Thanks so much for all your explanations! It took me hours
to get to the heart of the machine and remove the jammed paper (much harder to
do than in your movie; paper had crumpled and doubled up inside). Then after putting
it all back inside: 1. Power button did no longer work; 2. Toner cartridge
could no longer be inserted, it got stuck sideways. Turned out that these tiny hinges
for the facedown cover were the culprits. One of them was still down inside
blocking the cartridge; the other one (?!) possibly led to a misplaced power
button. Anyway, after going back in my steps (and accidentally breaking one of
them) I found that out, and finally, yes yes: the printer works again!! At
almost three moments during the process I was on the point of throwing it all on
the garbage dump. So those of you who contemplate doing this repair: take care
of these tiny hinges near the facedown cover!! They break easily.

This printer was a lot lighter than expected. Easy to set up also. Just follow the instructions works great! I purchased this one because I needed something to print out homework assignments since I went back to college.
Glad I could help!
took us an hour to do all of your steps (with pause play in between) but we were able to fix it.
THANK YOU ;)
Rizza mae ong Welcome!
i felt like a pro.
haha...
unforgettable experience.
Thank you brother....you saved my printer!!! :) If you have the correct tools, you can do this in less than 1 hour. Only pay attention in the position of the wires, to reassembly.
I did it once last year. Now the printer jammed again - and I had to do it once more! The instructions are still useful.
Thanks
Guys... actually u can just pull it away(paper), no need to open all those screw..i just try an it work.Make sure you remove the cartridge first.
Dude
Cool
Yeah, I first did that but guess what? it's torn now, half part is successfully out in my hand and the rest half is now nowhere to be seen
Well... usually you don't need to disassemble all the printer, it's crazy man. Just remove the cartridge and you can easily see and remove the jammed paper. Anyway very useful video. Thank you.
Thanks for the tip
Yeah! that's what I'm looking for! I saw dad doing exactly that, Now, I've jammed the paper in the printer and I'm trying to take it out before he returns
cheers' mate...just finished the work, and it's back to normal...THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I learned by discovery. I just unscrew the left side cover, uncover the motor, and moved the rubber belt as if it were moving and there it was the piece of paper getting out as easily as skiing on ice.
Took me 6 hours to complete this. Oh my god... but it's worth it. Thank you, Man! :D
You saved my printer! Thanks!
Couldn't be more simpler than that. Awesome.
It is obviously a helpful video....but there is NO way it should be that complicated to clear a paper jam!!
Wow I did it. I can't believe it and it works (I mean only little glitch the front door doesn't close completely and to print now I have to keep it pushed with my thumb...) but what a job... :-(
Excellent travail de présentation et ça fonctionne! Merci beaucoup,
really thank you this video was very helpful
Thank you very much for this video.
Yay!! Thank you. it took us an hour and a half to clear the jam, but in saying that, it would have probably been cheaper to by another printer
Thanks Dear very well done good job man
I'm having trouble with the power supply board of an HP 1007 printer. The problem is basically printer is power on (power LED is glowing) and relay also ON when I push power button switch (tic-tac switch) but initial checking process is not started and a popup message is coming of computer that printer has "Door Open". I have already tested with another same model immaculate power supply board then the printer is work perfectly. Already I have tested this malfunction power board parts as following, but could not resolve the problem:
1. I have compared all the parts value by a multi meter for K3564 MOSFET, D2399 NPN Transistor, BCR5PM 14l Triac with a good power supply board but all the values ar OK.
2. If the primary section MOSFET K3564 had malfunctioned then power would not flow to secondary position.
3. When the printer is connected with computer then a "Door Open" pop up message is coming but all the door switch is perfectly pushed when I cartridge door seated perfectly.
I don't understand which parts are bad on power supply board. This problem is only for power supply board because I have already tested it with an another perfect power supply board then the printer is working fine.
crap, think I'll just buy another printer !!!!!!!1
Excellent and very ease topic video.

Very clear and helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Can you elabore on how to remove the Input tray?
What I see in the end of the process on dissambling is not paper jam... but...
that roll thing (I'm not sure what to called it, heater?), is warped with film, right?...
and the film is ripped off, i don't know how and by what does it teared...
is it possible to buy and change just the film? could I changed it?
+Dwi Satria Yes, you can change the it. The part name is fuser film sleeve.

my printer crumples paper in loading tray before printing and get stuck. does this mean there's something obstructing the path of the paper?
+Timothy De La Cruz Try to look inside the tray paper path if there is any obstruction.
can u give a full video how to assemble and dessemble this printer...............please!
Can you see a secretary in a legal office taking this thing apart on her desk trying to remove the jam? What a joke. It would cost more to have a repairman come into the office and do all this than it would cost to just buy another one... wait ... maybe that is the idea.
After reassembling I am getting an internal engine fuser error, I checked all again and all inside seem to be well placed.
Re-reassembled and worked.
Thanks for the video.
hello, you comment that I have a hp printer laserjet1015, I always jammed paper is between the fuser and pressure roller (orange). wants to know if I could help with that problem, of course thank you very much. Greetings from Argentina
Did you replaced the fuser film? if yes, you need to put a grease before you install the fuser film. see link for picture of grease and where you will put the grease:

Daniel Luque hey i have same situation please help me dear
thanks
I disassembled it, couldn't put it together properly.
Nice
Seriously - this is anything but easy. Clearly NOT meant to be serviced.. By the time you follow the 20 steps on how to disassemble, you will realize it is not worth the 2 hour effort to reassemble. That said, his instructions do seem correct although I couldn't access one screw that he shows as accessible due to an interfering part. I don't think I could have reassembled no matter what I did.
+panschel Hi! can I help you on which part of the 20 steps that you're having a hard time?
Xian ece hi, thanks to your video i succesfully unjammed the printer. but as i am assembling i cant seem to find where the pink wire connects. from the video mine should connect to a plastic thingy but i dont think thats right.

seriously, it's a paper jam. It just should not be this intense.
IrisMoonInc hey i have same situation please help me dear
I never did follow all those steps because I knew I wouldn't be putting Humpty together again. Miraculously, however I did get the paper out and the printer is just fine! I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
А я не разбирая разрезал канцелярским ножом и выковыривал
What a horrible design! But thanks for the clear video. I now have a working printer once more, and a new appreciation for the complexity of these beasts.
Great instructions. Terrible printer design. I can clear paper jams on my Lexmark without taking out a single screw. Printers should be designed that way.
Or, buy an new replacement for a hundred bucks.
So there must have slipped a 10ct coin in my printer. By this video learned how to dissemble it and remove this kinky bastard
Do video next time picture wasn't helpful
On this aspect, I clearly show the precise details and steps on how to troubleshoot the problem. Thanks for your input and will consider your suggestion
this is nonsense. I just want to pull out a piece of paper from the printer! Look what you are doing. You disassemble the printer as if you want to replace circuit. Your wasting time. !Extremely BORING
