Of course Rachel, and so many other wonderfully talented beautiful friends. Moved from bed rest to sofa rest. I feel I’m turning a corner. Husband hanging shelves in craft studio today. We closed on our home on May 28. Moving van arrived 29. I was truly blessed that we have a very dear friend who’s home I stayed there during this time. It’s had its ups and downs because I have a schedual.. coffee , Gail time, et.

nice video Gayle, and hearing all about your vacation. I was going to mention...to smooth off the edges of the tags, etc., you can use an emery board to lightly sand off the sides. Works really good and is fast and very easy.

That was a real awesome. vacation. My son-in-law goes to the outer banks, NC every year with his 6 siblings and their family. This was the first time his elderly parents didn't go. One of his teenage nephew didn't know he had Corona virus, and almost the entire family, including my daughter and her 3 years old girl. Since they're young and healthy, they're almost over it. Beautiful napkins.
I have missed my family so much these past few months. I’m so glad you were able to see each other. It sounds like you really have fun get togethers. I know what you mean about visit while you can. Nobody knows which direction this whole virus is gonna go. I never felt like a member of “the elderly” until this COVID 19 showed up and I became one of the at risk folks. I get upset over fireworks. They’re supposed to be illegal here. Our field has been set ablaze twice by fireworks. We have been watering the grass heavily and mowing it short. So far so good.
Andrea Johns ...oh no! Stay safe. I live in NY where fireworks are NOT legal ( excepTION: Legal for a few “safer” types in July & January for 1 week only.) The biggest Problem is the Pennsylvania-border is less than 10 miles away from us! Pennsylvania fireworks are legal. So sorry you miss your family. I miss mine. We recently entered phase 4 so I hope to visit my cousins next week for an outside short get together

Gail I agree wholeheartedly in a time when we are being told to shelter in place, it is too easy afraid of everything just hide away in our craft room’s. There are ways that we can be safe as your family did it may mean for some no hugs or kisses and the time for hugs and kisses will return and oh won’t they be wonderful. Always love spending an hour crafting with you when I can.
Stunning! I love this! Napkin over bookpage tags, journaling cards and even covers are some of my favorite projects and this just adds another great element to it with having the neutral collaged background. I’m so glad your family vacation turned out great! I do family dinner here every Sunday for my kids and grandkids that can make it. It’s the most important thing to me! I have 4 kids and 7 grand babies with one on the way. I love having a big family. My hubby and I would have had more but god had a different plan for us. Beautiful tags, pockets, and flippy thing! I love the napkin decoupage, I need to do this more often because I have a million napkins and they’re all already separated because I did that during the lockdown because I thought I might need the layers for toilet paper but I didn’t. Those great fireworks that the neighbor had that weren’t your normal every day backyard fireworks, they’re called “illegal.” 💥 💣 🧨 😝 It was like a war zone I where I live, they went on for weeks before the fourth.
Lyn’s Altered Arts same here with the fireworks. It was a bit irritating because we live in a row home in the NE of the US. A bit concerned it would start a fire. The worst night in our city, it did cause 100K Fire damage to a building...it caught on fire. Not sure if they caught the people who did it though. It would go on till 2 and 3 am every night. I hope it stays calm for a bit so people’s pets can get a break. -Victoria Kay

I spent 2 days working with napkins, I even made journal pages with the napkins. I have newspaper from the early 70’s that will work be nice to decoupage on book pages, the paper aged nicely. I have a question for you, does your Big Shot use other brands of die cuts? Yes, Jimmy Joe is trying to make you guys sad for leaving him, our dog does it to us all the time. I love these decoupaged tags Gayle. So pretty over the book pages. It was great hearing of your fun vacation with your sweet family Gayle. Mine just left today. They were here almost a week. During the COVID shutdown, they have kept themselves in good physical shape playing badminton every night after dinner. Their teen kids, 16 and 19 have really loved it. They brought it with them and we played it a lot the weekend of the 4th. I have a small hill at the back of my lot and I set up a huge slip and slide too. Great summer fun. I am driving to Nashville, TN tomorrow to see my granddaughter play softball. Really excited about that too. What a thrill your Mike must have had winning the Ping Pong tourney. Maybe you and Mike could do a re-do of your Sonny and Cher routine here on You Tube. I'll be watching for that for sure. lol Hugs to you and the entire family.

I love using napkins to decoupage, and these are particularly pretty on the grungy background! I make a lot of cards, so these will be next on my "to do" list! So glad you had a great vacation. You and your family are so lucky to have each other!

Hi Gayle, so happy to hear you had a awesome time with your family, we all need some laughs these days. Very pretty napkins you used. I spent 2 days working with napkins, I even made journal pages with the napkins. I have newspaper from the early 70’s that will work be nice to decoupage on book pages, the paper aged nicely. I have a question for you, does your Big Shot use other brands of die cuts? Yes, Jimmy Joe is trying to make you guys sad for leaving him, our dog does it to us all the time. Our dog will stay by our side for days to make sure we don’t leave her again.

I love these decoupaged tags Gayle. So pretty over the book pages. It was great hearing of your fun vacation with your sweet family Gayle. Mine just left today. They were here almost a week. During the COVID shutdown, they have kept themselves in good physical shape playing badminton every night after dinner. Their teen kids, 16 and 19 have really loved it. They brought it with them and we played it a lot the weekend of the 4th. I have a small hill at the back of my lot and I set up a huge slip and slide too. Great summer fun. I am driving to Nashville, TN tomorrow to see my granddaughter play softball. Really excited about that too. What a thrill your Mike must have had winning the Ping Pong tourney. Maybe you and Mike could do a re-do of your Sonny and Cher routine here on You Tube. I'll be watching for that for sure. lol Hugs to you and the entire family.
