I saw a video once of an American man (I don’t know who he is) he was on a podium giving a meeting so someone important. He began by apologising for his lateness, his wife and son had literally just died in a car crash and his daughter was in critical condition. I couldn’t believe he was in work, that going to work was a priority for him. I really don’t get it, if he was in the UK he wouldn’t have been allowed to Step foot in work. I know, or I think i do, that work and making money is a big thing for Americans, but is this normal?

The American concept of bigger is better, is arrogant and ignorant. We work to live, we pay into a health system for everyone to use, our food and water is not pumped with chemicals, our live stock is healthier, we don't spray our crops with harmful chemicals. We also see our country is not the best in the world just different. Give me my way of life above any American.
I remember a boss I had saying something like "You Americans have it so good, with your low taxes on bonuses" and the answer was "Well, at least you *get* bonuses"
Thanks for your upload Island Girl, I am certain that many such as we have been doggy-paddling in recent years just trying to keep our heads above water. I'd kinda like to know where & when "they" assumed the authority to govern.
Yep, amazingly many Americans still believe they are taxed less than in many other Western Countries! Couldn't be further from the truth. Counting all taxes the average in the UK is 30% incl Free Health, Education and Benefits etc. The States it's 60% Average plus no med. Insurance welfare or benefits. The USA is one of the highest Taxed Countries in the World with some of the the least Benefits!
I was homeless, I had nothing to offer, always sleeping on the street, until Jesus sent me a friend who helped me... I got a job & was managing till I melt a friend who helped me introduce me to Mrs Kate Elizabeth Becherer She changed my life and now I have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... HALLELUJAH
I raised 75k and Kate Elizabeth Becherer is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York City
I know that woman (Kate Elizabeth Becherer) If you were born and raised in new York you'd know too, she's my family's Broker for 3yrs till now and a very good one if you asked me. No doubt she is a good woman.
I think its not so much americans think i want the freedom too i think its more i want too own a gun, i want too call you what i want , i want too discriminate against who i want ,the difference being in my opinion adding the word freedom is inclusive ,i want is exclusive its for me as an individual too have this and i will decide who else gets the same freedoms as me.
