I had the Endurance on my 46' toy hauler, from the factory. I run with TPMS, and they were fine, until I had a blowout (that took out the other two tires on that side as well) after 4 years,
100% agree. Got my Endurance tires this past June for a trip and I drove over 3,000 first trip and never had to add air to the tires. I got back from my first trip and the TT sat for about four months and then another trip out and during my prep, only had to add about 5 PSI and I think it was more do to temperature changed from the summer to the fall here in Tucson, Arizona. Went from outdoor temps of over 100 to temps in the 70's and only adding 5 PSI may not have been really needed. I always check air pressure at every stop and amazingly held at the original pressure at the beginning of my second trip out. Even the spare I only had to add about 7 PSI and it too is an Endurance tire.
I've been pleasantly surprised with them.

Thanks for the update. I'm looking at these in a 225/75R15 and the Transeagle TA17 all steel construction with an F load rating. Both for roughly same cost. You're the first update I've seen for the Endurance. I'm having trouble finding reviews on the Transeagle all steels.

On my 2nd set, very good tire. Did have a blowout after 15k. Always check air, and wear, one tire will most likely wear a different over time, always!.
Hi Great video. I have heard good things about the tires. Come the spring time I will be putting them on my Imagine 22RBE. I will be heading out to the east coast for 2 weeks on a road trip vacation. I have one spare and wil be keeping 1 to make into a spare.

I searched for a review on these and look who's channel pops up. 😁 I just hit 3 years with my China bombs. 😲😲😲 I know, that's crazy. After our last trip I noticed 2 of them have cracks on the side walls. Needless to say I won't be moving the trailer with those tires again. I'm ordering the goodyear endurance tires tomorrow. I think I'm gonna replace the spare too. Surprisingly my tire kings have been great about holding air. I haven't had any problems with them. But of course I keep them covered and parked on wood. Thanks for an update, I didn't even know they had anything special about the side walls.

We're going on 5 years with our original Trailer King's. Always have to top them off prior to trips, but I've been surprised/lucky. We only put about 1k miles each year on the RV though and I keep them covered, but the RV in in direct sunlight every day. Upgrading to the GoodYear Endurance this weekend. Hopefully they don't blow on my way to the tire shop! 🤞🏻
Thanks for the info, I ran these tires on my last camper and they held up pretty good, I now have a 2019 Grand Design Reflection running Westlake tires, Going to Discount tomorrow morning to order the Goodyear before a trip from Queen Creek AZ to Cortez CO, Just wondering what tire pressure is being set, I know 80 psi is max but with the AZ heat worried that might be too high, Thanks in advance for all feedback, Brian
No, tire manufacturers allow for that wiggle room. If you are near tire capacity run what the sidewalls tell you to run.

Had these tires on my 9200 pound travel trailer for approximately two years have approximately 5000 miles on them exceptional wear do not have to add air as often if at all really pleased with them would recommend them to anybody buying trailer tires

75 PSI my trailer is not heavy enough to inflate to 80 pounds
I have just under 5k on my Goodyear Endurance tires. They’ve not given me a bit of trouble knock on wood. Unlike the Carlisle’s I had gotten over 11k in 3 years. I checked them before a long vacation trip and ended up replacing them all after finding cracks in the sidewalls. I couldn’t use a single one as a spare :(

I have about 6000miles on my tandem castlerocks and they're not wearing evenly. I don't know if it's an issue with my trailer axle alignment or what. Will check in the spring. Sounds like the endurance last a long time, I'll definitely consider them when the time comes.
The spare tire on any vehicle is considered "in service" and should be rotated around to exercise the rubber
I’m nee to Rv trailers. I’m still surprised that getting 10,000 miles (16,000 km) on trailer tires is considered amazing.
I probably have 6-7 thousand miles on mine also. I agree about them holding pressure too. I did get a little larger tire than stock and gained a bit of weight capacity also.

