Even managed to knock Despero off his feet, and took two ferocious punches without any damage, and Despero could one shot J'onzz. The infamous Superman beat down was written under Dan Jurgen's pen in the same era, in Supermans own title. Considering Jurgen was a main writer of Superman at the time, and Giffen respected each other as peers, I'd consider that showing fairly definitive.

Doubt it. Immortal Hulk is strong but not crush a city into a tiny ball and eat it strong. Not dangerous enough to be banned from hell either. Both will come back to life after every loss so it would come down to who could trap the other. Nvm actually this fight is stupid. The whole immortal crap they both have takes the fun out of it. I don't like characters who can't be beaten. Other variations of Hulk are ok but this one is like watching one punch man but without the comedy/fun supporting characters.

Try Superman (started out with just super jumping, being super strong, could go really fast, and was super dense due to his home planet having a higher density than earth... basically a reverse John Carter of Mars), Batman (started out as a cross between Zorro and Sherlock Holmes, now is "super duper can defeat anyone, even whole armies of superhumans with enough prep time). My theory for devil hulk being mind control is that devil hulk is alot more calmer then the rest of the hulk personalities because if you look at world breaker hulk in the wwh comics he is at his most angriest meaning all of his abilities are enhanced including his mind control resistance and it's because his mind is unstable but when you're reading the immortal hulk comics you notice he thinks strategically and rationale, meaning he's more calm, making him easy to control.

You guys do a lot of battles between a lot of popular characters and I have some ideas. How about Amazo , The Absorbing man, the Phoenix, the Champion against the Sayian. Bat man or Bane vs the Blob. The Abomination , Doomday vs Damage, a real fight with wonder woman vs marvels hercules, by the way I hated the fight with Android 18 and Wonder woman. She's been using her bracelet at reduces speeds to block everything, she has weapons that weren't used at all,, she helped pull a damn planet! She's a seasoned warrior and if she took off the bracelets I think she would punish 18. For dragon ball and any other comic its easy for them to nerf the original comic characters from back in the day but damn non of the OG's are able to do anything against even the human dragonball characters and that socks! Yeah the think about that one Lobo versus Superman match that was back when Superman literally was not himself he was essentially a version of The Eradicator and for some reason his physical Powers took a huge downgrade when he was thinking of himself as simply Kryptonian and rather than as he normally does when Superman. Darkseid himself once said that Superman's powers are connected to his state of mind which might explain why when he's hopeful he literally rewrites the universe's rule so that he can win. When characters become so overpowered that they are beyond omnipotent it's absolutely no fun anymore. It's okay for there to be a very powerful character but he must have limits somewhere. I think that immortal hulk should be placed in an elsewhere kind of story not main canon.

The Lobo character was absurd from the beginning; and always seemed contrived to provide a foil for the most powerful superheroes. The crushing and eating of a city was the pinnacle of stupidity; and cemented the character's illegitimacy. I can't possibly take him seriously, because he just seems like DC's creation to allow them to say, _"Oh, yeah? Well Lobo can do this..."_ They'll never firmly define his powers. So, they can simply throw in anything they want. Conversely, the Hulk's powers gave always been firmly defined; and any progression, or evolution has effectively been a logical leap, or extension of his previously defined power base. In any case, Hulk wins. Strength is infinite. Lobo's isn't. End of discussion.

When characters become so overpowered that they are beyond omnipotent it's absolutely no fun anymore. It's okay for there to be a very powerful character but he must have limits somewhere. I think that immortal hulk should be placed in an elsewhere kind of story not main canon.

The crushing and eating of a city was the pinnacle of stupidity; and cemented the character's illegitimacy. I can't possibly take him seriously, because he just seems like DC's creation to allow them to say, _"Oh, yeah? Well Lobo can do this..."_
They'll never firmly define his powers. So, they can simply throw in anything they want. Conversely, the Hulk's powers gave always been firmly defined; and any progression, or evolution has effectively been a logical leap, or extension of his previously defined power base.

Hulk has survived decapitation, and his healing is among the greatest in his universe. You're underestimating the Hulk who gets stronger the madder and the longer the fights, not Lobo.
