    I respectfully disagree with the critical comments. Your instruction makes sense to me. I didn't realize the chords were so simple. Should work for anyone who gives it a chance. You've got the heart of a teacher my man. Thanks for posting.

      yes, chord progression D aka D Bm G A in the right places. For the chorus the inversion is Bm G D A

      davy hawk D, but he still uses a capo on the 7th fret, but without a capo would be D,Bm,G,and A.

    this is in the key of D not G.

      He's playing in the key of D, but is using G shapes, I prefer open over putting a capo on 2 or 7 tho.
