@@robertsmith3883 I’m sure people said RIP to actors that did pass away when it happened, but time has passed since then. I’m also sure that later in the century, those who watch these films will not be going “RIP Robbie”. Since his death was so recent, it affects us most
Draco's line, "I didn't know you could read" was ad libbed because the actor forgot his line... but it was so damn funny and in character, they kept it
Fun fact. Spiders fear the Basilisk because Spiders see in all directions and don't have eyelids. They cannot close their eyes. It makes sense they'd fear a creature that kills by looking in the eye.
A huge part of the reason Harry is so reluctant to tell adults the truth (even someone like Dumbledore) is because he’s been punished for exactly that his entire life by the only parental figures he’s ever known. The Dursleys made it so Harry is pretty good at improvising lies and is very hesitant to trust. The only people he fully trusts at this point are Ron, Hermione and Hagrid.

@@holddowna Ginny Weasley she later becomes Harry's wife, they always had a strong connection and marry and have three children. Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley have a strong connection and marry and have two children.
Fun fact Daniel Radcliff adlibbbed that line in Dumbledore's office "Don't worry, I will be." to Lucius. That line amused the director and Lucius' actor. Also the curse Lucius tried to cast on Harry at the end was the Killing Curse "Avada Kedavra", which is change from the books that I don't like. I mean what was Lucius going to do after he killed a student on Hogwarts grounds?
Lucius' actor said in an interview that they told him to curse Harry but didn't tell him an actual curse to say. He asked a camera guy before the scene who only knew Avada-Cadavra. He didn't know it was The Killing Curse.
I mean, he was a death eater so, I presyme by doing so, he would have seen it as removing Harry Potter from the equation and ensuring the Dark Lord's rise. I don't think he would really care.
@@ntnegative I don't agree. First he would have gone to Azkaban. Second, his whole family would have been disgraces by the community if he killed Harry Potter. Lucius would never kill Harry in this situation.
@@Deathbird_Mitch He didn't ask a camera man, he had read the books himself. The script said he began reciting a curse but he hadn't thought to discuss which curse before shooting the scene, so he ad-libbed the first curse that came to mind.
I don't mind the change because it shows Lucius's true colours for a moment, in a situation where it makes sense for him to slip up. Harry had just plainly called out his awareness of Lucius's ties to Voldemort, and although Lucius is used to pretending otherwise, he's not pretending when he doesn't have to, i.e. around family and friends, so with no one present but Harry, who sees right through him but can't do anything about it, he wouldn't be too careful about keeping up appearances. He's already suppressing anger because he feels humiliated and ridiculed, and then Harry tops that by tricking him into freeing his family's servant, which causes him to see red. With his guard about his true colours already being down, and then seeing red, he loses composure and acts on instinct, not stopping to think about the consequences. Then he gets knocked back and immediately comes to his senses and composes himself. It wasn't scripted, but I think it's very in-character *and* works very well to establish him as a fearsome villain whom we fully expect to prove a formidable foe in the future, making his eventual fall from grace within Death Eater ranks so much more impactful.
Growing up in a broken home, and spending all my time at my friends instead on my home, and his parents knowing why, and still never turning me away and in fact welcoming me lin ike family. Regardless of how hard they were struggling, it makes me love the Weasleys, especially the mom and dad. They take care of Harry no matter what, because they're cut from a superior cloth than regular people
Two points to make about Gildroy Lockheart, I love that every spell sounds like a latin or otherwise root word having to do with something about the spell, but every single spell that Gildroy casts sounds like someone attempting to speak spanish who obviously doesn't speak it. Braky-arm, elmendo! LOL Also I love that when snape says "lets teach them to block unfriendly spells" Gildroy says "yes that's a good idea" then immediately pulls students up to duel without teaching them how to block spells.
I'm not exactly sure how Dumbledore could see them through the invisibility cloak, but i think it's because he's super attuned to magic and it takes more than that to fool him.
Ya! I also think (haven’t read the books so what do I know) but he seems aware of his surroundings/picks up on Hagrids behaviour. Maybe he saw the extra tea cups or something and had a sense? He seems like he’s been around a long time and knows a thing or two LOL I just love him!
I speculate that he didn't see them directly, but he knew Harry has the cloak, that Harry was friends with Hagrid and that they weren't allowed to wonder around and that Harry would be under the cloak if surprised at someone coming. He probably also saw the extra tea sets and how Hagrid was behaving and deduced Harry was there under the cloak
@@holddowna Dumbledore had borrowed that cloak from james potter and was studying it before giving it to harry in last movie....plus he can feel the magic and the potraits and ghosts in the school also report to him so he probably knew harry was there
@@holddowna Dumbledore is an extremely gifted wizard, it was explained that he's able to cast some spells without using his voice and his wand. In this case he used silently used "homenum revelio", which is a spell that allows to detect people in proximity that aren't protected by very powerful magic. He was able to detect their presence under the cloak.
It really is crazy. I don’t think there’s anything in the entire movie that she didn’t call immediately. Like literally no time. When she met a new character she right away called out their whole story. She even knew stuff that shouldn’t even be known without already watching it which is kinda crazy. She didn’t even have to watch the movies tbh as she already knew EXACTLY what happened
Just learned this cool thing about Richard Harris and Fawkes. Turns out he thought it was a real bird and would interact with it when alone on set. The animatronics guys played along and the truth was never revealed to Harris. Kinda magical.
It is so fun to watch these with you!! Your empathy and your ability to figure things out, plus your intuition with some things is so awesome. I can't wait for the next one already.
I agree! She's very insightful! I love that she reacts but doesn't talk over too much. A lot of reactors talk over so much that they miss important dialogue or elements. She picks up on the important details. It's so fun to watch someone new discover this incredible franchise!
