experience riding your setup!
Here are some clips of me riding through various terrains. From street riding, to the skatepark, to the trails. This board can handle it all with absolute ease. I was incredibly impressed with the torque power of the @Fungineers motor when it came to climbing hills. It was unbelievable to say the least. I’m a big boy and this board was more than up for the ride.
There were some things that I found to be challenging but in time could learn to adjust to. The app, for one, was pretty frustrating to use at times. It is also a software that I am brand new to and unfamiliar with; so I imagine like most things, the more you use it, the better and easier it gets to navigate.
This has been a fun experience for me and I’m extremely grateful to have such cool friends that are so generous. I appreciate the love!

Awesome video. So cool to see you rocking a VESC! Got mine about a month ago and I'm loving the ride more and more. The app is something to wrap your head around but the smoothness of the ride makes up a lot. About to put my CBXR in there to get some more punch and range in that stoke machine. Keep on shredding mate!
Thanks man! Leon's vesc was an awesome experience. I agree, the UI isn't very fun to navigate. I got overwhelmed many times lol. But I was thoroughly impressed with what the board was capable of!

Great video out of interest what do you use to film?
I use a few different cameras but the 2 primary cameras I use are the insta360 X4 and the Sony a6400!
This particular video I utilized just the Sony camera. I put it in a small tripod and then try and capture myself riding by. 🤙🏾
oo I gotta look into that cutoff on the drop, seems like it triggered some kind of fault during high speed motor freespin 🤔
Not entirely sure what happened! I only attempted the drop once. I didn’t want to push it too hard!

Thanks for your question. I did not build this vesc. This was made by Leon, a local rider and vesc aficionado here in NYC. Dope guy and incredibly knowledgeable. He loaned me his board for a week while mine was out of commission.
