  • We were surprised at this meal. The chicken was really tasty and cooked lovely in 50 minutes.
    The chicken cost £1.59 from Farm Foods + 29p for the carrier bag 😂😂😂.
    The veg was 15 Pence a bag at Lidl . We bought 4 bags. Yes It was on offer. We used about half a bag of each veg. The total cost of this meal was £1.89p for two people thats less than 90 pence each.

    Hello loves, I have a different mini airfryer oven, got mine from qvc a couple of years ago and I love it, saves a fortune coz not using the big oven, anyways I put the drip tray over the bottom heater to catch the dripping fat and this way the bottom heater bar doesn't start to burn. First time used it with the tray under the bar the fat started to burn. Just a tip. The Chuck looked lovely.😀💝👍🏼

It was an inconvenience getting of my chair to turn the light on because I was sat watching it 😂😂😂 I saw budget cooking with that turkey and I thought she was joking. Hi Graham and Wendy, UA is Ukraine, as for Phillip he has sat here and watched your video with me. He was very impressed with the Chicken rotisserie, he wants one 😂😆. Of course there is always the option of adding some loose cut up fruit like, oranges, apricot and Peaches to the cavity or onions and some choice herbs to give it a different flavouring. Your chicken was well done just how we like it, you've done a brilliant job. You can always pull out the tops of the chicken wings and tuck them underneath the bird, just a thought. 🤚💯👍💕🎄🎁🐔

    I just watched Kerry on Budget Cooking UK channel before I watched yours, if you haven't watch her I recommend you have a look,she was reviewing the Cosori 12 ltr oven and she cooked a 3.5 kg turkey in it and it came out lovely,she didn't use the rotisserie as it was too big,she just sat it on the tray and turned it a couple of times and it look brilliant,another great video and your chicken looks brilliant,29p for a carrier bag is cheap our Morrisons paper bags up here are 40p,when the holiday season starts up here in Ayr and all the Craig Tara(Butlins) campers arrive I've seen them getting their self catering supplies and buying 10 bags,another £4 on their shopping how crazy is that,if you know your going to be buying a week's worth of food bring your own bags

    • @grahamgetsabout2672
      @grahamgetsabout2672  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Richard, I thought Kerry was joking about cooking that turkey. I wouldn’t attempt one that size as it’s a lot of money if it goes wrong. It did look ok but I don’t think Wendy would be happy with it. I’ve bought a 2KG turkey crown for the 24 litre oven so there is plenty of room and we will cover it with foil. We carry bags for life in the car and we have a set of four bags that hang in the shopping trolley. I was caught out on this occasion. 🤷‍♂️👍 we sometimes use haven caravans but you’re a little far away for a mid week break. 🍻👍

    Hi Graham. Ive the HYSAPIENTIA 24L Oven . I tried just under 1.5kg chicken on rotisserie..too big. I didnt have space to add the tray to catch any fat that dropped off as i didnt want it to drop onto the lower heating element's, despite having crumb tray as that wouldnt be sufficient. Also, i see that you are using string. I was scared to use string as i thought it might catch fire. Is there a specific type of cooking string to tie up legs etc? Thank you

    • @grahamgetsabout2672
      @grahamgetsabout2672  3 месяца назад

      Hi, could you put your name at the end of a comment please 👍. It’s hard when it’s new to us, I was just the same. The first time I used garden twine then a wonderful subscriber sent me the right string. If you tie it up there is plenty of room and the juices dropped between the elements I put foil on the crumb tray and it was ok. We have done at least half a dozen chickens this way. I think I used a 1.5kg chicken and that fine. I understand it’s a bit scary maybe you should watch my video again.👋👋👋👍
