It's interesting how as humans we do everything in our power to survive and avoid early death, and yet Death is a natural and necessary part of our existence. I personally believe our mind lives on after physical death, hence Death to me is something I look forward to. Not because I am morbid , but because I know there is more to come. If you know this, Death no longer exists. Obviously our natural instinct is to survive due to evolution and the fact we don't want our family to watch us suffer , but ultimately there is no point fighting something that ultimately has to happen. This is why fighting things like cancer doesn't really achieve anything. Something else will take you from this world.
I kinda agree, but I guess this all depends on how much one enjoys/appreciates their life and the people they love in it. If someone is happy then why face the final curtain too early? From her initial cancer diagnosis in 1992 she lived another 30years. I would think most people would be very happy with that.
As a cancer survivor, that sounds like yet another dumb thing a person who has never faced a scary diagnosis like cancer. You don't know what you would decide to do, until you ACTUALLY have the diagnosis. Die if you want to, but I am a single mum of a boy who needed a parent , so I fought, I fought hard
@@andydixon2980 but I don't believe it's the "final curtain"...I believe consciousness is infinite .this is just one life time so to speak and we need to die to move on to other levels of existence.
Perhaps it was overlooked, as it was during her second bout of cancer, where she knew the end was near. Pls Give the benefit of the doubt, as this all occurred during Covid. The world was a mess of emotions! Olivia wouldn’t have made a big deal over that, she was courteous and polite always.
They said when she came into a room the place lit up as she was so happy, smiley, kind & gentle. She just drew people in & lifted them up.
She was beautiful inside and out. RIP
She really was...& will remain a beautiful soul ...x
She was a class act!
Olivia Newton John is so beautiful and missed so much 😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤and I'll always love her ❤️ 💕
Wow her eyes are still gorgeous. I loved the movie Grease but never really listened to her other music. Curious now to follow her career more!
She recorded like 400 songs, one of the singers with more recordings . One of the best singers ever and a songwriter too
REST IN PEACE MR PARKINSON and OLIVIA!
Please add the interview dates.
Be nice if there was a recording date on all of these.
What year is this . Wonderful Lady . ❤
2005 I think
Sweet Lady.....

Olivia Newton John's maternal grandfather was the very famous German Nobel Prize winning Physicist Max Born.
The send off ONJ got after her passing in Australia was huge, loving & wonderful. Alas Australian born Judith Durham of The Seekers did not!!!
When was this recorded?
This episode of Parkinson was recorded in 2005.
You uploaded a video of Cliff saying Sir Cliff Richard but you don't upload this one as Dame Olivia Newton-John, what a shame and sexism

Like us all, we die. Ironically both the interviewer and his guest are no longer with us.
What an odd first question… basically ‘do you like being known as bland’
