    I would like to add, as a person whose prefrontal cortex just developed; I love your videos. As I have paid attention to everything we eat, put on our skin, and just daily things we’ve relied upon for years. I have quickly realized, almost everything that is being marketed towards us, is just plain horrible for us! And my future is based upon what I change about myself now. As a beginner, I appreciate your videos more than you’ll ever know. You are also very involved in your online community. Loved the facial oil recipe! Jojoba oil is rich in ceramides, which helps repair the skin barrier. Borage oil is rich in omega 6 & GLA, highly moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and healing for people with psoriasis and eczema. Rosehip oil is one of nature's retinol alternatives (high in Vit A). Moreover, rosehip inhibits the creation of an enzyme that breaks down collagen (MMP-1), hence it protects our existing collagen, prevents further breakdown of it and improves the elasticity of our skin.
    My favourite oil is seabuckthorn oil! High in GLA but also amazing for hyperpigmentation which is usually present in mature skin (sun spots, age spots, liver spots...).
    For the acne soaps, you can definitely try adding charcoal, and clays. Also, you can experiment with ingredients we, Middle Easterns, traditionally use for acne like (a little bit) of turmeric powder, neem leaf powder, and (my secreted ingredient) henna powder.
    Additionally, you can use tea tree oil, neem oil, lavender oil and chamomile oil if your daughter has sensitive skin. Tea tree, neem and thyme oils are a bit on the stronger side for someone with sensitive skin. Something else you can play with is the carrier/fixed oils. Using a small amount of castor oil will improve the cleansing properties of the final soap bars.
    Here are a couple of more tips;
    Honey usually heats the soap mixture (A LOT), so I would recommend adding it towards the end. As for the calendula petals, I prefer using calendula-infused oils (maybe sweet almond, jojoba or/and argan oil) near the end, when adding the essential oils. Adding the petals into the soap mixture and blending usually spoils the soap quickly (at least in my experience). However, I add the dried petals to the top of the soap as a form of decoration.

    So fun. Thanks. Have you looked into hot process soap? You mix the soap in a crock pot and then cook it for 60 to 90 minutes. Then you stir it and mold it. The next day when you unmold it, you can use it right away. If you wait a few weeks it will harden and therefore last longer. I love the instant gratification. Use a crock pot that is only for this process, it does ruin the finish on the crock.

      I own a small natural skincare business. So some of the causes of this are: vitamin deficiencies in iron or B12. Smoking and too much caffeine. Prolonged periods of sun exposure. Reactions/sensitivity to products like a toothpaste or things that come in contact with your mouth/lip area. Dehydration and using water with too much fluoride. So you want to maybe look into the underlying issue then address what could be causing it.
      Some really great natural options for fading them are below. All of these remedies take time and consistency- that's very important!
      *Pomegranate extract has been studied and shown to fade spots on the face and lips. It's really easy to make your own extract and there are videos on here teaching it. You could also just make a quick treatment in small batches by mixing about 1 TBS chopped pomegranate seeds (and the juice), 1 tsp rose water or distilled water and enough plain greek yogurt or milk to create a little paste. Put on and keep for 5-10 mins and do this every day. Carrot and beetroot would also be good because they are high in vitamin C.
      *Licorice root extract has also been shown to help fade dark spots on the skin and lips. It's easy to buy dried licorice root, some glycerin (and a preservative if you wish) and be able to make it yourself.
      *Turmeric and aloe vera paste mask. Mix a SMALL amount of turmeric (it will stain if it's too much) with some natural aloe vera. If you can't get natural, try to at least get the clear store bought one instead of the green. Same thing, rub into your lips, let sit for about 10 minutes and rinse off.
      *Vitamin C is fantastic for this issue! L-ascorbic acid is the most effective form of vitamin C but it's not very stable. Because of that it's great to buy a small bag of pure vitamin C powder (Amazon has it) then make small batches of a serum at a time. It becomes unstable after about a week so make a very small amount and keep it in a dark container and out of light. Google or RUclips how to make diy Vit C serum. you can even add pomegranate and licorice root extract to it! Powerhouse!
      I hope this helps. Don't forget you are beautiful! 🫶🏼