If it were me, I'd go get that Westlake remounted and tested for leaks. It could be a bad mount job, or cheap valves. I also have the Endurance tires (including the spare). I got them right after I ordered my trailer and put them on the day after I got it. That was May of 2017. Awesome tires.

Nitrogen is a gimmick. I wouldn’t worry about it.

Fixing to put these on our trailer, heading for Wisconsin later this year and don't want troubles while on the road. And, they are made in the USA.
I put these on our 2018 Reflection 303RLS days after we picked it up back in April 2018 and have been recommending them in the Grand Design FB groups since for any trailer 12K GVWR and under. Love these tires.
Mine are dated March 2017 and just had them checked here in Redding they look very good course I keep my tires treated and my trailer is parked inside under a cover however these tires look really good I’m sold on them
Just ordered 4. Had a blowout coming back from Michigan snowmobiling. Only bout 2,000 miles on brand new trailer that came with Karrier Taiwan junk.
We just purchased a new grand design and it has the Goodyear endurance tires on it. We also got the tpms system along with the camper. Do you have a tpms system and if so what do you have the temperature set as ? So if the tire is becoming over heated the tpms will let you know before it pops.

Recently started watching your videos and just subscribed. I imagine you’ve switched out these tires at this point. Did you replace with the same brand? You’re traveling a lot more than I will with mine, do you think added cost would still be worthwhile if you only traveled 1,000 miles per year? I’m not trying to put you on the spot, but I do want to emphasize my family’s safety. We wouldn’t be traveling enough to wear out the tires, but general recommendations say to replace the tires every 3-4 years.

Never again GY tires for me... Two of these failed after a few hundred miles and GY refused to stand behind them. I ended up having to purchase two replacement Endurances to keep them all matching. GY corporate told me their warranty is not the same as a passenger vehicle tire. Truck needed tires a few months after this ordeal so I did NOT go with GY. Wife's Prius a month later needed tires. Again, NOT GY. When the rig needs new tires again I will be going with Maxxis 8008's. Used them on my heavy equipment trailers when I had my construction company and never had a problem with the Maxxis.
I was in the Grand Design factory this past week and it was awesome to see Grand Design is switching over to GY Endurance tires on their smaller units.

Just remember they are only an E rated tires so not for Solitudes or Momentums as they have a G rated tire. Oh and in 4 years with my Westlakes….still look new and and have only had to add a couple lbs of air in the spring and have held good all season. Take care of your tires and they will be good.

Oh I agree! After doing some research and talking to the RV owners an service people, I wanted to replace the china bombs on my new Grey Wolf, I also found GoodYear Endurance was the best, also among the most expensive, but really not all that much for 4 tires, mounted and balanced. Now my next endeavor will be to have them filled with Nitrogen! That way I’ll have more peace of mind. The original tires on both my 2015 Wolf Pup and 2020 Grey Wolf, had factory installed china bombs, filled with Nitrogen, that were actually trouble free on my 16 FQ Pup! With only needing air added only a few times over the almost 5 years ownership! It’s was only after I got a flat, that got me thinking about the china bombs bad reputation! But when I went to Kissimmee Camping World with my Pup to have new GoodYear Endurance tires installed, I actually ended up with a new trailer! With 4 new GoodYear Endurance tires added! Of course just a week after getting back to my in community storage lot and going to load up for a trip in a couple days, to find one new tire at 5 psi!!! That only ended up being a faulty green tattle tale cap leak! Needless to say I removed all of them! So now I’m going to bring my 24 JS Wolf, to get the tires filled with Nitrogen!

