I grew up in the Hudson Valley, NY and it is a magical place- going to Sleepy Hollow for Halloween, the gorgeous leaves, quaint small towns. A lot of it is like something out of a movie. I definitely need this palette!
I'm just over here yelling "yes! yes! yes!" when you're asking if the yellow looks good with the grungy greens. 😊 This palette has me feeling some type of way...😍
For me experiencing a pumpkin patch is a lot like getting a live Christmas tree (maybe you can relate to that!) it can be all the things you mentioned- but mostly for me it’s a fall tradition to find the perfect pumpkin.
Yes, pumpkin patches are basically like big fields where pumpkins grow. You can choose some to take home and decorate for autumn/Halloween. They’re great if you want to carve jack-o-lanterns, too

Yes. Book a trip through the northeast for fall "leaf peeping". Driving through the hills & mountains filled with trees of greens, yellows, oranges & reds is magical!! NY up into Vermont is fantastic.
When is the best time to do this? I am interested in doing this! Just wonder what is too late? Don’t want to get there when the leave have already fallen 😢
No, they’re just starting to change now! CNY is gorgeous from now until Halloween. Apple picking season is just beginning, it’s my favorite season!!!
Depending on where you go, the end of October might be too late, but not everywhere. The drought will affect the vividness of colors in some places too. But 2nd -3rd week of October is usually pretty nice. 🧡
Here in Michigan, they have estimated peak color October 14-24 if that helps! Michigan, Vermont and Pennsylvania have the best colors I have ever seen. The further south you go, the more brown and less colorful the leaves get. North, wet climates are amazing!
I love fall in Pennsylvania, but Vermont in the fall was the lost beautiful place I've ever been. Just a sea of endless fall trees.
I low key wish they had made this a Sleepy Hollow palette as a companion to the Haunted Europe one, but the Hudson Valley is one of my favorite places to visit in the fall so I’m not mad about it ❤️💛🧡🤎

Pumpkin patches are fun and you can pick your own pumpkins for fall. We have a great one just outside the city and we go every year. Even if I didn't have a little one I would still go because it's fun.
A pumpkin patch is just the field where the pumpkins were grown. Leaf Peeping is in reference to Fall Foliage & watching all of the leaves turn colors. Best way is to go for a hike or drive up somewhere high enough to enjoy the view! It can be so beautiful! 🍁🍂🍃

dark eyeshadow colours that look similar on your white skin might look vastly different from each other on dark skin. the nuances between darker shades are WAY more prominent on darker skin because the eye compares them, and also vice versa - many pastels can look really similar (and ashy...) on dark skin that you would see as 100% worth being in one palette. just wanted to raise some well-needed awareness for that, we can't stress these things enough
So true. I have been learning this the hard way when it comes to palettes. I think this is why I prefer buying single shadows. I used to get sucked in to a beautiful alerts colour story but now I rarely buy palettes and do byop with my singles. The outcomes are so much more flattering because the shades I have suit my skin tone in depth as well as flatter my olive undertones.
I grew up on Long Island, but my family took a road trip every fall to the Hudson Valley. We always found somewhere to pick apples. Can you imagine the sound of 9 people in a car, chewing apples?????😂😂😂

A pumpkin patch is usually a farm where they grow pumpkins and you go to choose. At the one i went to growing up they also had like fresh bbq, kettle corn, painting for kids, wheelbarrows for the pumpkins, animals and a corn maze. It was always so fun to go to. It was Bates Nut Farm in Southern California
I was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and it’s beautiful! If you like wine they have great wineries and the pizza in NY is the best! The scenery is so beautiful-mountains and fall foliage. I can’t wait to get my hands on this palette. You’re are so fun to watch you create such beautiful looks.
I love those grey-greens. I've been hoping someone would make a palette with grey-greens rather than yellow-greens, which everyone does. Both looks are really beautiful, btw.
don’t feel bad, i grew up in new york my entire life and i’ve NEVER been to a pumpkin patch, but i’ve always wanted to go to one!!! i loveeee that yellow with the grungy green. it looked soooo delicious together!!! i love when you do red eyeshadow… i ADORE red eyeshadow and red eyeliner and red lipstick together!!! i love that look on myself personally. i know it’s not for everyone, but it’s for me. i do like this release. i’d love to see make a video mixing these last two nomad palettes. just for fun if you ever get a chance to breathe. love you angie!!! 🧡🧡🧡
A pumpkin patch IS a thing where you go to someone who grows pumpkins to get a pumpkin lol. They usually cut them from the vine but leave them in the field/patch for you to find the perfect one. It took quite some time for the pilgrims to figure out agriculture here so maybe that’s why we have these traditions. Usually at these places there’s a market selling Apple cider, cider donuts and goods that farm or other local farms make (jams, beer, wine, jerky, etc). Maybe even a corn maze. And tractor rides. It’s a fun thing you can look forward to doing in your local communities and great profit for small farms.
Edit: what people usually do with these pumpkins is make Jack-o-lanterns for Halloween, roast the seeds as a snack, or make pumpkin soup or pie etc.

