Just for the hell of it recently purchased the CPB320. Given i replace a high number of screens weekly and used heat guns for a number of years Thought I'd step into the 21st century and get something that'll help with repairs. Got to say it does the job admirably on most phones and tablets however the boast about these pads being time savers isn't strictly true. takes up to 2 minutes to get to temp then leaving the tablet on the pad for 3 to 5 mins either side. Time it takes from the item landing on the pad to screen removal is somewhat slower than my heat gun I can have the screen off and old adhesive removed in just under 8 mins whereas this heat pad to complete the task just over 15 mins Let me break that down briefly bringing it up to temp, placing the item on the mat time for the tablet to heat to the set temp, removal of screen then cleaning down the frame of remaining adhesive, which doesn't come away too cleanly i must add Not against this kit as it does like i said an admirable job but sometimes, the old way can prove to be the better way. Still it'll help increase production so there's a plus side.

Heat guns also does not apply heat evenly unless you use one method we developed, by using some thermalpads and a large copper plate, we would heat the copperplate with the heatgun and let the heat transfer to the phone, this was somewhat unsafe since that copper plate would turn 100 degrees fairly quick and you needed a tool to take it off and work on your phone.

In other tutorials they heat only from the backside and not the screenside when they want to remove the screen. So what is better? I'm afraid high temperatures might destroy the screen if it touches it directly
