In my country, Cuba, we had a lot of narrow gauge steam locos in sugar industry. Now those are out of service. I enjoyed the video very much. Cheers!

Desa tempat lahirku dulu merupakan ujung rel yg bisa dilewati lokomotif dari PG Gondang Baru, awal thn 1970 rem dibongkar karena dilintasi jln Ring Road Selatan kota Klaten.
Semua lokomotif warnanya sama dengan nama gunung, al merapi, Merbabu wilis lawu dll dengan no lokomotif..
Sering buat tebak tebakan diantara teman2 yg sedang main di lapangan bola, loko no berapa yg datang bila sdh kedengaran suara peluit nya.. tapi belum kelihatan lokomotifnya..

Seharusnya ada suatu institusi yg tugasnya mengkonservasi lok2 uap eks pabrik gula di p Jawa..

This steam locomotive runs on renewable fuel, and can be maintained and repaired using local skills and machining infrastructure...does not need expensive spare parts from a foreign company , computer updates, or service engineer interventions to keep it working....

That company even construct new steam locomotives, because they are so durable, trustworthy & can be locally build & maintained... "Western modernization " is often an expensive death end - introducing sophisticated technologies that do not work proper in rural environments and are way too prone to all kinds of glitches & malfunctions who are most difficult - and expensive - to remedy - if not impossible.

Видео нравятся. Думал что 700мм некорректный перевод. Нестандартный размер колеи. Обычно 750 мм и 760мм. Колея 700мм для меня в диковику.
В вашей стране остались сахарные заводы на которых паровозов работает больше чем тепловозов?
Для поездов из сахарного тростника в Индонезии есть несколько размеров: 600 мм, 670 мм, 720 мм, 750 мм, 900 мм. Но большинство используют 700 мм.
Для больших поездов для пассажиров и перевозок здесь используется размер 1067 мм, а в некоторых - 1435 мм.

In fact, if there is a stock of water in the locomotive, it will increase the weight of the locomotive and will increase the pressure of the wheels on the rails so that the risk of wheel slippage can be reduced.

Iya paham mas, masalahnya mengapa dikubur ya, dibiarkan di dalam remise loko kan ya ga masalah ya.
Saya juga dicritain waktu kesana, kalau ada loko yang dikubur, namun saya tak habis pikir.. mengapa harus dikubur.
@@ahmadarif29 ada kasus pencurian mslhnya mas, ada bbrp eks oknum orang dlm yg jd sindikat, akhirnya sm GM diputuskan untuk mengubur semua besi/baja bekas kendaraan inventaris, termasuk bangkai loko juga
Nah kalau ada alasan seperti ini masih bisa diterima mas. Sy jg berpikir pasti ada alasan khusus dibalik dikuburnya beberapa loko yang hanya diketahui pihak terkait.

Bapak saya dulu pernah menjadi pimpinan di perkebunan, awal karirnya dimulai pada tahun 1950'an, pada saat perkebunan masih dibawah pimpinan Belanda, dan pensiun sampai dengan tahun 90'an...
Dia akan marah sekali kepada pimpinan pabrik (Adm) apabila melihat kereta/loko, dan lorinya tidak dirawat dengan baik.
Pada saat itu lori adalah salah satu bagian penting dari berjalannya produksi dipabrik gula.
Apresiasi setinggi-tingginya kepada Bapaknya..
berharap harusnya sampai sekarang parang pertinggi pabrik gula memiliki pikiran yang sama terhadap kereta lori (lokomotif diesel dan apalagi lokomotif uap)
Kalo Loko Uap Gatokaca Dari PG Pesantren Ya Mas
Loko uap cuma maju mundur di pabrik kah gak petnah ada video lewat jalur jalur penyeberangan dll ada pun jarang
Selain ntuk lori tebu.ada bagusnya dibikin ntuk kereta wisata.jadi tidak dimatikan kalo sdah tidak beroperasi lagi
Memang selain digunakan sewaktu-watu untuk memback-up loko diesel,
loko uap ini bisa dicharter untuk wisata..
kalau memang minat silahkan hubungi pabrik gula bersangkutan unuk info dan lain-lain,
