The biggest change I hope to see is honestly just getting back to a place of discipline and consistency...and from that seeing fruit 🤍 what change do you hope to see from reading God's Word consistently in 2024?
My goal this year is to read the Bible cover to cover because I embarrassingly never have so I have a Bible reading plan I will be starting January 1.🙏
Mine is exactly the same! Being more consistent but gaining the discipline to do so. My word for 2024 is harmonious (I let the Lord lead me to my word).. in my ‘why’ statement, consistency was one of the things I need to work on as well as letting go of what I cannot control and being patient in those moments. (I felt lead to share all of that)! Thanks for sharing your heart! 🙏🏻🤍✌🏻
Stay away from sin as far as possible. Get close to God, but close enough to be a better person and improve society thus making them closer to God, but without exageration - in their own pace. I need to finally recognize God's intentions concerning bringing Israelites close to Jesus, the same Israelites led by Moses to the Promised Land. I would be looking for God's idea of unifying all churches in last days, as the book of Revelation says... and pray for salvation on Judgement Day! 🙏
@@Dana-mb1hd I calculated 3 years slowly but surely. It's so vast I am in 4th year now and got thru roughly 40% of it. In the way of understanding rather than reading. Fingers crossed!
Slight correction, the NIV is actually phrase for phrase and ESV is word for word. NIV is therefore considered a more “dynamic” translation and ESV a more “literal” translation. Praying the same- that I would be consistent in the Word and in prayer daily. As a mother of an infant and new little baby coming in June, I know this will be a challenge, but I am hoping it will keep me grounded, and sustaining peace and joy in my life.
The biggest change I hope to see is being consistent in reading my word and reading in general. I don’t like to read and maybe that’s why I dread reading the Bible unfortunately. Sometimes it’s a huge drag for me to read it. Also because I feel like I’m not taking notes properly or meditating on it the way I’m suppose to because idk how or what that practically looks like. But I want to read more books in 2024 including the Bible and be consistent about it. Even when I don’t feel like it.
I hope that I can be an example to my adult children and grandchildren. By reading daily and living more in Gods word, I will simply become more of an inspiration and example of what only He can do to change us.
This was perfect timing Kaci, I jumped on the treadmill after I brought down the Bible I want to read this year. Threw on RUclips and this video popped up ❤ Like you, more discipline, I've learned the best time for me to do stuff like the treadmill and Bible time is right after I put my kid to bed so I think I'll stick with this routine.
Hi and great videos! Quick question, what do you think about the scriptures (even beyond the bile)? Like the book of Mormon. (Have you had a chance to read this work as well). Thanks and let me know :)
Kaci, I love your videos and enjoying watching the Lord bless you and your family. I do have a question. My wife and I are planning to start reading the Bible together and having our own quiet time to study. I know that she hasn't read the Bible before, I've done it for about a year now off and on. I have my process to study and meditate but I'm not sure the best way to lead a conversation about what I've read or how it impacts my life. I'm trying to think of a prompt so to say to guide us through those conversations after reading. What do you and your husband use for y'alls group Bible study and/or individual conversations?
Hi Kaci! I’m in a new season of life and I’ve purchased a new Bible to use as my other one was full of notes. Should I combine my previous notes from my Bible and notebook to my new one? Or just continue on with this new season fresh?
I hope that by reading God’s word I can grow in my humility, faith, wisdom, and relationship with God✝️🙏thank you so much kaci! I really love your videos❤
The Bible is hard for me. I'll read a particular scripture and I have to web search what it actually means. The phrasing used. The language and translations. The parables. You really have to dig in to the text to uncover the true meaning. And even then scholars disagree on certain aspects.
I just got that same journaling Bible for Christmas should I add tabs to it? Or leave it alone? I think I have enough room with the flap that folds over but am not sure.
@kacinicole thank you for the Video, but please could you let me know which Bible exposition commentaries I need to start with, I see online there are lots not sure which one to buy/follow. Any help here would be Appreciated. May God bless you.
Hi Kaci do you have an email that I could send you a message. I’m struggling with something right now and being i follow you and your teachings have helped me so much I was just wondering if you may be able to help me with this question I have cause I’m so confused on what to believe. God bless you for all you do to help us who need help in certain areas with our walk with the Lord. ❤

I use NKJV now but I grew a lot in the Lord with the Amplified bible. I love that one! Wore it out! ❤

To deeper my relationship with Jesus
Thank you for this lovely video, Kaci! I am in a season of life of wanting to read the Bible. 🌻❤
Aw yay, that is so beautiful and will truly change things! 🙌🏼
@@kacinicole This month I have been reading a verse in Matthew for Christmas

Kaci❤ i Needed this THANK YOU 🙏
Study and prayer.
I've been slacking on the bible. I'm starting to come back to it

I don’t like the ESV anymore because I believe it’s a bit Calvinist biased. Love the NLT.

Telling family and friends what I learned

I noticed in the video you mixed up NIV and ESV. NIV is between NLT and ESV, and the ESV is the word for word translation. Good video overall. :)
I hope that by reading God’s word I can grow in my humility, faith, wisdom, and relationship with God✝️🙏thank you so much kaci! I really love your videos❤
Amen - love that desire and that is definitely fruit God brings about from reading His Word 🙏🏼

You forgot to mention NKJV which I love the most
Finishing up the old testament with Zechariah. Gonna start with Genesis at the first of the year . Have a plan of attack my friends
Yes, so important to have a plan!
Can you miss someone you haven't met😢❤❤❤❤😅😅
The fact they don’t call the Bible highlighters “Biblighters” seems like a missed opportunity.
Reading leads to studying. Let’s remember not to pressure yourself that you’re failing God if you think you’re not doing it “correctly “.

I don’t think you should start in Genesis. Gospels is best known for Jesus first
Well yes, of course!
Read Leviticus before you read the gospels and you'll wanna throw your Biblle in the garbage lol
You go read the beginners guide to human decency
Try the KJV. The real deal!
um, NO!
I'm 50, and will not touch the KJV Bible (I'll take a Bible I can actually understand, thanks)
