PERRY MASON!! 🙂 He's my hero in the fictionalized court system because he would always find the guilty person and "rescue" the framed person. He's the lawyer I would want if I were ever framed for murder. But sadly, I would have to settle with an uncaring lawyer and end up in prison for years, maybe decades just like they did to David Milgaard, Rubin 'Hurricane' Carter, Guy Paul Morin, and many, many others because they couldn't find a concerned, caring lawyer like Perry Mason, who believed they were innocent.
I like the transformation Kathie Browne goes with her character from bubble head to a ruthless witch. The guest stars on this show were as good as actors as the regular cast
I watched the episodes more for the acting and actors than the arcane courtroom goings-on. Burr alone would have been a reason for watching them: he was made for the role of Mason, as the character's creator concurred.

Kathie Browne was a guess star on hundreds of shows. Good actress and beautiful. She even guess starred with her husband of many years Darren Mcgavin. She was one of my all time favorite actresses.

These Perry Mason tv shows are excellent but what I've noticed is Burger, both homicide cops are corrupt 😅 they have already judged their suspects that they did the crimes in all their shows and their always trying to get the real criminals off sure glad Mr Perry Mason is on these cases. 🤔 😅😂😅😂
Some of the unintended humor with the Perry Mason episodes is when Mason will make what could be a seemingly benign remark, or question, to the person on the witness stand, resulting with Hamilton Burger loudly objecting. But then in the closing moments of the same episode, while Mason is harshly grilling the person on the witness stand, Burger just sits back and won't raise any objections. xD
It is usually when Perry Mason have shown enough evidence to show that the truth was something totally different than what the events seem to make it look like.
Yes, in The Case of The Witless Witness he lost a civil case (and later wound up defending the judge who ruled against him, on a murder charge). Mason's two murder cases he lost were: TCOT Terrified Typist (1958), in which the defendant lied about his identity and was being tried under an incorrect identity, and TCOT Deadly Verdict (1963) in which the guilty verdict is given at the beginning of the episode, brought about by the defendant withholding information that could have exonerated her but didn't, and Mason then spends the rest of the episode repiecing the evidence to expose the real guilty party.
What chicanery are you talking about idiot, wake up. This is brilliant lawyer who knows how to dig deep to let the truth comes out so that the real culprit should be punished not an innocent person. Save yourself the embarrassment and don't come to watch videos that are way beyond the white jello in your skull that they mistakenly call brain to grasp or understand or else you will start hallucinating deliriously as you have done in your laughably stupid and foolish comment.
