I love my city. Dispite of what you hear in the news Chicago is a beautiful city. I’m born & raised here. I’ve been all over this city and I’ve met a lot of different people. Wouldn’t wanna live any other place but Chicago.

Eddy Eddy yeah it’s getting too expensive, traffic is horrible and the weather sucks. Plus crime is rising in the south side, but there are so many positives to the city. Always something to do, something to see, amazing food, etc etc etc. Love Chicago and if the state government fixes these problems, there isn’t a city like it anywhere in the world.

Chicago my hometown looks dead empty man i miss been in the beach it use to be crowded and it was fun been around my Friends having fun and enjoying our life hopefully this crisis ends soon and Chicago comes back to life i just can't believe that how downtown and beach's are empty😢😢😢 it's just sad

My real younger brother lives in Chicago from 13 years.. Now a days serving as a gnm over a hospital there.. He has 25 patients under his supervison. I never was so away from him.. Now it is like he is on moon.. But yes! I am proud of him.. He is serving his residence country dedicatedly as a war front....

As a student studying at Purdue, I used to at times visit Chicago. Such wonderful memories came flooding in.
40 years ago I was in Chicago, what a different city.

I was there in Feb of '03, but haven't lived and driven there since the 80's. WOW LSD is beautiful the way they fixed the S curve!
blowing trees There is actually something different and it is the vista towers. They are the 3 blue curvy towers. I think construction is almost complete with them now.
Everyone is inside, so no traffic or crowds. Plus the music sets a tone along with the drone footage. .. if really interested look into who invested and built buildings in that time you’ve been gone.

Born and raised in Chicago. Lived there for 25 years. Even worked in the Willis Tower for 2 years. Unfortunately high property taxes and lack of job growth lead time to move. But love the city and have a lot of memories there.

Downtown Chicago is pretty empty but if you go to the neighborhoods they are as busy and crowded with cars and people as usual and i sometimes makes me wonder if the lockdown has been lifted...

Don't know about anyone else but it'll be uncomfortable seeing lots of people walking around again after being used to all the quiet emptiness.
I live near Seattle and I went to Chicago for a week in August 2017. Absolutely amazing city, would definitely consider moving out there to the Naperville area sometime in the next 10 years. Hopefully things return to normal there soon.

I am a delivery driver in Chicago and am in the Loop every day. The only people left down there are a few "Necessary" workers and the Homeless. Chicago is a great City with a ton of problems. Hopefully we come out of this a better, and a much fairer city than we were before.