Would you choose a LT tire such as BFG TA KO 2 over a ST tire? Longlonghoneymoon suggests LT tire over the trailer tires.
Men, Toys, and Outdoors it’s certainly something to consider. I picked these particulate tires because of their sidewall reinforcement. I thought it may be a gimmick but after a few curbs I’m sold it’s legit.
We have had ours for a few years, we where one of the first people do buy them at Discount tire in Buford, I don;t know how many miles we have on them but we have been all aver Georgia, Tennessee the Carolina's and out to Arkansas. They look brand new still, I keep mine at 78-80psi and I hardly need to keep an eye on the TPMS because that's confident I feel with them.
I have a Westlake tire on a steel rim as a spare and have never had to add air to it. My trailer is a 2017 Cruiser RV Radiance and it’s the original spare. You may want to do a leak check (soapy water) and see if you have a bad valve stem or bead seal leak.
About to get outs in a couple days. Had them on the airstream and they held up great for 3 years

So much fuss for some tyres. In Europe we got "van" rated tyres... Continental 215 70 R15C 109 is almost half the price of your Goodyear Endurance and they take 2000kg load at 65 PSI with reinforced side wall.

HighlanderMikeGolf I recommend these tires. I just finished my first season with them and love the way my trailer tows. I can now set the cruise at 70 with no worries. They def make a trailer tow smoother.

what miles you think they will go on 16 utility trailer
Bought a set a little over a year ago and set off on our brand new tires. About 200 miles in I more than curb hopped I smoked a curb and jumped the plastic covered concrete protection for the sign which someone had hit previously. I was glad that the concrete broke at ground level but I am sure that the sidewall technology saved that trip. After preparing for our next trip I noticed terrible wear on the inside of the right rear tire. I rotated another tire to that location and kept a close eye on the TOMS throughout that trip. No major issues except 🤦♂️ you guessed it now I need to replace the rear axle plus two more Endurance tires. I don’t believe we would have made 4500 miles with a bent axle with any other. Don’t plan on finding out either. What an idiot, don’t hurry out of a crazy parking lot for people who most likely would have waited for that big truck pulling a big RV to clear. 🥴

Absolutely love our GY Endurance tires. We replaced our Westlakes in November 2018, and 13 months later we have put 21,000 miles on them. They are looking great. The ride is far superior to the Westlakes, especially on curves. They hold their air pressure and most of all, maintain pressure and temp at normal rates under extreme driving temps. We have them on our Grand Design 303RLS 5th wheel rv.

I too have noticed these GY Endurance tires rarely need to be aired up. They don't lose pressure. Great tires (so far) for us.
I have them on both my travel trailer and my bass boat trailer and have been extremely pleased with them.
I have the Endurance tires on my 2021 Outdoors Rv. 7,000 miles in and looking to replacing them to excessive tread wear. Switching to Michelin 16” Lt. Defenders load range E
I just put 4 Goodyears under my travel trailer even though the Castle Rock's that came on it only had 90 miles on them.

I see that the PSI is 80 for maximum what do you set your PSI at and how much does your camper weigh?
We're around 7500lbs. Our tires aren't the load E tires you're mentioning. We have load D which is fine for us. 65 PSI for us. Load D will ride a bit better with our weight.
I have a newbie question. We bought a brand new travel trailer (34ft) in March 2020. It has radial tires on it rated at a max mph of 75mph. We are moving from Texas to Boone NC in 2 weeks (1234 miles). How many hours on the road can you safely travel with TT tires? I would like to get a 8-10hr day in if possible but want to be safe as well. We do not have a TPMS system on it so I have no idea of how hot they would be. Any info would be appreciated. God bless.
TWC if you’re within weight limits of the tire and properly inflated the tire itself shouldn’t be an issue. I wouldn’t tow more than 8hrs in a day. It’s a little more mentally exhausting than simply driving. Many cut themselves off at 6. The longest I’ve done is 7 and I was glad we were done for the day.

Thanks for the review, I will definitely upgrade to Goodyear Endurance at some point soon. My 2021 KZ TT came with Trailer King nitrogen filled tires. So far we put about 1000 miles on them and they seem fine. But I know they are probably China Bombs and won’t last.
So, we blame Chinese manufacturers for building "cheap China bombs" specified by American companies to sell to American consumers at low price point.
Many lower-end products, including tires are now outsourced to Vietnam, India, and many other less-developed countries.
Future "Vietnam bombs"? How about "India bombs".

