Turns out I couldn't shake the urge to vid these two in a much more traditional fanvid kind of way! When I heard this song - particularly 'I know you're wondering why / Because we're able to be / Just you and me / Within these walls / But when we go outside / You're going to wake up and see that it was hopeless after all' - it all clicked for me; the push and pull of it all, the miscommunications, the disapproval from others, the highs, the lows, etc. is so very Rory and Jess, imo. One day these two will get their timing right...

Story idea: Rory is raising her child in Stars Hollow and she ends up with Jess like Luke helped raise Rory
It's an excellent idea. But Jess have a free spirit and he's a writter and Stars Hollow is not interesting

The thing with Jess and Rory is that Jess never broke up with Rory, but Dean and Logan did
He never wanted it to be over, but he was dealing with so much crap at the time, and he felt like he screwed up so bad so his natural instinct was to run, in order to protect himself, plus Luke kicked him out, and he wanted to meet his dad. He just didn't know how to communicate, he did call her, but he was afraid to say anything he felt he wasn't good enough for her, and he knew how bad he screwed up. He always loved her, and he never stopped loving her.
I like Logan too much and Rory together but Jess will be always my favourite. It’s just another level for me.

i love how jess brought out that wild side of rory, they should've been endgame..
I am always team Rory as her boyfriends to me are meh but at the same time I truly believe Jess is her Luke, and that is why their path is so tricky like Luke and Lorelai's was, Luke and Lorelai never stopped loving each other and eventally came back together, maybe one day these two will too.

Jess was the only one that never cheated on her or with her. He might of not been the best boyfriend all the time because he was struggling with his own issues but he grew as a person and always saw Rory’s potential
Not true. Jess and rory kissed when she was with Logan. He didn't know she was still with him though so it wasn't his fault
@@bellascoles191 HE never cheated on her or with her with anyone (meaning he’s in a relationship and kisses her example: he broke up with the blonde to date her in earlier seasons). I never said SHE didn’t cheat.

Jess is Rory’s soulmate and I wish they were together still I liked Dean and Logan but I feel Jess is just right for her he always pushed her to be her best later on and got her to snap out of whatever funk she was in he really loved her, yeah he made lots of mistakes but he loved her
That is why they are soulmates... Sometimes soulmates don't end up together but they will always love each other in ways no one else does
What annoys me is Rory gave every other one of her bfs a second chance but Jess. Even though Jess was her SOuLmAte 😩😩

Jess isn’t perfect and he made mistakes but I truly believe that he and Rory are Perfect for each other. Logan was terrible for Rory he brought the worst parts out of her, and dean just sucked towards the end, he dumped three time, two of Which were At large gatherings. Sure Jess isn’t perfect he’ll who is, but challenged her pushed to be best the she could and when Rorys life was taking a turn for her worst he called her out and got her back on track. Plus he’s damn hot 🥵 this vid shows that very well done 👍
yeah logan and rory never really worked. she brought out the best in him, but he brought out the worst in her :(

I've watched this vid about 4 million times but only have realized on the 100th or whatever rewatch that oh, they are literally alone inside these walls "but when we go outside" someone else like Dean or Logan is there... so many creative and subtle lyric matches and parallels... I'm just in awe... how can someone as talented as you not have more subscribers. Only 643 seems criminally low.
This is so sad but so beautiful.I have never been in a relationship .I am 16 but I really hope I do not have this type of relationship where both people in the relationship will always love each other and are meant for each other but the timing is always off.It just makes it hurt more cause I think those are the saddest types of love.

I feel like this song is a perfect song for Rory and Jess since they are a right person wrong time.
Why don't we "rewrite the script" and make them endgame! We may never get to see them endgame on a screen! 😭😭 We needed more time with them, it's not fair! Ugh the writers had to torture us! 😭😭 The fans could have written their story better, these two deserved to be endgame, and the writers intentionally ruined their relationship, and kept them apart for as long as they possibly could, drug Rory's character through the mud, stripped her dignity, and ruined their plot AGAIN! Ugh! The writers had soo many opportunites to fix it, and now we'll never get to see them endgame! 😢😢 Yes we can assume they will end up together eventually, because they were made for each other, but I wanted to see it on my screen! It's the most frustrating thing I've ever seen on a show two people who are mean't to be, and were supposed to be endgame! In one way I love their story, but in one way, they deserved soooo much better we were robbed!! 😔😔 I'm sorry for the rant I loved the video! It was gorgeous, the editing was fantastic, and I loved all the parallels you added wow, I'm blown away this is soo good! 💕
