  • Guitar tutorial: lead guitar cover lesson for One Thing Remains by Kristian Stanfill. This is how I play this at our church. For what it's worth... (As you can see, we play the radio cut arrangement...) The first half is a playthrough; individual parts with close-ups follow starting at about 3:55.
The glory is His, the gift is the original artist's, the clumsiness is mine...
"[M]usicians ... stood on the east side of the altar playing cymbals and stringed instruments. They were joined by 120 priests sounding trumpets. The trumpeters and musicians joined in unison to give praise and thanks to the Lord..., the singers raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang: 'He is good; his faithful love endures forever.' At that moment, a thick cloud filled the temple of the Lord. The priests could not continue the service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the House of God." -- 2 Chronicles 5, 11-14

Excellent man. I just discover your channel and subscribed. I've played electric guitar for 30 years and P&W for about the last 10. I grew up playing classic rock, so it's been mostly open and bar chords. I really working to get better with alternate chords and P&W lead lines. Keep up the great videos.

Thanks for the kind words, friend. Yah, I've only been playing P&W for about 5 years. It takes a little while to get used to the different chord voicings, the pedal settings, some different techniques (like tremolo picking or octaves), but with some practice, you can get the hang of it in not too long if you are experienced with another genre. Keep on playing!

I wish every tutorial would also include which key you are playing in. Not every church will do it in your key. Thank you.

+Sojourn .sixtysix Thanks for the feedback. Good suggestion. As for the videos already posted, they all are in the original recording key. So a little googling or Praise Charting should yield the answer quickly... :-)