You think?! She frigging 'guessed' it _before_ it even happened! 😄 Did that again actually with the diary replies, before it even happened, so yeah she's at least a bit too keen on being clever, for sure 🙄
It is so refreshing to see someone have sympathy for Dobby. I've been honestly shocked at how many people acknowledge that's enslaved and perpetually traumatized, but when he self-harms they're like "Ugh, that's so weird, he's crazy and so annoying, he's TOXIC," and... wow. Thank you for all you do!
There's a lot more house-elf shenanigans in the future books (specifically starting in book 4) that the movies never have enough time to dig into if you ever choose to read the books. 🙂 Glad you're enjoying the series so far.
@@holddowna The audiobooks, read by Stephen Fry, are also really good. I wholeheartedly recommend them should you choose that route to get into the books.
Fun fact: Skele gro potion was created by Harry's Ancestors.....It's part of the reason why his family is so rich. They never really mention this in the movies or tell you how harry has so much gold.
Yes.. but it was Harry's grandfather Fleamont (James's dad) who quadrupled the family gold by creating Sleekeazy's Hair Potion. It's the same potion Hermione uses in Goblet (the book) to tame her curls!
you watching these movies and figuring things out before they happen feels so great cuz most people i know dont understand the movies after watching them several times lol. youre so smart
One of many facts about this movie: when the image of Lucius Malfoy was in development, at first he was to have short black-and-white hair and wear a pinstriped suit (like a gangster), but then the dandy-ish style won. Also, Jason Isaacs (the role performer) always kept his chin up so that the hair would stay perfectly straight, and it provided the required snobby vibe
@@holddowna Anytime. And you really should read the books, cuz the movies... well, they're just scratching on the surface, although it's mostly due to time limits. For instance, Mr. Weasley is genuinely impressed by Muggles and their technologies ("no wonder they had to think of all that with no magic"), and in the movie, it was shown through his question about the rubber duck (in fact, the performer was to ask the most absurd question he could think of, and this option was selected as a result)
Glad you love actress Miriam Margolyes (Professor Pomona Sprout). Beside being the Herbology teacher she is Head of Hufflepuff House just as McGonagall is for Gryffindor and Snape is for Slytherin. Unfortunetely, her character got cut for the rest of the movies and is back until the last one but she has no dialogue or very notable participation
Ever wonder why Hermione knows so much about the wizarding world, e.g. knowing a foul word like, “mudblood”. It’s simple. She’s been given lines in the films others, namely Ron, had in the books because something tells me that no matter how many books she reads she won’t find one that’ll explain uncouth slang. ;-b
Yes but also in the future movies they do ron dirty as he knew so much about customs as well as other key stuff. In the books he wasn’t bumbling ! 30 min video titled Rob wasn’t dumb. ;)
Omg I just discovered your channel and I just love your personnality, you seem so involved in these reactions. Glad to see that you are genuinely enjoying HP, it will only get better and better. P.S: I'm so relieved to see someone cry during Hagrid-Harry scene at the end ! I thought I was the only.
One thing the movies skipped out on is, socks being Dobby’s favourite piece of clothing from that point onwards. The best possible Christmas gift for him was… well, socks. Actually, the movies skipped out on Dobby in general.
In the book, the howler was even worse. It was so loud that it shook dust from the Great Hall's ceiling, and was reverberating so much in the hall that they couldn't even hear everything it said, and if I remember correctly it spontaneously combusted instead of shredding itself
The amount of improv in this movie is wild, I see some are mentioned but there was also Lucius kicking the air at the end which the director thought would be perfect to add Dobby to it
Dobby is a HUGE reason why I look down upon the movie versions of the Harry Potter books. His role(s) are drastically cut from the films vs. the books. If you haven’t read the books, I HIGHLY recommend them, but definitely watch the movies before reading the corresponding book. That way you aren’t disappointed in what you’re watching and they can stand on their own. And reading the books will be like stumbling upon a treasure trove of “bonus scenes” a more flushed out plot(s). And if you’d rather listen to the books, the Jim Dale narrates are spectacular!
Thanks for this comment! Someone has mentioned the audio books being awesome! I’m not sure I do love reading! But I will read after the series for sure!
Tbh, I prefer the Jim Dale rendition, and I can't tell if it's because I grew up with that one, or if I actually think it's better. I got about halfway through the Fry version and had to switch. Fry IS good, but I think Dale does a better job of differentiating the characters based on voice. IMHO, of course.
Whichever version you prefer, they’re all pretty good. As for the British vs. American version: the British version will include more British-isms such as “cinema” instead of “movie theatre”, which isn’t difficult to translate, but can anyone tell me what a “skip” is? In the British telling it is used in lieu of “dumpster”. So unless you’re up on British English, you might want to go with Jim Dale’s narration. But don’t worry. It’s not completely void of British terms. You’ll get plenty of “git’s, prat’s, row’s” and other rubbish, ;-)
This was a fun reaction! Thanks for that! If I may give you a suggestion for the next movie: In the scores at the end, there is a hidden Easter egg. Starting at 2 hours, 19 minutes and 51 seconds, you want to look closely at the lower left corner. Replay it, if you have to. That’s all, I’m saying.
Thats so disturbing for me that so many of them are not with us anymore :( I used to watch these movies thousands of times when everybody were fine and alive. I remember when I was so affraid that Maggie Smith who plays McGonnagall will not make it till the saga ends. She was already quite old and not healthy looking expecially when they were shooting episode 6. And then shes still alive but so many other great people not like Dumbledor from first 2 movies, uncle Vernon, Hagrid, Snape uhhh thats so sad :(
Kenneth Branagh who plays the new professor of the dark arts is an amazing actor going back to the 80s film Chariots of Fire, he's won numerous awards and is a tremendous Shakespearean actor receiving awards for his portrayal of Hamlet and Henry the V, his most recent endeavor is portraying Hercule Poirot in the remakes of the Agatha Christie adaptations, which he also directs.

