5: Bandolier (Extra hand is amazing, especially to use a 2H Weapon and a utility item) 4: Machete (Almost always +1 Damage, always +1 Fist, cheap to play, no ammo) 3: Well Prepared (Sometimes your deck hates you. Being able to search for your weapon at low cost is huge.) 2: Grete (+1 Fist of Beat Cop, but also lets you get clues for defeating enemies, such a huge bonus) 1: Vicious Blow (Great in just about any deck even thinking about hitting enemies, and can be added to an ally’s check. Also free.) First time commenting, thank you for all the introductory videos making it easier to get into this game. Super helpful, and entertaining along the way.
Beat cop being a pseudo ward of protection for 2+2 damages and a fraction of an enemy health or a crypt chill sacrifice is just. Peak reasoning. I love it and it makes so much sense and I love it
Great video. Commenting my own list for the algorithm without becoming youtube disagreement guy. I excluded Runic Axe for not really being lv0. Though if the card existed without the upgrade sheet as just a lv0 card it would have made my top 5. 5. "Let me handle this!" 4. Stand Together 3. Tetsuo Mori 2. Vicious Blow 1. Prepared for the Worst
Bryn would use his top 5 to grief Travis. Number 1 worst card: Vicious Blow. It's one card for one damage. You can punch things for 0 cards and 1 damage. Also, play something like a Machete and you get a free +1 damage on many of your attacks, anyway.
But there are so manyl Guardian is a class full of add-mores and buffing doo-dads. A Guardian skill card that gives a +2 fight, +1 damage if you "attack an enemy 2 spaces away currently engaged with an investigator"... yeah, FFG will publish that by 2026 at the latest. Then the 2XP version will give +3 fight +2 damage if you "attack any enemy currently engaged with an investigator at any location but your own."
Ward of protection makes sense for scientific measurements or events evaluation but for practical day to day measurements or valuing assets the cthonian stone scale is more appropriate
Here are my five. They’re really basic. 45 Automatic/Machete (standard great melee/ranged weapon) Bandolier (an extra hand slots is great) Geared Up (I love it in parallel Daisy) Stand Together (Guardians like economy) Vicious Blow (one extra damage that can be passed on to anyone)
Ope list of 5: 5. Grete Wagner 4. Steadfast 3. Breach the Door 2. Take the Initiative 1. Teamwork The double book on Glory is probably for if there’s no enemies 🫣
Why is it beneficial for some of the cards to be Practiced? Is there a card that lets you search for Practiced cards in your deck that I am failing to recall?
@@PlayingBoardGames damn, still haven’t bought that expansion. I bought just the campaign cards on ebay back in the old days and never scored the player cards. It’s on my list!
I feel like dynamite blasting yourself with yorick seems pretty reasonable:D can just put the dmg on a coat or assets snd kkill them, you get them back by killing shit with dynamite anyway 😂
I don't actually like cards that are action neutral and don't do anything special in this game. Glory is an resource and a card for 2 cards and nothing else. It doesn't make it bad, but I wouldn't include it over something else.
"Feet have toes" I'm learning so much thank you 🙏

A good list video would be ranking all the Asset rewards from the standalone scenarios.
“Scene of the crime I’m about to commit” when talking about the skill icons made me laugh out loud. Really underrated joke.

4. Stand Together
3. Tetsuo Mori
2. Vicious Blow
1. Prepared for the Worst
Next list: Best scenario-specific situation for Dynamite Blast!
Example: Cultist BBQ in devourer below after (deliberately?) doing bad on MM.
Machete! Also, I love the references to meters and miles. It’ll be generations before all of Canada uses kilometers all of the time.
The grid roads out west are all 1/2 or 1 mile apart, so it's just more convenient to use miles sometimes.
Love your work, keep it up!
I'd be interested in a reverse of this video (i.e. top 5 worst level zero guardian cards)

No joke, talking about the different "scales" (i.e. Ward of Protection, Emergency Cache, etc.) would be an interesting video.
Release the formula Bryn. The people demand it.
You gotta shout "Yeah, f'ck you too!" everytime you play a dynamite blast. You just gotta

Nice, thanks for the content guys!
Does Well Prepared count icons on attachments? Like a shotgun with custom ammo? Would that get a third fist from custom ammo?
27:00 why is practised huge? which combination excist with practised?
Practice Makes Perfect works really well with Practiced skills.

Rank your top 5 moments you’ve all experienced in Arkham together bet. Could be game related or making your own, etc.
Ope list of 5:
5. Grete Wagner
4. Steadfast
3. Breach the Door
2. Take the Initiative
1. Teamwork

What's the conversion rate between Ward of Protections and Unexpected Courages? Is it the same between Stanley Nickels and Schrute Bucks?
Love the nonsense in the video

Practice Makes Perfect from Dream-Eaters.

I feel like I’ve just been bombarding you guys with questions so I apologize. Do you guys have a discord or something for Arkham discussions?
We do! discord.gg/tRaZbudm72

Guard dogs my fav even though beat cop is probably better 👀