It doesn’t matter who specifies the tires, if they are made in China and they are an inferior product then they are China Bombs. And yes, if they are made in India then they are India Bombs etc. You can use whatever tire you want, but I’d rather go with a product like Goodyear that has been tried, tested and reviewed by many full time and weekend warrior RVers as a quality tire. Any tire can fail unexpectedly no matter what brand, but for my piece of mind and the overall safety of my family I’ll go with Goodyear Endurance thank you very much.
I'm really glad you did this -- I've heard nothing but good about Endurance's! We have a Keystone Springdale that is about 2 1/2 years old, and came with ST205/75R 15C Ranier "China Bombs," which I've been wanting to change to Endurance (I'm a big fan of Goodyear,) since the beginning. I run 50 PSI in our current tires, and I keep to around 63 MPH maximum because I worry they won't last if I go any faster, and so far, in about 4,000 miles, "no problems." With that being said, I'm concerned that my "C" rims, (aluminum,) would handle the Endurance tires. Would that be able to run at 50 PSI?
gac914 I run them at 65psi cold which is the recommendation. I’d certainly recommend them if nothing else for peace of mind. I always had that “feeling” that I should upgrade our tires. Westlakes didn’t fail on me but the stories you hear make you nervous.
What "letter ratings" were your Westlakes? Were they also a 65 PSI tire? If that's the case, sounds like I may have to replace rims, too, which I really don't want to do IF possible. . .!!

Late here but I hear the Goodyears have a very stiff sidewall. Did you notice that whilst towing?
New subscriber here, great video on these tires. I have a 2019 Grand Design Imagine 2250RK with Westlake tires as well. I am looking at replacing them with Goodyear Endurance tires as well. My trailer came with D rated tires, but I would like to upgrade to an E rated tire. That means going from a P205 to a P225 size. My existing rims should be able to handle the size upgrade. What do you think?

I had about 3000mils on my last rv with these tires and over 4000miles on my current set on my 5th wheel. They do well.
What tires do you use on your tow vehicle?
Right now I am in the stock Michelin's that came with the truck. I will say I am a Michelin guy. LT's or LTX's have been winners for me in the past.

@@WanderingWeekends Is the MAX pressure printed on your tires 65psi? The tires that came on my GD Reflection 5th wheel indicate MAX psi is 80. I've been thinking about keeping them at 75psi to allow for expansion while traveling. Thanks for your advice 😉

Still waiting for a review of this tire used to it's max duty cycle, it's not this review.
Running about 65mph pulling this trailer is almost 70% of it's max speed and load carrying capacity. Most china bombs will do this within the time frame in which you have owned them.
I want to see a review of max capacity, high speed and temperature for thousands of miles to see if this tire is worth triple the price of a zing zing ling long no name china tires.
You can run a set of Sailun S637s for 16” wheels or a set of Transeagle ST Radials for 15” wheels. They’re both commercial tires and come in Load Range G and F, 12 and 14 ply, very reasonably priced, and are made in China. I’d like to spend my money “locally,” but when the local tires last the same as the foreign tires, but cost twice as much,...that doesn’t make sense to me. Go over to www.RVnetwork.com. It’s an RV forum with a ton of knowledge and experience. Do a search on Sailun, and see if you can find anything negative about that tire. Before Sailun came out with a G rated 16” tire, the only thing that was available was the Goodyear G614s. And they were falling apart left and right, which left no confidence in the tire.
How are they holding up now? Just about to pull the trigger on a set for my camper.

@@WanderingWeekends I'm not having any problems with the westlakes but I'm pretty diligent about the tire pressure and temp (TPMS). They're about 4 years old now and maybe 20K miles total. We have an Imagine 2670MK and we're planning on towing it from MD to FL in the fall for the winter, the wheels and brakes will be 100% by then. Thanks for the info and update. Just made the appointment.
May wanna check the Michelin line too. I’ll be looking at them in a year or two.

The Westlake’s that came on my 2017 2600RB are still going strong after almost three years and 18,000 miles. They typically only need air in the Spring, and I limit my speed to 70mph.
