    Been a NASCAR fan forever. Never heard of Ed Rensi until now and feel like I’ve missed out. WOW. Love this guy and the way he talks. He thinks like me for sure. Awesome guest. He speaketh the truth and most people don’t like that nowadays. They like what they’ve been spoon fed by the media and enjoy being controlled. Ed is my kindred spirit.

    BO created alot of problems in this country, not just NASCAR

    • @IcyKcominyourway
      @IcyKcominyourway 6 месяцев назад +2

      One of my greatest conspiracies about BO, is that he made it okay for white women to date black men. I'm not trying to be prejudice or nothing, I love all walks of life, and I certainly hope I don't get in a lot of trouble for saying this, but lets face it, women in the world today don't want guys like me anymore, unless they have a large bank account, and are whatever qualifies as sexy by the standards and norms in society today, and have big sausages, LOL. I need to wake up and face facts, that I don't fit the mold for any of those things, LOL. I'll be much happier, once I stop living the lies, and indulging the ways I try to cope and rationalize, with situations I face personally in everyday life.
      I mean interracial relationships have been around for decades, they are just more largely accepted in society today than they have ever been before, and seeing the direction that the problems in the world today in general are headed for, I believe I am perfectly fine, if I go on living the rest of my life as a confirmed bachelor.
      There have been great men that have lived damn good lives as lifelong bachelors, the late Robin Miller comes to mind for me, he had a damn good time covering the heroes of American Motorsports past and present, until the day he left this earth.
      For the record, I am a Millennial that was born in the early 90's, and I have had an unwavering love for NASCAR most of my life, there is no other way I'd rather spend my weekends than tuning into the TV and taking in a race, the greatest sport in the world, much love and respect to Kenny Wallace for having this podcast, and telling some of the great stories of the sport, such as that of Mr. Rensi. This story was worth an hour of my time.

    57:00 I think in two years at the top series NASCAR could fix the issues that the other players have not been able to do. If you could swap batteries you could go see your brother without wasting an extra day. NASCAR would bring that to light in the first week.

    A mixture of fact-based good stories and some opinions that have another side. Ed seemed to be confused about Formula 1 needing 2 cars because they run out of battery power. I think he was referring to Formula E, not Formula 1. In fact, the 10 teams in F1 have 2 cars, 1 for each of their 2 drivers. The current rules do not allow backup cars as they did years ago. I've been a motorsports fan for over 70 years. True motorsports fans enjoy all racing series, perhaps not equally, but refrain from tearing down some series over others.

    Though I do appreciate this episode, I gotta say that unless he’s a been bullshiting us, Dale Jr lives and breaths this sport. He’s been vocal about how nascar is not a place to make money. If Hendrick Motorsports hasn’t made a profit in 10 years, I can’t even begin to fathom how much money Dale and Kelly are possibly losing with JRM.
    Look I’m just a schmuck from buttfuck Wisconsin, but from all the time I’ve listened to DJD, various interviews, and so on, Dale jr seems like a ride or die nascar guy. He would have packed up and dipped after the 2017 season if he didn’t want to be here anymore.
