Hi Lori, it was so good to see you. I am so sorry about little Libby's diagnosis. I so enjoyed seeing all your beautiful stitching , but to be honest i was on pins and needles waiting to hear your news. I'd give anything if i could give you a great big hug and make it all better. Please know you and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you dearly. You are one of my very favorite floss tubers. Take care sweet lady.
Hi Lori ♡ Your fully finishes are gorgeous! And your finish is beautiful! I still love Kringles! I love my Spring Doxology ♡ My piece hangs up on the wall all the time. We didn't have a pizza shop, but we had a candy store. And every Sunday between Sunday School and church, we walked down the block and used our coins. Some had a dime, some had more (like a quarter), and we bought penny candy 🍬 We sat in the balcony at church, listened to the sermon, and ate our candy 😊 Fun memories ❤ The strength we have during difficult times always amazes me. I'm sure they are exhausted, but keep going. Thank you for sharing. I meet a lot of friends at Wegman's. Love Wegman's. I meet one for coffee, another for a snack and so on. It's nice. Love all of your projects. Take care 🙏
Oh Lori it was so good to see you again. Your family has been on my mind. I cried with you hearing about Libby. Thank goodness you are close and able to help. I can’t imagine how tired her parents are. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Your projects are beautiful and the ornaments for the grandchildren are amazing!!!❤❤❤
Thank you so much Ginger. I know it's very sad. I find it hard not to tear up when talking about Libby. Your touching words went straight to my heart. 💕
Lori, I love all of your pillows that you finished. Actually, I love all of your stitching projects. They are all beautiful. You inspire me so much! Prayers for little Libby. I'm happy that the doctors discovered what she has, so they can begin treating her as best they know how. I'm sure that God is watching over her, and your family, Lori. I will be praying for all of you. Love, Diane
So diligent and are such wonderful parents to all of their babies! I believe that God is guiding them to the study on Menkes and will lead them to a cure. I wish I could give you a big hug! My husband just told me he is praying for all of you too. You can never have too many prayers! Sending love and hugs and lifting you all up in prayer. You take care of yourself and Sal too. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
As always Lori, your stitching and projects are beautiful. I'm sure you are completely exhausted come night time, but hopefully you can get stitches in here and there to relax and unwind. My heart is breaking for your beautiful granddaughter, her parents and all of your family. I realize there are no words, but I am praying for all, for your sweet granddaughter, her parents, all of your family.
i'm so glad that you came up in my suggested feed! your projects are amazing. thank you for adding to my shopping/whish list! have a wondefully stitchy week :)
Just letting you know I stopped by for a visit with you this morning to see all the beauty - of your stitching, of your grandkids, and of your beautiful soul as you share about Libby's (and the entire family's) journey ❤❤❤
Big HUGS to you and your family. Wonderful video of your stitching. Your projects are always so well done with beautiful stitching. Hang in there sweetie and happy stitching through whatever life throws your way. Loved seeing you.
So glad to see you back love your videos and all of your stitching and those children are so special and beautiful. Don’t let those doctors get you down. There are some that absolutely have no compassion but then there are others that will do whatever needs to be done for you, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I can remember when pizza was like a dollar a slice 2 3 4 hugs and kisses to those babies and you
Oh sweet Lori, I just wish that I could give you a hug. 💜 It's so true that you never know how strong you are until you need to be. It's wonderful that you & Sal are great support for Michael & Rebecca during this time and also for James & Amy, but please remember that from time to time you both need some self care too. Thinking of the entire Scicolone family. Hugs Marie
Your beautiful family is present in my prayers. I am praying daily for your Libby. My heart truly goes out to you. I’m believing there’s hope for her healing. May God use the skills of her doctors to give her the best care. I scrolled to the end of your video for Libby news. I will go back to watch the stitching soon.
I remember how you could get a cheeseburger and a drink for 45 cents. Your granddaughter and all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hearing those words there is no cure-are so so devastating-your heartbreaks-but you put your brave face on for your child knowing you don’t have the ability to make it better for them. One of my grandson’s have 2 chronic diseases and I know each time my grandson was diagnosed-daughter and son in law would put on their brave faces and then do their crying at night or when they were alone-so he couldn’t see or hear them. Loved seeing all your stitching! I was so happy to see you back!
Continued prayers for your sweet family during this tough time! I’m so glad to hear they found a more sympathetic dr to help her hip! As always, I love your videos and look forward to your next one.