I live in southern NJ, about 15 minutes west of Atlantic City. The Hudson Valley is about 2 hours north of me. It’s beautiful there.
Leaf “peeping” is their way of saying they’re checking out the fall leaves changing colors. A pumpkin patch is a large garden or farm dedicated to growing pumpkins.
I think this color story really suits that area.

Pumpkin patches are the best. Since you’re in Austin, check out Sweet Berry Farm in Marble Falls. Not too far away and they have a pumpkin patch, fall flower fields and hay rides. Fun easy fall day trip! Also, gorgeous eye looks! This palette looks amazing on you.

Well pumpkin patches are cool because there are pumpkins of all shapes and sizes plus gourds and to me it’s just so fun to get out there and be able to select the perfect pumpkin assortment for YOUR ideal falldecor. And you can’t forget the obligatory pictures in witchy/fall outfits with all the gorgeous pumpkins 🎃 you usually get one for a pie and one to carve into a jack-o-lantern 🎃

A pumpkin patch is where the pumpkins are grown 😆 Some of them have fun activities, fall inspired homemade recipes and decor for the family to enjoy(well here in Tennessee anyways). It's a lot of fun to go pick out ur pumpkin and enjoy there other things. Everybody needs to go once anyways but if u have kids it's a lot of fun!

I love Fall! Going to Apple orchards to pick apples or pumpkin patches to select your pumpkin is so fun and nostalgic to me. Usually these places are at farms and so the farm will add attractions to make additional money from people going to harvest. They will sell food, and maybe have a petting zoo and hay rides or bigger ones could have carnival rides but it’s not always meant to be like a carnival. Some are just simple farms or very small pop up patches (seasonal set ups where they bring them from farm to cities). I’d highly recommend and each place is different.
Angie, make a point to head to Sweet Eats farms this October. Pick some pumpkins, pets some animals, eat some food, and stay for the flashlight corn maze at night!
Yes! I got it as my Teacher Starfish gift even before I saw the full reveal. I had seen 4 shades and the church from the second clue Nomad Cosmetics gave and I knew I would fall in love with it (pun intended). It is already coming my way and I couldn't be more excited about it!

I love the shade name leaf peeping. Here in NH we get bombarded with tourists leaf peeping at the height of fall. It's definitely a sign of the season for us.
A pumpkin patch is a place that grows pumpkins. You can go and pick your own to buy. Some farms have activities for the kids also, animals to pet, etc.
Oo look 2 is such a horror Halloween feel, fierce! Love it. And finally a red lip! It's crazy how few ppl actually wear red lips in the beauty community. 99% I've seen as all about neutral, soft, and gloss.

Pumpkins are grown in a pumpkin patch (at least in Pennsylvania). As a kid we'd go to the farm and walk through the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins for carving/painting. Usually these farms would sell cider and flavored honey sticks, and some had fall festivals.
Oh, and "leaf peeping" means to go look at the fall leaves. 😆 "Peep" is a slang word for seeing something. "Peep this" = look at this. "I peeped..." = I saw....

I just figured out what I adore about this palette and it's the inclusion of really cool toned and really warm toned browns. I don't care for the shimmers, and I think I have most if not all the bright mattes. But having both very warm and very cool brown in a palette together (that go from light to dark) is like a unicorn!

