Correction :
When Rasulullah (sm) was saying the positive omens about the 'banu bakr',here sheikh did a slip of tongue. He was tryna say 'banu khuja'a'.And it is understandable when a person is talking nonstop for more than one hour.This type of mistake can happen.May allah subhanahu wata ala bless sheikh and all of us and forgive our mistakes.

When Banu Bakr joined Qureshi. And received aid to launch a late night attack on Khuza'a. Khuza'a came to Prophet (s) for help because they had a long held treaty between them, for generations.
Prophet (s) asked Qureshi to cut their treaty with Banu Bakr and pay the blood money for the people killed from Khuza'a. Qureshi refused to budge.
When this was rejected. On this, prophet (s) said Quresh has broken the treaty of Hudaybiyah. So, he (s) declared to launch an attack on Quresh in Makkah.
After hearing this, Quresh got scared. Abu Suyaan went on behalf of Quresh to reestablish the treaty of Hudaybiyah. Prophet (s) did not even listen to Abu Suyaan's pleading. He then went to Abu Bakr who refused to help and Umar (ra) out right refused as well.

Prophet (s) great great great great great grand mother was a Khuza'a Tribe.
Also, Tribe of Khuza'a had a treaty with Abdul Muttalib to keep peace between the tribes for generation. Abdul Muttalib had said, our generation and your generation will abide with this treaty. Al-Fa'al: Positive sign; good omen is allowed and permissible. We do not believe in negative omen. We link all good things/signs to Allah swt (alhumdulillah). Prophet (s) saw a cloud coming so he (s) as a positive omen with Khuza'a.
Arabs were a people who had great memory, kept extensive record of their lineage, people who stick to their word and treaty.

In my seerah book it mentoins that Nabi (saw) gave them 3codition whereas he mentoined two. To pay blood money and to break the treaty but what is the third condtion ??

Episodes 76 - 81 Notes: Part 1
The Conquest of Makkah
- The Breaking of the Treaty
Initially, Makkah was controlled by the in-laws of the Prophet Ismail AS, called the Jurhum. But, over time they became less religious and eventually became morally bankrupt. This led to the Banu Khuza’ah and its allies to wrest Makkah from their control. The Banu Khuza’ah themselves were led by Amr ibn Luhay who was the individual who spread polytheism within Makkah. Over time, the Banu Khuza’ah themselves became corrupt and Qusai, the great great great grandfather of the Prophet SAW, took control of Makkah from them and thus the Quraysh were established as the leaders of Makkah. However, despite the Banu Khuza’ah being deposed, the Quraysh held a good relationship with them and Abdul Muttalib even created a treaty with them that, they will protect one another from any external enemy for as long as they exist.
At the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Quraysh and Muslims had agreed to several conditions. One of which was that, any tribe either party enters into an alliance with, also must uphold the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. After the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Banu Khuza’ah tribe had a lot of its tribesmen accept Islam and they made an alliance with the Muslims. The Banu Bakr tribe on the other hand was composed of mostly pagans and they allied themselves with the Quraysh.
The Banu Bakr and Banu Khuza’ah had a history of wars spanning decades and this had caused blood to be spilled on both sides. The coming of Islam initially put a temporal stop to these wars. But, after each side chose to ally with opposite factions after the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, the Banu Bakr wanted to get revenge on their ancient rivals. They thus asked the Quraysh for their permission to raid the Banu Khuza’ah and the Quraysh allowed them to do this and some of their elders like Suhayl ibn Amr, even provided them with weapons to do so.
Thus the Banu Bakr attacked the Banu Khuza’ah at night time and their intention was just to do a quick raid and steal some booty. But, the Banu Khuza’ah were alerted to their approach and thus a small massacre broke out. Twenty people were killed and one of whom was even killed within the domain of the Haram itself. This led the chief of the Banu Khuza’ah, to take 40 of his men to Medina where he reminded the Prophet SAW about Abdul Muttalib’s treaty and about the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. The Prophet SAW swore that he would help the Banu Khuza’ah get justice, now that the Quraysh had outright violated the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
- The Prophet SAWs Response
The Prophet SAW initially told the Quraysh that they must disown the Banu Bakr and pay blood money for those that were killed by the Banu Bakr or face war. But, the Quraysh refused this outright. Abu Sufyan realizing that the Treaty has been broken, told the Quraysh that, he himself will go to Medina and try to renegotiate. But, when he went to Medina, the Prophet SAW didn’t say a word to him. Thus he went to several senior prominent companions in order to get them to intercede on his behalf. Abu Bakr RA said firmly no to him, Umar RA mocked him for thinking that he would help him and Ali RA said firmly no to him.
Abu Sufyan then turned to Fatimah RA and Hassan RA who was only a child at the time, but he was informed that, they cannot do anything in this situation. Abu Sufyan thus asked Ali RA for his advice on what he can do and Ali RA advised him to go to the mosque and seek protection from anyone in Medina. Abu Sufyan followed Ali RA’s advice and not a single person gave him protection. In a last ditch effort Abu Sufyan, went to his daughter Umme Habiba RA, but she rejected him too. So, Abu Sufyan left Medina in complete humiliation and went back to Makkah. He informed the Quraysh of his failure to re-enact the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah.
- The Incident of Hatib Ibn Abi Balta’ah RA
Hatib RA was an Arab who converted to Islam and left Makkah to make Hijrah with the Muslims to Medina. However, Hatib’s family remained in Makkah. Hatib RA sent a letter to the Quraysh informing them that, the Prophet SAW and Muslims were coming to Makkah and that they had better prepare. Hatib RA did this by paying a lady who was departing from Medina to Makkah, to carry a letter to the Quraysh on his behalf. The lady got to the outskirts of Medina before she was stopped by Ali RA and Zubair Ibn Awwam RA, who had been sent by the Prophet SAW, after Jibreel AS had come down to inform him of the plot of Hatib RA.
Ali RA demanded that the lady give them the letter and after seeing their anger. She gave them the letter and then they took her back to Medina where she explained what had happened to the Prophet SAW. The Prophet SAW already had been told everything by Jibreel AS and thus let the lady go and summoned Hatib RA to him. Hatib RA admitted to everything and it was then that Umar RA, asked the Prophet SAW if he can execute Hatib RA for his treason.
The Prophet SAW instead asked Hatib RA why he committed treason. Hatib RA told the Prophet SAW the truth and the Prophet SAW confirmed Hatib RA had spoken the truth. But, Umar RA again asked the Prophet SAW if he can execute Hatib RA on the basis of treason. The Prophet SAW forbade this as Hatib RA had fought in the Battle of Badr and Allah SWT has forgiven those who fought in that battle, upon hearing this, Umar RA begun to cry. It was after this incident that, Surah Mumtahanah was revealed informing Muslims not to take enemies as friends.

Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.

That is because you are listening to the series without the breaks of the live audience, who had to wait years to listen to the entire series. I just started listening a few months ago, and am happy that I can listen for up to 5 hours per day, and do not need to wait for vacation breaks.
Why did Najjashi give the Valima on behalf of the Prophet (saw) when the marriage was not consummated at that time.
You are exactly right, this is a classic example of his gaps and inconsistencies in his self created story on the actual fact as recorded by real ulaamas, Completely un acceptable