I missed you. You get so much done. We didn't have pizza when I was young as we were in a small town and didn't go to eat. I remember the first time we had pizza someone came over and made it. Hotdogs cut up on one and Hamburg on the other and green olives on it. That was in the 60's I think. Maybe late 60's. It's amazing how many pizza places there are now. Prayers for your family. I'm anxious to see how this copper thing turns out. Beautiful pictures of your grandchildren.
Hi Lori, Thank you for the wonderful stitching update. Your wips are looking so great. Sending hugs and prayers to you and your family and hugs to LIbby. 1, 3
I am so sorry to hear about your sweet grandbaby and praying for her and the entire family. Stay positive💕Hope your beautiful stitching can help you relax a bit.🙏
I’m sending you and your family prayers for strength and love for your sweet Libby. Thank you for sharing all your beautiful stitching and love for your family. I remember pizza costing about $.35. 1-2-3
Great video! I love everything you stitch! You inspire me to work on my Flea Market Flowers. I'm so sorry for your family's struggles. I will continue to pray for you all. Take care and Happy Stitching!❤🙏
Hello! First time I’ve seen you and your work. Just beautiful! I was raised in the military and honestly don’t remember eating pizza. I am probably around your age. My grandma heart hurts for your situation. I have a great niece with a debilitating heath issue. Everyone has been wrong about everything they thought negative about her and her situation.Only God knows and I am praying for you all. Fod Bless You all!
So happy to see you! I have been thinking of you and your family this week and praying for you all. I am glad that there has been a diagnosis, not the one you were hoping for I know, but hopefully some answers and now a path forward. So happy to hear Mike and Rebecca persevered and sought more help. I hope you make time for some self care even if it means being absent for awhile. Sending love and hugs to you❤
Prayers for all of your family as you go through the unknown. May the Comforter give you peace and strength for the times ahead. My heart reaches out to you through this post. I actually have a prayer book with names I pray for and I will put your family in it. Keep up the stitching to keep yourself occupied when you are not helping. XO
So glad to see your video. Your stitching is amazing. I grew up in rural Canada and don't remember the first time I had pizza. Well into my teens. I really like cottage Garden patterns 4. It is very heartbreaking what babies must endure sometimes. Stay positive. Our family was blessed for 17 years with a similar situation. There is always hope. Take care. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Prayers for Libby, for you, and for all your family. Lean on God as he will always be there to help strengthen you. I know that the stitching will help keep your hands and mind busy when life is spinning out of control. Sending prayers for healing and strength🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕💕💕💕🪡
So great to see you Lori...enjoyed everything you shared...continued prayers for you and your family...it is devastating to have an ill child...we have two children with mental illness...take a day at a time...best wishes and happy stitching ❤❤
Awe, thanks for shouting me out with the Christmas in the Village by Stoney Creek. And believe it or not but I also have the New England Sampler in my WIP rotation... I just finished the colorful orange house... Such beautiful pictures of those little faces. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. ((hugs)) See you again soon
Words cannot express my sorrow for you and your family. Hugs.❤🥰🙏 Lots of great stitching! I am afraid I can’t answer your question on food prices. My family was large and we didn’t eat out. I do remember there were gas “wars” where gas was 19 cents a gallon. 1, 2, 3, 4
Your finishes and wips are impeccable as usual. I think of your sweet granddaughter and family and send all the healing vibes your way. Day by day is all we can do. Please take care of yourself. 3 4
Lori I am soo sorry that you and your family are going through this. One day at a time!!!! Keep the positive attitude and with medicine they are always coming up with new treatments. Sending hugs❤
Thanks for another wonderful floss tube! As always your stitching is beautiful! My prayers are still with your family and will continue to be for strength and courage for your sweet family. Each day is a gift! Growing up I lived rural with only a small town by without any pizza places!! So I am a bad person to ask the price of a slice of pizza!
Hi Debi! You are not the only one that couldn't answer the pizza question - it's all fun to read. Thank you so much for the prayers. They are appreciated💕
Thanks for sharing your story. Virtual hug sweet lady. Prayers for your family, the doctors and your sweet little one. I remember $1 a slice pizza but having two brothers my mother always made homemade pizza to feed us. Eating out was only for special occasions. 1, 2, 3, 4
Thanks for the prayers Nancy. Lots of viewers have said pizza out was special. My mother-in-law made her own pizza. Don't remember her ever buying it! 💕
Hi Lori, your finishes are gorgeous. 🌟🌟🌟 and I always love seeing what you have been stitching. I don't remember pizza but I think White Castle hamburgers were a nickel. Your granddaughter is in God's hands and we have to trust his plan, but it doesn't hurt to supplement with extra prayers. 🙏🙏🙏 Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤ 4
Thinking of you! I missed your flosstube and understood your desire to be with your family. Please take care of yourself however and whenever needed bc you are so important. Keep your stitching close by too.