Re Dumbledore and his ability to see through the Invisibility cloak - we need to remember that the cloak was in Dumbledore's possession for about twelve years, so he could easily have figured out a way to become aware of it...
It's so refreshing to see how compassionate and empathetic you are as a reactor! The entire slytherin-gryffindor rivalry, a major force in the book, stems from the time one arsehole Slytherin committed a quidditch foul against McGonnogal when she was a teenager

What's funny, when Jason Isaacs (the actor who plays Lucius Malfoy) did the motion of kicking Dobby down the steps, the director asked if he was okay, thinking he had tripped. When asked what he did, Isaacs laughed and said "I was kicking Dobby down the stairs." It wasn't in the script, he just thought that Lucius is such a jerk, that he would do something that cruel. They loved the idea and kept it in the movie. Funnily enough, from this movie onward, in ever appearance of Lucius Malfoy in the books, J.K. Rowling based Lucius Malfoy on Jason Isaacs' portrayal of the character as he kind of did his own thing, while also adapting the character in the books all at the same time. Just goes to show how awesome of an actor he is :D
Durring the scene in Dumbledore's office at the end the actor who played Lucious Malfoy said he got chills from Daniel Radcliff's acting when he improvised the line "Don't worry, I will be" You know a child actor is amazing when they give a veteran a run for their money

