Learnt a lot about P4 from this. Watched every second. One thing you might have missed is the battery life. I know you guys plugged in the external battery bank but again this is an added step. Great video all together.
Nice review. A couple of corrections about the Rodecaster Pro, first, they provide a huge battery bank so you can be completely portable with the unit. Second, the unit actually has 7 inputs, four are xlr, one from the computer, one that is a line in for a cell phone and finally a bluetooth connection too. The Zoom beats the Rodecaster Pro for portability, that is why I am considering purchasing it for the times I need to be truly remote.
@@ShawnKoh I received the battery with my purchase. The power bank is a RAVPower PD Pioneer 26800mAh 30W 3-port power bank. It was likely a promotional thing.
Yeah I've heard a lot of good things about davinci... Nothing beats the Adobe suite though I terms of seamless usability between the different apps... I just wish it wasn't so God damn f**King buggy!!
Did you have any issues syncing the 44.1khz audio with your video? I’m looking to set up a video podcast with the p4 but have had mixed messages regarding syncing issues.
Hi! I didn't face any syncing issues but after awhile (cos I filmed this ages ago) I realised that for some weird reason, if I used a SanDisk SD card, sometimes the recording would skip certain parts.. Once I switched to a different brand it was fine...
Do you mean sending the audio from the phone mic to record on the P4? if you mean record video on the phone, and then have a pic connected to the P4 then for sure no issues. You might just want to do a clap at the start to help sync audio in post.
what I want is , i don't have a camera as of now, I want to use my phone as the camera to record the footage video, having the phone connected directly to the p4, and sound coming from my p4 to the camera

Thanks Tim! Yeah I've not seen it in person so I was going on what one of us said so I'm glad you cleared that up! :)
Hi Tim, I believe the battery is not included. They introduced the DC-USB1 cable so you can use your own power bank to power it portably.

@@RemotelyNews ow wow hha good for you :)
I use Davinci Resolve for editing videos! Pretty cool for FHD videos, and comes with a legit audio editor; Fairlight. Love it.

Enjoyed watching this even though I was alrdy in it 😂
How do you record directly to the camera? Just using the headphone Jack?
My camera has a mic in.... If I remember correctly (cos I filmed this ages ago) I took the output of the ppdtrack to the mic in of the camera
@@TechnoBabbleMedia thank you, I enjoyed this vid
How did you run video into the p4 interface?
Oh we don't run video into the P4. I sync the audio with the video recorded on ym camera in Adobe Premiere Pro
Where is the razer blade gaming review
I apologies for my nose wheezing 😂
Nah dude... It added to the "atmosphere" 🤣🤣
😂. Was guessing who it was.
