I live down in a suburb of Miami, I'm a nurse and we were finally getting a raising canes in town, They brought a whole food truck to our hospital to like promo to the staff working lol. When they finally opened the restaurant, boy, they needed police to direct the traffic and the drive thru lines LMAO.
For me it was CosMc's! The hype for that starting in Chicago was INSANE!!! I mean a 3 1/2 wait for food haha and thanks to everyone that hungout with us on the Live stream for that!
You guys missed out. They give free fresh baked thick pita with every bowl like that if you ask for it. The garlic white sauce is 🔥 and the play is to do 1/2 meat 1/2 roasted veggies.
I grew up with Whataburger in my hometown of Fort Smith, Arkansas in the ‘80s, but here in Memphis, Tennessee we just got two back-to-back. That’s probably the most psyched Memphis has been to get a new chain in a minute.
Weird hearing CAVA is new to you guys. I’m in Virginia and it’s Al over the place. My fiancé put me on and it’s sooooo good. The braised lamb goes crazy
I was just excited to hear Motor City Sports Bar in Hamtramck finally reopened after being closed from Covid until just a couple months ago. Their burger is second to none in Detroit. Cava looks good. The competitor, Roti, that I've never heard of is probably named after roti bread, pronounced row-tee, which is unleavened naan
They have a place similar to this right next to my work called "Currito." It's close out to like $12.50 there's tons of customization and everything tastes so fresh, it's my new favorite place to get on lunch break. And you're right you don't feel like crap and weighted down after eating the rest of the work day. I'd like.to.try this Cava place. Do they have Currito in Chicago?
We don't have Cava here in Minneapolis yet, but the side by side comparison I would do is Naf Naf Grill. Mediteranian bowls and the build your own start at $10.85.
WALMART 🫣... It came to town 30yrs ago and we lost are ever-lovin minds!!! We where there about everyday/night for weeks but then came everything..... Sonic, Starbucks, Logans, Ruby Tuesdays, Red Lobster, Five Guys, Cracker Barrel Olive Graden, Chipotle, about 80 more... oh... I forgot the Casino😳and each time MIND🤯BLOWN! This little town has become *(sound it out, you can do it I believe in you)* PURRRt-Tee popular but the family owned bakery, delis and BBQ places are where I frequent the most😬. Great video as always! Much love everybody. #Sixer4Life🧀
As average as they are Portillo's would be the best beef sandwich in Las Vegas if they were to come here... I would really be pumped if Johnnie's Beef went national and came to Las Vegas
Whenever that eastward move happens for In-N-Out, that's going to be pure fast food hype insanity. Also the lines at Chick-Fil-A every day look like it's some grand opening and I don't get it.
Word up fellas...great vid...I have a CAVA that opened up about a year ago less than a mile from my apartment.....The main bigtime huge popular food chain was definately IN and OUT...I have an IN and OUT right across the street as well as a Jersey Mike's and a Firehouse Subs and they are all very freakin busy....anyway guys....have a great weekend say Hi to the MRS Ely and MRS Wagner for Chef Jeffrey....Im o-u-t✌
Here in north Atlanta, over the last year or two - people are losing their shit over Whataburger and Raisin' Canes coming to town. Whataburger has now opened several locations - and I love the food there. Cane's has only opened a couple of spots, and they are really tough to get into. So, my daughter and I tried Canes on a road trip twice - once driving through Nashville and once in St. Louis. And it was pretty good. Fries suck. Tenders, slaw and sauce were good. But we have plenty of chicken tender places here - and more coming with the Alabama joint "Guthries" coming sometime later this year.
I am curious to hear how a wrap from Cava would compare to one from Evette’s. I wonder if the local would beat the chain as with the chili dog review. I’ve been passing the Hardee’s under construction on Division. I have fond memories of eating there on road trips growing up.
I could eat there everyday! There is one right by my job and at first... I thought it was a Cell Phone place, but knowing it was a restaurant..... and I am not really knowledgeable about Mediterranean food, but this is a great place to get introduced to it.

I was super excited when Portillos was coming to Grand Rapids. Then Covid stopped it dead in its tracks! Still hoping for one someday!
Everything at Portillo's is good!
Portillo's is the bomb!

