TMP Manufacturing Plant Tour and Meet-and-Greet with TMP Officials 8/22/2023

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visits the automotive manufacturing plant of Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) and the manual transmission plant of Toyota Aisin Philippines (TAP) at the Toyota Special Economic Zone in Santa Rosa City, Laguna on August 22, 2023.
Toyota Motors Corporation (TMC) Chairman Akio Toyoda, along with TMP's local officials led by Chairman Alfred V. Ty, welcomes the President for a tour of the facilities.
These world-class facilities showcase the technologies and highly-skilled workforce that are currently producing two local models: the Vios and Innova. Soon, they will be producing the next generation Tamaraw - Toyota's PhP4.4 billion investment recently approved by the Philippine government.
After the tour, the President holds a meet-and-greet session and a private meeting with the TMC and TMP officials.
The President's visit coincides with the 35th anniversary of TMP operations in the country which began in 1988. Over three (3) decades, TMP has reached significant milestones in vehicle production and sales, as well as fulfilling its mission to be a major contributor to national development as a mobility company.