Pumpkin patches are where pumpkins are grown. You get to go into the field and pick your own to take home for carving/decoration. Some bigger ones will have events or corn mazes next to them, but I don't think that's common. I don't know if it's too warm in Texas to grow pumpkins, but it's worth finding out. The fields are usually super muddy so wear wellie boots.
I have no issue with brands like Nomad releasing extra collections for whatever reason because each palette they release is a completely diffeerent colour story to the last palette no release is redundant, at least they're not doing a Colorpop or Makeup Revolution that release a whole load of things sure but they everything look the same as the last five collections xx
Pumpkin patches here where I live in Texas are a mix of both! You can go to a standard patch and just buy a pumpkin, but they also have fairs with corn mazes, apple cider, farm animals, hayrides, props for pictures, as well as pumpkins and pumpkin-related things for sale. You definitely made me want to buy this palette! It’s so beautiful 🧡🎃

This is so weird, I'm so intrigued by this palette but I know these are not my colours at all, my colours are Whistler palette, so this would make me look really tired and dull, but it's just so cozy and comforting and I love the layout with the three shimmers in the middle. I think this is a palette that I need to just love to look at on other people, like on your skintone it is perfection, I definitely have to edit myself a bit and not buy everything even from brands I love :D

I might need this one! ❤ pumpkin patches be like little fairs where you go for pumpkins but they’ll have fall foods or a haunted house or haunted maze. Some the pumpkins have already been picked. When I was a kid you drove a few hours to a more rural area and picked it from the ground. My whole school used to go and it was a meet farmers and farm animals and pick a pumpkin. Apple picking is like the adult B&B for the weekend version.

Where you were in the Smokies is my favorite place to peep the leaves (and I spent time growing up in New England.) We’re going with my father-in-law around the anniversary of my mother-in-law’s passing in October, and seeing all those colors is soothing during a time period where not much is. Anyway, this is the first Nomd palette that I really went “oooooh” over, so I’ll be thinking long and hard over this one. As always, many thanks and much love. 🧡

Have been to the Hudson Valley during the fall. Stood at West Point campus, Military Academy, which is on the Hudson River. The campus sits on the edge, which is quite away up, Military advantage, and can look up and down the river. It is such a beautiful sight.
An actual pumpkin patch is where you go to the fields yourself to find and pick your pumpkin. A lot like going to and actual apple orchard to pick apple from trees and get the orchards fresh made apple cider. However, a lot of towns seem to have now have and fall festivities where they have like there own “pumpkin patch” which is just like hay nails and a bunch of already picked pumpkins to choose from.

I LOVE the green, yellow and browns! Especially with your maroon colored top! I don't think I would use this palette much because of all the mattes. They intimidate me a little being darker reds, browns, etc.. but like I said before, you make all colors look amazing! Plus, I think "Haunted Europe" will be my 1st Nomad palette if I can buy it while its on sale and before it's sold out, lol.

A pumpkin patch is technically a field where pumpkins are grown. ( Check out the holiday classic It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown to get the idea ) But it can also be a seasonal marketplace where pumpkins are sold. It is part of a Fall Tradition along with hayrides, drinking cider & Harvest Festivals. Similar to a Xmas Tree farm or lot, it is a place where you go to pick out which pumpkin you want to either make pie or carve into a jack-o-lantern. It's an alternative to the grocery store altho many grocery stores will set up a faux " pumpkin patch" display in their parking lot or outside of the store complete with hay bails & other Fall decor. Fall activities are the best. You should definitely not miss pumpkin patches, hot apple cider, corn mazes, hayrides, & apple picking. I’m sure you do some of those things in Sweden as well, but I think the American vibe is so fun.

NYC native who now lives in the Hudson Valley. New York is a beautiful state, especially in the fall. The Hudson Valley is 1 or 2 hours from NYC (Depending where) and you should definitely check it out.
lol what is a pumpkin patch. 😂😂 you just made my day. It’s usually just a big field where pumpkins are grown. They usually have a shed with pre picked pumpkins/hay bails/cute squash you can buy. But you can usually go out into the field and choose your own as well. Then you have to wheel it back in a wagon and pay at the shed. It’s fun tbh. Especially for kids. But as an adult I love it too. My favorite part is putting on all my favorite fall theme clothes/flannel/jeans/makeup and looking the part lololol. Although the pumpkin patches are usually a lot more expensive then a store bought pumpkin.

I highly recommend you visit a pumpkin patch and go to a farm that offers hay rides (tractor pulled trailer where you sit on hay bales). Living in the Midwest means you get to fully celebrate all the seasons! Hello from Kansas!
I believe pumpkin patches are usually pumpkin farms. There are fields or a field with all different sizes of pumpkins and you pick yours out and usually there are snacks, drinks, food or novelties you can puchase. Also sometimes with real big farms there can be corn mazes or hay/tractor rides. Those are legit pumpkin patches!! Lol. Usually families or couples make a day/night out of it.

Hudson valley is definitely worth a visit for fall foliage and really stunning views! (But I'm prejudiced, since I live here.) I thought I didn't need another palette, but this color story is so different and inspiring - I just might have to reconsider! 🍁🍂🌿