I know that you probably understand most of what happened but here's some more info. -Dobby visiting Harry was against his master's wishes so he had to punish himself. That's also why he wouldn't explicitly tell Harry what was happening. -Technically Ron's dad did the magic on the car. -Muggle Borns are as named, they have non magical parents but usually one or both of those parents are squib descendents of magical families. Squibs are the opposite. Muggles born into magical families. Filch the caretaker is a squib. -The weasley siblings are Ginny, Ron, Fred, George, Percy, Charlie, and Bill. -Dumbledore's phoenix was one of the only known domesticated phoenixes at the time. Legend said that a Phoenix would appear to any member of the Dumbledore family in dire need. They're extremely loyal and only leave once the owner has died. Great reaction and I'm looking forward to the rest.
Just to add to apatternedhorizon (s) note on the Weasley’s car, any inanimate object can be imbued with magic, usually using ancient runes or enchanting, allowing it to become a magical object. Such objects don’t require the use of a wand to use their magical properties, thus an underaged witch or wizard won’t get into trouble for using underage magic. Another example would be Hagrid’s flying motorbike or Tom Riddle’s diary.
@@bobbyclarkston8836 That's almost correct, but to further clarify: First of all there are stages to magical usage and young practitioners start off using wands only as a focusing instrument to hone both their usage and aim of impact for any type of mysticism. Magical practice without wands can be divided into multiple areas such as SPOKEN (use of audible voice often spoken in early versions of ancient Hebrew, Greek or Roman style Latin, etc.), MATERIAL (usage of mineral compounds mixed either by manual or magical means, can be either liquid, solid or gaseous), MOTION (used by physical gestures or posturing (sometimes combined with speech)) and MIND or THOUGHT (casting spells or incantations using one's inner voice without the need for audible language or instrumentation, such as a wand). Second, runes are only used for locations, not invocation. I think you may have meant to say "ritualistic rites or chants" as these are meant to harness mystical energy into inanimate objects. Third, Enchantments on objects cannot be controlled at will and their abilities are always active. Thus enchanting is usually done to simplistic things such as the Weasley family clock (which never stops telling the status and/or location of the family's members). Another usage would be protective spells and/or incantations such as the ones protecting Hogwarts from being seen or detected by muggles. I believe what you are referring to is not an enchantment, but an imbuement or what is more commonly known as a "triggered Jynx or activated Charm." By citing trigger conditionals during invocation one can specifically designate what controls what mystical power or property and bind it to certain specific materials and/or physical objects. For example, the invisibility booster on the Weasley's car being activated by the push button on the car's dashboard when Harry told Ron, "most muggles are not accustomed to seeing a flying car."
I can say this now because I see you have the last movie reaction out so it doesnt count as spoilers anymore. They way you immediately called both couples, with ron and hermione in the last video and harry and ginny in this one. *chefs kiss*
On “blood types” it gets kinda complex but the general idea is that pure bloods don’t have any “non-magical” blood aka muggle ancestry (which a lot of them lie about), muggleborns aka “mudbloods” Don’t have any traceable magical ancestry, and half blood is usually a term used for anyone with mixed magical ancestry but usually implies one magic and one muggle or muggleborn parent. Ron’s pure blood, Hermione is muggle born, and Harry is half blood bc his dad was pure blood and his mom was muggle born. Like Hagrid said “most wizards are half bloods now” and that includes Dumbledore and Voldemort two of the most powerful wizards. Hagrid would be considered half-breed since he’s half giant.
First, great reaction, I can’t wait to see the next film reactions. Second, you’ve probably already been informed about the idea of the term “Mudblood”. There is another term used against wizards or witches like the Weasley family or even Harry himself; the term is “Blood Traitors”. The term applies to any wizard or witch who were associated with any forms of Muggles, like the Weasley family being friends with Hermione’s family or Harry’s dad who was a pure blood marrying Harry’s mother who was a Muggle-born or even the Founders of Hogwarts who rejected the ideology of pure blood supremacy by Salazar. Those who were considered blood traitors were usually disowned by their families. However during the First Wizarding War, those who were blood traitors were tortured or killed. Hagrid was always my favorite character, so now his moment in the film hits harder now. 🧑🏻🪄🐍🧔🏻♀️🌂
I know it's been a few months since you watched the movies, I really do hope you check out the books! The books have so much more in them, especially after book 2, and Harry's internal dialogue is so sassy and adorable, so much more character building for side characters like Neville, Luna, the Twins, Charlie Weasley, etc. Just, overall, a wonderful experience. I just started re-reading them last week again after 15 years and I'm loving it just as much as the first time.
Through this whole movie series , you call out every single bit of the story and people’s characters. Not once are you wrong , not even when you’re supposed to be. It’s honestly crazy. I don’t understand how it’s possible for you to figure out stuff that’s not even able to be figured out yet with the information given but you just so happen to already know it ALL. Literally not one twist wasn’t called out the SECOND you met the character. People watch these movies 10 times over and still don’t know it as well as you did before ever watching it once.
I have no idea? Because I didn’t even know what I was saying. I was thinking out loud and maybe just based on other stories I have seen I just saw similarities …I def don’t guess right in the series and have some epic blunders which is kinda hilarious to watch. I was so invested in these movies! I’m such a Potter head now! Finishing book 5!
New to your channel...so glad you're watching Harry Potter. Personally, I think they get better with each movie, ending with the best one of them all. Yes, my favorite movie of the series is DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2. You will absolutely love it.
I love how they made Fawkes look. Such a gorgeous looking legendary bird. Also, I always fucking cringe when the Basilisk's fang gets embedded in Harry's forearm when he stabs it with the Sword of Godric Gryffindor. And when Lockhart asks Harry if he could think of any better detention, I always think that I'd much rather polish the trophies in the trophy room than be anywhere near him.
If you do not have the time or patience to read the books. listening to the audiobooks is a fantastic way to experience them. I prefer Stephen Fry’s narration much more than others and recommend it especially
Great reaction. It's like watching the movie with a friend. Hagrid: "better out than in". Shreck: better out than in, I always say." Lol! I'm inclined to think that maybe your husband got that line from Shreck. The context is quite different and more likely a reason for a guy to reference it. Lol. I used to say it to my kids all the time. "Dad! That's gross!" LOL! I miss my kids being little. "But only Harry can bring balance to the force." That's hilarious because it's so spot on. I'd never thought of it that way before, but it is so fitting. The characters are so easy to become attached to. You literally watch these kids grow up in this series. And the kids' friendship/bond just gets stronger with each movie. They really go through so much together and they always have each other's backs through it all. I believe Ron was drawn to Hermione from the start. He treats her badly in the beginning as a way to hide that. In this show, you start to see how much he actually respects her. She's such a brilliant kid, as you'll see. Dobby is an amazing character. I got an orange tabby a few years after this movie. My kids were excited, and I asked them to help me name her. I suggested Dobby, and they were all immediately in favor of it. That last scene with Hagrid hits hard. The acting in this is just fantastic, especially from the kids. Anyway... sorry for the long comment. Hasta La Vista, Baby!
Yeah, I cried four times this movie, and I’m a 30 something man. Once, when Hermione was petrified, once when Ginny was taken, and once each at their safety. Hagrid coming back just put a smile on my face, bigger than the last two., RIP, Richard and Robbie. The franchise will always miss you.

