With a little delay, let's finally have a look at another map that was sent to my postbox. This one is from Lainey who spent a vacation on Puerto Rico and kindly collected two maps for us. Thank you!!
So, let's explore the plans of the old fortresses of San Juan and some historic info, mostly on the Spanish period. I figured it'd also be a good opportunity to learn about the Taino people who lived on Puerto Rico at the time of the conquest and who did have a lasting impact on us and our vocabulary.
If there's anything I missed or got wrong, do leave me a comment. It's a part of the world where I kind learn as I go, but I find the places and history really interesting. I hope there's something new in there for you as well and I wish you a good night's sleep 💜

A mix of Firefox and various adblockers seems alright so far, but yeah, it's probably changing all the time.
I subscribed to RUclips premium a few years ago, when those kind of "forced advertisements" started getting inserted in ASMR videos. I'm quite happy with my decision. Especially considering the amount of ASMR videos I watch. I just love your videos❤

Firefox + uBlock Origin, my friends. I haven't seen an ad on the internet in years.
I skip to a few seconds before the end of the vid to basically "snipe" the ad and then I just start it over and it doesn't usually play a second one.

Currently we continue to be a U.S colony struggling to preserve that natural beauty which ia under constant threats due ro overdelopemwnt. I still feel a little like the audio is a lot more bassy and doesn't capture the sharpness of your voice as it used to. The crisp tones that make me tingle. Like I would say the Grand Canyon one, was the last time I really felt like the sound profile was perfect. Or am i going crazy lol?
You're not crazy haha, it was around the time of the Grand Canyon video that we had to switch to a different place to record. I was promised that we'd be able to move back but for reasons that are out of my hands it's not looking good :(