hahaha that's amazing!
Love Cava! A normal bowl in Phoenix is $11 but if you add lamb thats a $3.40 up charge.
yeah that price point is rough
For me it was CosMc's! The hype for that starting in Chicago was INSANE!!! I mean a 3 1/2 wait for food haha and thanks to everyone that hungout with us on the Live stream for that!
We got our first daves hot chicken here in MN and I drove 2 hrs round trip to get it! I ate like a SOW!
they're pretty dang good!
You guys missed out. They give free fresh baked thick pita with every bowl like that if you ask for it. The garlic white sauce is 🔥 and the play is to do 1/2 meat 1/2 roasted veggies.
what!!! So excited to know that now for next time! thanks for the info!
Wendy's was ours. The closest one was quite a drive away. In the mid 80's we finally got one in our city. In fact, we eventually got two.
that's freaking awesome!
Thanks!
Larry still undefeated 💪
Larry!! THE MAN THE LEGEND!!
Love that you have a Cava there now! If you go again, make sure you get the pita chips. They might be the best things on earth. Cheers fellas!
yeah I heard from someone else we missed out on the pita chips! We'll definitely have to get some next time we go there!
I grew up with Whataburger in my hometown of Fort Smith, Arkansas in the ‘80s, but here in Memphis, Tennessee we just got two back-to-back. That’s probably the most psyched Memphis has been to get a new chain in a minute.
I've still never tried them!
I was very hyped when In N Out opened in my area last year and was impressed with the whole experience.
I still haven't tried it!
I loved Cava when I tried it in NYC. Looking forward to this!
finally have one in the city for you!
Rhgg!!!! We had the EXACT type of restaurant here!!! It was EXTREMELY popular for the entire year....then Covid. So jealous
delicious spot!
Not used to seeing Corey with this kind of bowl LOL
Great vid as always though!
hahahahhaha
Weird hearing CAVA is new to you guys. I’m in Virginia and it’s Al over the place. My fiancé put me on and it’s sooooo good. The braised lamb goes crazy
that's awesome! and I agree. it's sooo good. I actually hadn't even heard of it until it opened here but I love it!
I was hyped when Bubbakoo's burritos opened in bayonne which is the next city next to me where i live in nj
I haven't tried them yet! I'll have to keep my eyes open for that spot to open here in Chicago!
Great video as usual, looked tasty :)
thanks brother!
Freddys. Their burgers are phenomenal.
they might be the best!
Love that place when I would travel east it was for sure a must stop quick easy healthy meal
it's dang good!

Looks good never heard of the place but I got one like 40 min away. Might have to try it
it was pretty decent!
@@numbersixwithcheese so not worth a drive ?
Fifteen dollars has become the new average norm. Especially with local places. Except for an Special Occasion, too much for this Poor Boy in Paradise.
That’s true, $15 is like the new $10

wow, looks like they have two of them in the 'burbs!
Will CAVA open in Canada? I'm so far away from the closest one
hopefully they will eventually!
There's actually a Hardees/Carl Jrs in chicago now. Im sure I seen it on Halsted and Division.
It’s been in the process of ‘opening’ for like a year.
We don't have Cava here in Minneapolis yet, but the side by side comparison I would do is Naf Naf Grill. Mediteranian bowls and the build your own start at $10.85.
we need to do naf naf on the channel!
Looks good but too expensive. No location near me. 4 out of 5 sounds right.
definitely a bit pricey!
So we love Cava but in the DC area that bowl is no more than $11!
you lucky dog!
Awesome Vid ❤❤❤❤❤❤
thanks buddy!

YES! I remember walmarts popping up and it was such a big deal!
Wouldn't go there unless I was on vacation or could snag two meals from one bowl. Or a light date night meal where we can talk n share
yeah that's probably the move!
I had Skug once. Antibiotics cleared it right up.
hahahhahahaha
As average as they are Portillo's would be the best beef sandwich in Las Vegas if they were to come here... I would really be pumped if Johnnie's Beef went national and came to Las Vegas
johnnie's beef going national would be legendary!
I'm mad... You know why...
hahahha
Roti can be good, but it’s really inconsistent.
that's a bummer to hear!
Cool.
right! so much fun trying a new spot!
White Boys With White Boards #WBWWB!
Might need to change the channel name to that.
Whenever that eastward move happens for In-N-Out, that's going to be pure fast food hype insanity. Also the lines at Chick-Fil-A every day look like it's some grand opening and I don't get it.
I'm excited to try it one day!
Corey you're shirt is spot on what does it say on the back curious.

Kylie said hi back Chef Jeff!!!
sheetz gas station and food court.
Sheetz has set the bar for filling station food stuff, service, and stuff.
we should do a review there soon!
Cava replaced Zoe’s Kitchen for me and it is such a letdown. 😭
that's a bummer!
That started out here in DETROIT and it’s half the price, you’re getting robbed
Started in Maryland
Row-tee
ahhh thanks!

I still haven't tried whataburger and want to so bad!

that'll make for a fun review!
Delicioso 🎉🎉🎉🎉
absolutely!
I wonder if Corey likes basmati. I need one of those bowls. yum
I LOVE it!!!!!

defintiely a great intro to mediterranean food!
Wayyyyy too expensive for garbage middle eastern food.
food wasn't the opposite of garbage but it was definitely expensive!
Thanks!
You're the freaking man Alex!
Thanks!