This is quite a cool movie! Probably the thing that has puzzled me the most of about it and the book too how exactly the basilisk got around. Even though it is determine that it used the plumbing, that only seems to explain how Harry was able to heart it speak in the walls. It Some have said that even that explanation doesn't make sense, since the basilisk is larger than the average pipe, but that can easily be explained by the fact that the pipes in the castle are probably generally quite large, similar to the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. It's also possible that since the schools is enchanted, the pipes can change size when necessary. However, what the plumbing explanation leaved up to our imagination is what it did to get out and petrify the students, as none of them were petrified inside or near a pipe. So it makes me wonder if it's possible that it got into the corridors whenever muggle born students were the only ones in them and unaccompanied by staff, and by did so by using the sinks and/or toilets of the castle's bathrooms. My guess is that it mostly just used the pluming in the walls to get around the school during its free time when the halls didn't have muggle borns who were out in them by themselves. Some people who have similar theory have pointed out that further proof that is likely what happened is that when Justin Finch-Fletchley and Nearly Headless Nick were petrified, there was a visible slimy trail on the ground right nearby that was the shape and size of the basilisk. If this theory is correct, I think it would've been really interesting if the movie had shown the basilisk lurking in the corridors at least once, preferably shortly after they discovered that the monster was indeed a basilisk

