For the finger picking:
You start with a G chord shape: use your thumb to pick the base string and then use your 1st finger to pick the g string. Then use 2nd finger to pick b string then use the 1st finger again on the g string. Now you switch to the C chord shape and do the same thing except that the base note is on the a string. Then switch to the D chord and you finger pick that one two times.
If it helps, you should hear 4 plucks switch to C, 4 plucks, switch to D, 8 plucks. There's many ways to explain but I hope that helps.

The first bridge sounds like C followed by a D/C (D with a C in the bass) in capo 4. In concert pitch that would be E followed by an F#/E. The lead guitar plays F# (11th fret) on the 3rd string and D# (11th fret) on the 1st for the last two beats of that bridge.

Hi, that's a capo. It changes the key of the song as you slide it up and down the guitar. It sounds great with it on. Give it a try. good luck
