Didn’t know dogs could retrace their way back home by turning around and sniffing their on scents back to the house. Only once did one of my dogs run away. Didn’t end well. But no dogs lost after. Jill, question please. Does it hurt dogs when they drink free standing water out in nature? Like brackish water? Thank you much!!
It can.... If there is blue green Algee in it.... or if a sick deer or racoon peed in the water they could get Leptospirosis which both could be fatal. But most the time they are just fine.
