....".its a warm fire lit evening in rural west Virginia... she's singing in the bar. he looks at her. remembers how kind and quiet she was back in grade school. its been too long since hes been back. but hes glad he did, because at that very moment, in that very bar, with that very girl, with the straw yellow hair and her dads guitar, he knew that Alice was for him." AHHHHHH the imagery
The orginal is quite an uplifting tune. When you strip away the up-beat orchestra, like what Alice does here, you'll find that its a terribly sad song.... its about 3 men in different generations of a family that are wounded and torn apart by losing a woman they loved.... the older brother's sister died, the father's wife divorced him, and the grandfather's wife died from cancer. All 3 left weary and restless... So heartbreaking
Okay so i know when you cover less well-known songs, they get way less views than your covers of really popular songs, but i just wanted to let you know i hope you keep doing these anyway! I love your covers of folky songs so much, they just suit your voice so well and have so much feeling and depth to them. Anyways i love your voice, keep doing what you're doing <3
Always when i listen to your covers i dont want to know the originals, they distroy this magic you put out of them, please never stop to do your beautiful covers, salute!
Been listening to you since 2015, and in some strange way your voice has become this little part of my life. Thank you for continuing to make beautiful music and for singing it with your soul <3

That 1 dislike is probably her being modest
I'm sure you've been told a million times, but the likeness to Natalie Portman is uncanny. I'm certain you have Scorpio Rising.