Oh Lori, I don’t know where to begin. I am so happy that you have your stitching to comfort you it is gorgeous ♥️♥️ First God Bless your son and daughter-in-law for walking away from the first orthopedic “doctor “ I feel like I would have slapped him. I am still praying for all of you may God continue to grant you all the strength you need. And I pray God gives the doctor in Ohio the wisdom he needs to help your beautiful Libby♥️🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
Many thoughts & prayers to you, your family, & most especially your beautiful Libby! I pray for the doctors & medical staff for their wisdom & continued skills to help Libby. I am very fortunate (I thank God on a daily basis) for 2 healthy kids (grown adults now) & my 6 beautiful healthy grandkids. As for your pizza question. I don’t really remember the cost of pizza when I was a kid. We didn’t eat out much as a kid. But, I do remember my mom making pizza. I have 2 siblings. Each time she made pizza for dinner, we took turns on which toppings she would put in the pizza. 😊
Great post, praying for your family! The cheapest I remember pizza is $1 on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Love chart # 4. I really enjoyed seeing all your beautiful creations!
Lori, I hope it’s ok to add your precious family & the medical team for Libby to our women’s prayer group. Hebrews 6:19❤️ As always, your stitching & productiveness is truly an inspiration. I grew up in a rural, waterfront area of VA & I remember when our first pizza shop opened. Pizza by the slice was $1, a fountain drink was $.50 & an order of the best fries was $1. Its still there & owned & operated by the same owner, Nino. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever eaten & when we visit it’s always on the list. Hugs to you & yours❤️
We had a pizzeria by us but you had to buy a whole pizza. I remember the corner drugstore had a soda fountain and we could get a pop for ten cents there. 1,2,3,4. Your stitching is always beautiful! You’s are in my prayers. 🙏
I really loved your update! You have such beautiful WIPs and I'm always curious about your planning too. It's wonderful you can be such a great support to your family. I couldn't help but cry on hearing the news.. my 14mth old boy is the greatest joy and miracle of my life.. children are just so special and so close to our hearts.. much love to you. Thank you for taking the time to make this video for us all 💖
Love the bee pillow you did! I am so very sorry about your precious granddaughter. I will keep her and all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs and all the love to you. 💜
Beautiful finishes. With being a bigger family (9) we never had pizza but I do remember being given a nickle to go to the corner store for a bag of candy. 1 2 4 Ohh Lori I am so sorry about your little Granddaughter. huge hugs and prayers to your family. Happy stitching Patty
Hello, Sorry to hear about Libby. I will keep her in my prayers and also your family, that God gives you all courage, peace, strength and healing. Take care 🌺
Oh Lori, I'm so sorry that this was the diagnosis for precious Libby (such adorable pictures...what a sweet smile!). The positive things here: a relatively early diagnosis so she can begin treatments to help her condition, finding the displaced hip so it can be taken care of properly, and finding an experienced surgeon who is on "team Libby", but most importantly, having a family around her who love her and will do everything they can for her as she deals with this condition. I truly think the best thing for all of you adults is to find some sort of support group...find "your people". The networking alone is so valuable for sharing information, and it will also be a place to share your grief and frustration on the bad days with people who know what you're going through. All of Libby's adults have to remember to take care of themselves (emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually) so they can best take care of Libby. We hate when our kids are hurting, and it is hell when we are helpless to do anything about it. We can only lean on God. Kids are amazing, God's love and mercy is amazing. It is so rough in these early days, but eventually a sort of pattern will develop that you will all settle into. Look for the blessings in each day, and take this terrible thing one day at a time. You will find her life is more than just this disease. Sending lots of prayers for Libby and her mom and dad, and a big hug for you because my heart was just breaking for you as you were updating us. On a lighter note, I loved seeing all of your stitching today. Your ornaments are so nice! His Eye Is On the Sparrow is a monster of a piece, but I'm glad you're sticking with it and making it work for you. I love By the Bay designs...they're so lovely. Looking for just the right one I'd feel I could stitch😊. Be well 🙏🙏🙏. 1
Oh Maureen, your words were so moving and touched my heart. Thank you for writing and putting your thoughts in such a way for us to look at the positive. I truly appreciate that. It took me a while to decide which By The Bay pattern I was going to start. Wait until you see my next one. Totally not what I thought But the Bay was about. Enjoy your September💕
Thanks for sharing your lovely work. You get so much accomplished it's impressive! I've never purchased pizza by the slices. 1. 2. 3. I'm so sorry your granddaughter is dealing with menkes. That is so unfair. Hugs to you all!
