YES! YES! YES! I Finally found someone whose City actually follows a damn theme! Everyone I find online, and seemingly everyone who builds a city seems to generally just lay down some modular buildings, and some road plate, and it seems to be that the differences between most cities I find are just the configuration! Very few cities rarely ever follow a theme throughout the city! I love your city build sir, and you have earned my subscription! Maybe one day soon I'll finally put together my Lego city and start recording it! I'm honestly a little nervous, and I certainly won't show my face because i have a horrible scar and yeah, just not gonna be showing my face, like, EVER! I would like to follow a specific theme I've thought up, something like yours in the way that I would have a small country town of good folk and a small populace and small mom and pop stores, but then (and here comes the part I really really wants!), but then I would have a long bit of woodsy landscaping with banking and sweeping long scenic route/back country road that would lead into a lower old town, that then would get bigger and bigger. Newer and newer into a new town, bigger downtown Manhattan style builds! Also I would tell stories with my minifigures. Each of their placements would tell their own stories! Each week I would do City updates and story updates with their placements moved, and relationships forming, and even their would be some miscreants kids finding themselves in trouble with the police all the time, and I would either have them committing such troubles, or being hidden, or being arrested one of many times ! I'm just not sure anyone would get into that kind of build, but after seeing your city, I am convinced that it COULD work! So thank you for not only having a well themed city, but also inspiring myself to start building mine!
Lovely update! Always enjoy seeing your city. That work around the Assembly square and BrickBank looks fantastic and works together so well! The tram is a stunner too! I'm trying to think how to add something similar to my LEGO City. Might mean losing some roads!
Thing I really love about this city (apart from all the detail thats gone into it) is the fact that its not like the majority of other cities that are based on stereotypical big city looks that frankly, while still being amazing all look the same at the end of the day. I love that you can see how much thought has actually gone into how this all goes together and the feel of it and that is just awesome. its also good for people to see that might want to start a city of their own but have been put off by the idea of getting all the pieces for big buildings and elaborate tracks. Awesome work mate
Welcome back! Fantastic overview and update, many congratulations to you both on the new addition to the family. Lisbon is an amazing city, the people and food are stunning. Could you send some time in your next video showing the rock work around the train track (nearest to you in the video) and also on the wooden bridge? Saw little bits and both look brilliant. Thanks
I love how your city is drastically more detailed than the majority of others shown on youtube. The different building techniques truly set it apart from others! Glad to see a video and congratultions on the new addition to the family!
Wow so awesome. Where to start? Loved the paved road details and the pedestrian zones. I recognized the German traffic signed too next to the park😄. And the park! 🙆♀️ speechless. The walk way and that tree 😀. That water ... I saw it move and the camara was panning. That street car looks amazing! Congratulations to the both of you. Your love and passion for Lego building shows. Thank you for sharing!
I love the amount of work, experimentation and work in your city to get such amazing results with great amount of detail and consideration for finishing touches and improvements. Would love to see how you build roads, specially the parking lot with diagonal yellow lines!
Wauw - this looks really great! I'm new to your channel and I must say that I'm blown away by your city! I love how you've made the city melt seamlessly into the terrain and how you've recreated the feel of European city! Great job! I really like the raised part of old town - a very nice way to do it and your MOCs are very nice! Amazing! Thanks for sharing this and I hope to see more updates from you very soon :-)
Yeah you guys are back!!! I really missed your content... Man your city looks really good, that tram looks amazing as well and congratulations on your new addition to the family!!!

i've never seen your city before but I love it!! I much prefer it to Jangbricks city. yours is more realistic looking. I love the paved city centre square, the tram, the brick statue, the city wall and the elevated walkways are inspired! makes me want to do a city of my own now, even though I don't really have the space for one!
Thank you for the comment. We appreciate. And, yes all is well with the little one. he's doing great and looking forward to getting some duplo... Well, as lease I'm excited to get him some duplo. 😜👍

i agree on letting the lego expert creator modulars represent themselves. fantastic city sq. and layout overall!!! very fun to watch. hey maybe you can start the new born off early to be a master builder ;)
Thanks for the comment. Glad to hear that you concur with our stance on the creator modulars. As far as the little one is concerned, we'd say that the groundwork has definitely been laid.
Your videos are great!!! Thank you so much for your time and sharing your great builds with us! :D love the man wholes. The trolley is very cool!!!!!! :D :D It is some times hard to find time to share our hobby. Congratulations on your New Blessing!
Great comment. Yes, the iconic 2x4 brick it red. however, we imagined that in the lego city the statue is made out of stone, and so we made it grey to look more like a real statue. But thank you for your comment.
Thats awesome that you did an update. I subbed only recently and wasn't sure if you would come back at all but I love your videos and your city so I was hoping for an update :) I'm actually from Germany too and I thought the city looked very european ;) We are awaiting our second daughter in august and I hope I still have time for doing a video or at least building Lego but probably not ;)
You should have a medieval house or two atop the retaining wall by the waterway as more remains of the old castle. Maybe a watchtower with clock as well above the trolley line. Sort of like this. www.eurorailhobbies.com/product.asp?mn=8&ca=21&sc=HO&stock=F-130406 Also, as the track snagged on that one area of track, perhaps it might be smart to cut away small portions of the two track pieces where they meet so that it is a more smooth transition, but that is just my idea.

Lovely Lego city, so dense & interesting; much better than the typical flat sprawls that 99% of people do.

This needs an update!
I’m really wondering how the city planning is progressing!!
Unfortunately, the creator passed away in February 2020. He is loved and missed by those of us who were close to him.

Thanks for the sub. Hope you'll get some building in before your daughter arrives in August.
Your main Lego square is epic!
Could you give a small example of your water? I'm not sure I understand the clip and tile setup
