this was a difficult video for me to tape. I started over many, many times. I did my best in sharing my stitching and being frank with you all in the devastating journey we have been on. Menkes is a non curable genetic disease that is a copper deficiency in the body. November is National Menkes Awareness month.

Lori....IO am sooo sorry for your loss. Like. you say death is part of life and we have to accept it as best we can. It is not easy but I want you to know that. you and. your family are in my prayers for you all to feel resignation and accept God´s will. She is a little angel looking down on you all.....and I'm sure she shines like a big star in the sky that you can feel her presence and remember the good times you had with her and all those memories that you should treasure. Don't be sorry for mentioning it on your floss tube, remember we are here for you......talk to us and we will respond because we are such a close knit family!!! Be well and all my best for. My sweet Lori, do not apologize for crying. You have tried to hold it together and I believe that God has healed your baby girl and she has a new body and is with Jesus now. You are a strong woman to come on here and share your life with us. I pray that they find a cure for this disease so no other little one has to suffer. I wish I could hug you right now, but know, I am raising you up in prayer. Hugs.

Oh Lori, I am so sorry about little Libby, the Lord took her home to heaven where there is no pain, no sickness and no sadness. And I truly believe you will all be reunited with Libby someday. I just told my husband as he had been praying for Libby also and he started to cry and I was already crying with you. Our hearts go out to you all. May God wrap you in his love and bring you comfort. Libby was blessed to have all of you to love her so much and care for her. You have nothing to apologize for, we are all here for you anytime. I’m so sorry what about your granddaughter. I can imagine how hard this is for you. My cousin lost a grandson when he was 2 to an accident. He said it was so hard because he watched his daughter and her husband,plus his own heart was hurting. Thank goodness for family, for a kind Heavenly Father who hears our prayers. I just found out about this and I’m going to pray for your family right now. I wish I could hug you and bring you some comfort. I’ve watched you from day one and you have grown so much in your floss tube. Maybe this was God’s way of keeping you busy, because he knows all. Thank you so much. Thanksgiving was very difficult for our family. It is Libby's and Layla's first birthday. We visited Libby at the cemetery first and celebrated Layla at home.

Lori, I am so happy to see you here on Flosstube and as always, you have wonderful projects in your rotation. My thoughts have been with you and your family since hearing of the loss of your granddaughter. I admire you for sharing this story and the information about Menkes which most people have never heard of. I spent a lot of my career working with medically fragile children who had diseases, or syndromes that were so unusual and I often thought how little anyone knew what the families of these children go through. I pray your grand child is at peace. God bless you all.

Dear Lori… I knew when I saw you on this video, AND you were wearing black… that you and your family had suffered a loss. I am so very sorry that your little granddaughter has passed through this life into eternal rest. I have been watching you since you began these videos, and feel as if I know you like a friend ( thank you You Tube!)…and I surely feel your loss. By now, I’m sure you’ve heard all the words of sympathy and for healing… but I really hope that you and your family will be able to resume life in the best way possible, considering….