"There's no Hogwarts without you, Hagrid" is so much more emotional since the passing of Robbie Coltrane. RIP big fella.
Awww
Growing up in a broken home, and spending all my time at my friends instead on my home, and his parents knowing why, and still never turning me away and in fact welcoming me lin ike family. Regardless of how hard they were struggling, it makes me love the Weasleys, especially the mom and dad. They take care of Harry no matter what, because they're cut from a superior cloth than regular people

Two points to make about Gildroy Lockheart,
I love that every spell sounds like a latin or otherwise root word having to do with something about the spell, but every single spell that Gildroy casts sounds like someone attempting to speak spanish who obviously doesn't speak it. Braky-arm, elmendo! LOL
Also I love that when snape says "lets teach them to block unfriendly spells" Gildroy says "yes that's a good idea" then immediately pulls students up to duel without teaching them how to block spells.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love when he says “prrrrreeetty obvious” i die each time
That was such a great cut, "I'm just waiting for Dobby to show up..." "HELLO!" 🙂
Rowling answered that question, she said that Dumbledore cast homenum revelio non-verbally
Love how you were just calling everything out correctly even before the obvious clues 🤣👏🏻👌🏻

@@JbBackFeeble Yeah, I was feeling suspicious from the first movie when she was in Diagon Alley and knew the actor was called "Daniel Radcliffe".

That scene where she says is dobby gonna stop them from crossing the barrier at platform made me sus that she watched the movie before
You think?! She frigging 'guessed' it _before_ it even happened! 😄
Did that again actually with the diary replies, before it even happened, so yeah she's at least a bit too keen on being clever, for sure 🙄
Harry ad libbed the line "I will be" after Malfoy said, "hopefully Harry will be here to always save the day"
So good
And Lucius ad libbed kicking dobby. The director yelled cut for someone to wipe down the floor
Aww thanks Tommy!! I love Dobby
"Only Harry can bring balance to the force" haha Love the reactions, Ames! Keep it up. 👍
🤣thanks for watching TonyMacaronee!! Happy your enjoying!
There's a lot more house-elf shenanigans in the future books (specifically starting in book 4) that the movies never have enough time to dig into if you ever choose to read the books. 🙂 Glad you're enjoying the series so far.
Will read the books for sure! Thanks for watching!

@@holddowna if you do get around to reading the books it would be fun seeing your thoughts after each book and comparing them to the movies.

Jim Dale reads the American editions of the audio books.
Fun fact: Skele gro potion was created by Harry's Ancestors.....It's part of the reason why his family is so rich. They never really mention this in the movies or tell you how harry has so much gold.
WOW cool!
Yes.. but it was Harry's grandfather Fleamont (James's dad) who quadrupled the family gold by creating Sleekeazy's Hair Potion. It's the same potion Hermione uses in Goblet (the book) to tame her curls!
you watching these movies and figuring things out before they happen feels so great cuz most people i know dont understand the movies after watching them several times lol. youre so smart
Hold Down A: "I'm just waiting for Dobby to show back up"
Dobby: "Hello!"
My favorite scene is when Dobby strikes back at Malfoy at the end of the film. I felt so happy for him.
I was so happy for him! He’s strong! Can’t wait to learn more about his powers!!
Love this fun fact! Thanks for sharing!
Also, this is the only film of the series to have a post credit scene!!
The painting of lockhart painting himself is too funny
Glad you love actress Miriam Margolyes (Professor Pomona Sprout). Beside being the Herbology teacher she is Head of Hufflepuff House just as McGonagall is for Gryffindor and Snape is for Slytherin. Unfortunetely, her character got cut for the rest of the movies and is back until the last one but she has no dialogue or very notable participation
Utilizing that actress would have been awesome especially at the final film ❤❤❤
Ever wonder why Hermione knows so much about the wizarding world, e.g. knowing a foul word like, “mudblood”. It’s simple. She’s been given lines in the films others, namely Ron, had in the books because something tells me that no matter how many books she reads she won’t find one that’ll explain uncouth slang. ;-b
Yes but also in the future movies they do ron dirty as he knew so much about customs as well as other key stuff. In the books he wasn’t bumbling ! 30 min video titled Rob wasn’t dumb. ;)

