Moisture traps mounted after a few feet of hose are more effective that mounting it directly at the compressor. the air has to cool to allow moisture to condensate into the trap
Excellent review! I bought this same air compressor two years ago to replace a 5 gallon shop compressor after wasting time and money building an silencer box for it. The box made it quieter but it would constantly overheat , requiring a bigger intake and ironicly louder fans to exhaust the the waste heat.
You can hear it in my other videos, but sound is subjective on a microphone. It could sound quieter or loader based an the recording. You can hear it in my other airbrushing videos.
Just got one for same reasons, bang for buck, looked killer, didn't want super cheap, I'm not moving it around, but nice to know if I wanted to I could use for other things. Can't wait to use it, I had really cheap one that came with air brush. Any way good video 👍keep painting man!
Can you recommend a hose or adapter to connect to a Badger Patriot 105 airbrush? I really have no clue what I need to start using my new airbrush. Googling suggests I need special hoses, moisture trap, and adapters to make a connection.
Hey, sorry to hear you didn’t like the sound. It’s 60 db, says it right on the box. Recorded audio of sound won’t tell you how loud it is. I am used to large compressors, I do custom paint on show cars, trucks and motorcycles.
I also have an 80 gallon I use for bigger paint jobs. I don’t paint whole cars with this little compressor, I airbrush miniatures with it. When I paint whole cars I use a paint booth and a commercial sized compressor. But for airbrushing this HF compressor works great.
1st. "This is an 2 gallon Aluminum tank. It's not a metal tank". Aluminum is a metal. 2nd. It would have been nice to turn it on to show how loud it is. 3rd. What special fittings are required to use an airbrush? (you might have said but I got bored and quit watching).

Yes! I have this on and it’s perfect for airbrushing! Very quiet too!
Great review! But, was disappointed not to hear it run. For all the things it does, the sound it generates is as important as any of the features.

Just picked up one of these ..awesome! - You should do more videos of airbrushing
Just picked this up on your recommendation! Excited to get started!
Nice! I hope you love it as much as I do!
I have one, it’s great!
Just bought the 1 gallon on sale and it’s brilliant.
Plug it in. Need to hear it!

Did you mention your airbrush? I’d like to know but I might have missed you talking about it.

I am really happy with it. I have a couple other airbrush videos if you are interested. Thanks for the kind words!
I got the same. But the name is Maximum. Same specs and it's a 62db

The worst review Ive seen yet. You didn't even turn it on so the audience could hear the compressor and the people can be the judge on the sound.
is this piston or diaphragm
thanks for your professional teaching many blessings for you😇