I continue to pray for Libby and your entire family. Keep the faith and know that God can do anything. Thanks for showing us your beautiful stitching. I always look forward to your videos. Take Care and it was good seeing you again. I’ve missed you.
I am new to your channel and really enjoyed seeing your lovely projects! I don't know how you manage such large pieces of fabricsI adore your Bee pillow with the ricrac!
Hi! I’m a new subscriber sent by Pam and Steph. Loving all of your video so far. You just talked about white coverage and I wanted to tell you I heard that DMC Floche white works really nice with one strand. I have it but I didn’t want to switch it out halfway thru my project so I haven’t tried it yet. I will on my next lower count project. Take care! 1 2 4 I’m not sure I grew up in orchard park and then we moved to Phoenix when I was 8. I know at school I used to eat pizza all the time I’m not sure how much it was so sorry! I’ll be 60 in January ugh not ready for that big number. I’m so sorry to hear about that difficult diagnosis for Libby. I’m so glad that they have a Dr that believes it’s worthwhile to do the surgery and give her the best care possible. Prayers!
Hi Shawn! I tried floche and remembered I wasn't a big fan of it but I can't remember why. Lol. Guess I may have to try it again. Thank you for the prayers 💕
I remember a lunch special.2 slices of pizza and a soda for 50cents. We used to go on Wednesdays . We had a half day in Catholic school for religious instruction for the public school students.,Good memories. Saying prayers for Libby❤❤1,2,3,4
Thank you for your video. Lori, sweetie, I am still praying for Libby and your whole family for God's strength and grace, for you and yours. Lovely finishes. I have so many to do, it's just not my favorite. Your WIPS are coming along really great. Please be easy, stitch to distract yourself. It helps. I'm doing it for myself now, as I'm going through a rough patch. I think I've told you before, I'm an army brat. We really didn't eat pizza until I was older. I do remember gas being .35 cents when I started driving. That was in Texas. Yikes!!!! #3. Take care and happy stitching.
Hi Christine, I hope you get through your struggle and I'll pray that you do. I remember my dad getting gas and that was about 29 cents! Lol. Stay strong💕
I was so excited to see a video posted from you! Your stitching is outstanding as always. You get so much done even when you don't have the time to stitch. My heart goes out to you for your sweet Libby. I know how much you love your sweet grands, just like I do, and we just need to hug them a little more and a little tighter. I will add your family to my prayers. I pray His loving arms surround you and hold you during this difficult time. Hugs
Thank you for sharing. You just never know what someone is going through and yes, you just need to be kind. Your stitching is beautiful and I appreciate that you are continuing with your floss tube. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Your projects are always so beautiful. I love seeing them. I didn't live in a place where you could go purchase a slice of pizza. About 10 years ago I visited New York City with my kids and went in a pizza place. It took me a moment to understand that you could purchase pizza by the slice. But, how about remembering going to the movies for 25 cents? 1. Libby and your whole family will continue to be in my prayers.
I was so surprised to see you back. I’m so sorry about Libby. The Lord really blesses people going through this kind of trials. It’s 2 am and I’ve had two surgeries sinceJuly 22nd. This puts a new perspective on having a little pity party for myself. I’m 69. I will pray for your family and the health of Libby. Could I please send you something like a gift card from a pizza shop or something else? Please let me know.
Hi Lorraine, thank you for the offer but that is not necessary. You take care of yourself and get strong. I'll pray that you heal 100%. Thank you for your kind words💕
It is SO good to see you again Lori! Sweet little precious Libby and your whole family is in my daily Rosary. Jesus and His Blessed Mother are watching over Libby. I wish I could be there to help! Hugs to you Lori♥♥♥♥
Thoughts and prayers for Libby and your family. A slice a pizza when I was a teen in the 1970s was 35cents and a whole pizza was $2.50. 1 Happy stitching.

Lots of great stitching! I am afraid I can’t answer your question on food prices. My family was large and we didn’t eat out. I do remember there were gas “wars” where gas was 19 cents a gallon. 1, 2, 3, 4
Hi Joyce, it's fun hearing what prices were back in the day! Thanks for the well wishes 💕
Prayers to you and your family ❤
Thank you so much Debbie💕

Thank you so much💕
Thanks for another wonderful floss tube!