Oh my god you got me rolling with the Ace Ventura chitty chitty bang bang. That movie is severely underrated and endlessly quotable.
The amount of improv in this movie is wild, I see some are mentioned but there was also Lucius kicking the air at the end which the director thought would be perfect to add Dobby to it
Nice to see you again!! I love so much to share this reactions with you!!

I agree, tho I would recommend the Stephen Fry narration (British), Jim dale is the American one, FYI :)
Stephen fry’s narration is by far better
Oh wow, emotional. Bet a big box of tissues for the rest...lol!

FYI, the actor who played Gilderoy Lockheart is a famous director/actor who directed Thor among other movies.
And then shes still alive but so many other great people not like Dumbledor from first 2 movies, uncle Vernon, Hagrid, Snape uhhh thats so sad :(
"Harrys got a really good grip" all that time spent locked under the stairs :P
Fun fact: Rupert Grint(Ron) is deathly afraid of spiders in real life, so filming the Aragog scenes were difficult for him to film.
Wow!!
I love that you noticed Harry didn't cast any spells in the first movie. I didn't realize that until long after the movies came out!

Durring the scene in Dumbledore's office at the end the actor who played Lucious Malfoy said he got chills from Daniel Radcliff's acting when he improvised the line "Don't worry, I will be"

Thanks For Watching!
@@bobbyclarkston8836 That's almost correct, but to further clarify:
First of all there are stages to magical usage and young practitioners start off using wands only as a focusing instrument to hone both their usage and aim of impact for any type of mysticism.
I believe what you are referring to is not an enchantment, but an imbuement or what is more commonly known as a "triggered Jynx or activated Charm."
By citing trigger conditionals during invocation one can specifically designate what controls what mystical power or property and bind it to certain specific materials and/or physical objects.

The last ten minutes or so of the last movie ruined it for me. I much much prefer the book version
I love how they made Fawkes look. Such a gorgeous looking legendary bird. Also, I always fucking cringe when the Basilisk's fang gets embedded in Harry's forearm when he stabs it with the Sword of Godric Gryffindor. Great reaction. It's like watching the movie with a friend.
Hagrid: "better out than in".
Shreck: better out than in, I always say."
Lol!

You've seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang? That was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre. I still sing "You're My Chutchy Face" to my dogs to this day.
With Hagrid, the cuter the name of the pet the more horrifying it is, usually. In this case Aragog is a surprisingly appropriate name for one of his animal friends.
"It's not Hogwarts without you, Hagrid" just hit so much differently now. RIP Robbie Coltrane.
I never had cable as a kid til we got older so I lived off VHS’ like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Sound of Music, Star Wars, teenage mutant ninja turtles:secret of the ooze, and tons of Disney Classics like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Cinderella!
"Oh my God its going into the forbidden woods" I was lmao when you said that!
🤣🤣🤣😅
HDA: "Is it a phoenix?"
Fawkes: _bursts into flames_
HDA: _is confused, somehow_
LoL. Youd think I’d know better.. especially being a Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix fanatic
If this theory is correct, I think it would've been really interesting if the movie had shown the basilisk lurking in the corridors at least once, preferably shortly after they discovered that the monster was indeed a basilisk
last reactor who I saw watching these movies didn't see any conection between Harru and Ginny, I love that you do.
ALWAYS looking for the tell, when Lucious Malfoy sneakes Tom Riddle's diary into the pot of Ginny's cauldroun in diagon alley.. If a reactor cathes it, im HELLA sus....
