Thank you Lord.❤ Thank you Fr Dave for this beautiful and meaningful homily on The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord.🙏We celebrates the revelation of Jesus Christ as God’s beloved Son and the effects of the Holy Spirit. recognizing ourselves as beloved before God, to live a life of obedience to God. Baptism could have been enough for our salvation, if we stop sinning. The moment you baptized, the only sacrament cannot be repeated, all your sins are erased. The first readings speaks about Jesus’ mission as the chosen servant and second reading, the household of Cornelius after realizing the grace of baptism, asked that his household be bless. When we had failed the baptism of John that is for the repentance of sin was not enough and Jesus has to be baptized so that we can able to receive the Spirit of God. The spirit was supposed to be the given a power to have a new life. Remind us that the baptism of Jesus is how important in our lives. “Kung Ang Diyos ay nagpabinyag, ganun kahalaga ang sakramento ng vintage.” Any thing that God’s value are really valuable. We must embrace our baptismal call and follow the example of Jesus in changing the world through our lives and actions. Amen 🙏
