So hard to not get emotional. Watching you against the Ravens last month, for my first Pittsburgh game ever in Heinz Field, I’ll take that with me for the rest of my life. What a career, what a legend. Thank you Big Ben. Truly blessed to call you my QB1 for 18 years.

I remember when he first joined. When I heard his last name I wondered if they'd get it to fit on his jersey. I was 14-15 at the time.
I cried during the game last night. We have been so lucky to have him, and for so long. 🖤💛
i bawled too. hard especially when najee broke that run for a td and then the defense got the ball back for ben one last time. like a fairytale. it couldnt have been written up any better and what a moment to share with my kids. man were emotions raw last night and even this morning it seems so surreal

One thing that makes Ben Rothlisberger so incredible. Is the fact that because of this man we were finally able to go back to the Super Bowl. It was a long time it felt like it was never going to happen again. He changed that for Pittsburgh.

Thank you Big Ben for 18 years of realistic hope, which is amazing....never had a season where I didn't think a deep run in the playoffs and a possible Superbowl weren't at least possible. Something Steelers Nation might have taken for granted, but thank you!

I don't think that there was 1 Steelers fan in the world last night that didn't have tears in their eyes at some point in the game. Big Ben we will miss you dearly and thank you for the great memories along the way and 2 Superbowls, not to shabby Brother!!!!! If you want to go ahead and make it 3 bowls that's fine with us. Hard for not only Ben, but for fans. This is a new chapter for not only him but for everyone that roots for the black and gold. We as people live and die, starts and ends to everything. I haven’t always been behind Ben his whole career but I will always remember what he did for this great city, and wear his jersey proudly. Truly Pittsburgh is the city of champions! I was born November 2004. I got into football in 2015, the Cincinnati vs Steelers wildcard. Big ben is the only qb I've ever known, its going to be sad not seeing #7 under center. He will be missed

When I saw the leg injury at the end of the second half where it looked SO BAD almost to the point of a season or career ending injury I was crushed!!! But then I saw you come back on the field ready to play after halftime I cried like a baby & INSTANTLY KNEW that you were one of the GREATEST Steeler's QB's in HISTORY to EVER put on a Steelers Uniform PERIOD!!! Man i havent been to a steeler game in long time but i got to see Ben live back in 2006 and 2008 i think when they played Chargers in San Diego. Both sunday night games. I feel so lucky i got to watch him play. What a ride its been. Thanks Ben🙂

Ben has been my QB before I even knew what football was. I didn’t get to see his Super Bowls live, I didn’t get to see his prime, but even the not great last few years of his career I did get to see, Ben has become my favorite player of all time. I think that shows how great he has always been and how important he is to the fans and to the city. I don’t know what I’m gonna do when he’s gone and there’s someone new (hopefully Kenny Pickett) but I do know that Big Ben is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and that he is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer! I wish you luck #7 and Steelers Nation loves you 💛🐐🖤
I can remember clearly that 04 draft class. I had seen a few vids about them and where they may go. On the side I had seen one about Ben. One of the few places before the draft he did meet with the coaching staff was the Steelers, which would have been Cowher back then. Maybe intuition, maybe just some hope. But of the three QB's that were hot tickets then. I honestly had a feeling that Ben would have been the guy for the Steelers. Good lord I remember the crazy part of the Chargers going for Eli, and the Giants with Rivers. And then the trade between both. The whole time I was holding my breath about Ben still being on the charts for the Steelers pick. And then it happened. After that. And I never wish ill will on any one. But that play when Maddux went down, and they called Ben to play. And the see him do a nothing less than a legendary run. and then take it all the way to the big show the season after was just candy to a Steelers fan. More than a decade + later. Ben is a shoe in for Canton. It's been a great ride. And I for one am beyond words to have seen this legend play. JMHO.
Oh wow, going to miss Big Ben. Got his autograph a couple times at the Steelers training camp in Latrobe. It was fun to watch the guys practice, and practice against other teams.