Thanks Kathy. Love hearing what things cost in the day. Thanks for the prayers💕
Thinking of you! I missed your flosstube and understood your desire to be with your family. Please take care of yourself however and whenever needed bc you are so important. Keep your stitching close by too.
Thank you for your kind words💕
Prayers continuing for family, wisdom of doctors, and comfort that only God can provide. So very sorry.❤️🙏❤️

Oh Lori, I don’t know where to begin. I am so happy that you have your stitching to comfort you it is gorgeous ♥️♥️
First God Bless your son and daughter-in-law for walking away from the first orthopedic “doctor “ I feel like I would have slapped him.
I am still praying for all of you may God continue to grant you all the strength you need. And I pray God gives the doctor in Ohio the wisdom he needs to help your beautiful Libby♥️🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻♥️🙏🏻
Thank you so much Christina. Yes, we're very happy to have found another Ortho Dr that will work for Libby. 💕
@@OnceUponAStitch ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for sharing Jodi. Enjoyed reading about your family. Continued blessings for them💕
Great post, praying for your family! The cheapest I remember pizza is $1 on the Atlantic City boardwalk. Love chart # 4. I really enjoyed seeing all your beautiful creations!
Thanks so much💕
Lori, I hope it’s ok to add your precious family & the medical team for Libby to our women’s prayer group. Hebrews 6:19❤️
As always, your stitching & productiveness is truly an inspiration.
Yes, absolutely Susan, please add Libby to your prayer group list. Thank you so very much💕
We had a pizzeria by us but you had to buy a whole pizza. I remember the corner drugstore had a soda fountain and we could get a pop for ten cents there. 1,2,3,4. Your stitching is always beautiful! You’s are in my prayers. 🙏
Thank you so much Theresa💕

Beautiful finishes. With being a bigger family (9) we never had pizza but I do remember being given a nickle to go to the corner store for a bag of candy. 1 2 4 Ohh Lori I am so sorry about your little Granddaughter. huge hugs and prayers to your family. Happy stitching Patty
Thanks Patty for all the prayers💕
Hello, Sorry to hear about Libby. I will keep her in my prayers and also your family, that God gives you all courage, peace, strength and healing. Take care 🌺
Thank you so much Christine💕
Continuing to pray for you all.
Thank you so much Arlene💕
Thanks for sharing your lovely work. You get so much accomplished it's impressive! I've never purchased pizza by the slices. 1. 2. 3. I'm so sorry your granddaughter is dealing with menkes. That is so unfair. Hugs to you all!

Welcome Kathy. I'm glad you visited with me and liked what I was able to share. More to come. Happy stitching and enjoy your week💕
Thanks for sharing and your prayers💕
Sending lots of big hugs.
Thanks so much. I'll accept them cause they are needed💕
Prayer is powerful. So nice to see you back.
Amen💕
Your projects are beautiful. Sending prayers and positivity for Libby and you all.
Thanks so much Leann💕

So good to see your video, and the update on your grandbaby. I continue to pray for her and your family through this very difficult time.
Thanks Nancy. That means so much💕
I was so excited to see a video posted from you! Hugs
Thank you so very much Mary Lou. Your words touched my heart💕
Lori, my heart goes to you and your family.

Thank you for sharing. You just never know what someone is going through and yes, you just need to be kind. Your stitching is beautiful and I appreciate that you are continuing with your floss tube. I will continue to pray for you and your family.
Thanks so much Diane💕
Your projects are always so beautiful. I love seeing them. I didn't live in a place where you could go purchase a slice of pizza. About 10 years ago I visited New York City with my kids and went in a pizza place. It took me a moment to understand that you could purchase pizza by the slice. But, how about remembering going to the movies for 25 cents? 1. Libby and your whole family will continue to be in my prayers.
Hi Susan, I'm just learning from many viewers you can't buy pizza by the slice. That's very interesting. Thanks for the prayers. Much appreciated 💕
Keeping your family in our prayers.
Thanks so much Pat💕
Your family and your beautiful granddaughter are you in my prayers.
Thank you so much💕
It is SO good to see you again Lori! Sweet little precious Libby and your whole family is in my daily Rosary. Jesus and His Blessed Mother are watching over Libby. I wish I could be there to help! Hugs to you Lori♥♥♥♥
Thank you so much💕
Thoughts and prayers for Libby and your family. A slice a pizza when I was a teen in the 1970s was 35cents and a whole pizza was $2.50. 1 Happy stitching.
Thank you Tamra. Fun remembering what things cost.. 💕
