That stitch you finding hard to work on that you started for your twin Grand daughters. Think of it as her and her sister are forever connected. That stitch makes me think of them spiritually playing and dancing together. When she gets a few years older I’m sure she will enjoy having that piece in her room. You do a lovely job stitching beautiful pieces. I wish I could stitch big pieces for my grands.
@@stitchinggrannyof18 thank you. But I think you can stitch larger pieces even though you have many grandchildren! Are they ever all over at the same time? That must be one awesome party! Enjoy the week💕
@ yes they have been here all at once. In the last year maybe two it’s getting more difficult. We now have one great grandson. M oldest grand is 25 the youngest grand is 1. 6 are adults now on their own. I stitch larger pieces that’s the problem that’s mostly what I stitch lol. I have stitched the adult ones ornaments 11-17 get 10.00 each. 10 and under we spend 30.00 or they get the cash. It’s all we can do living on SS. But that’s okay I still make them plenty of cookies lol they look forward to grandmas cookies
I love the beautiful Lavender and Lace Angel you are stitching. It is elegant and the colors are some of my favorites. It touched my heart to hear you share that you are working on it on the 23rd of each month, which was Libby's birthdate. I too don't anticipate doing any full coverage pieces, such as those done by Heaven and Earth Designs. There is so much confetti stitching in those beautiful charts that my brain would not enjoy. I guess I'm a realistic stitcher and know my limitations as well as what brings me joy. I'm looking forward to spending anther year enjoying your videos! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Oh, I would put the "E" on the bottom!
Hi Lori👋, you will rock Santa's Workshop. It is so pretty. On the Summer Qua, I agree with you, the E should be on the bottom and the R on the top. I'd like to wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a Blessed holiday with your family. Happy Stitching. ❤❤❤
Merry Christmas Lori to you and your family!! As always a lovely floss tube and so full of stitching beauty and enabling! Looking forward to your wip parade! 🎄✨✨💖
Great video ! Love the workshop and I would put the E on the bottom and the R on top on the Quaker. The one with the two girls...think of it as the two sisters always being together. I can see why it would be difficult to work if you let your thoughts slip to your deceased granddaughter while you are stitching. When that happens, think of it as her being there with you. Stay safe.

Hi Lori. Love your Flosstube. Regarding Summer Quaker Lila’s Studio has multiple corrections on her web site. I did not see that she switched out the position of the E and R but I know others have made that change.
Hi Lori! Libby's angel is coming along beautifully 😊. Laura from Stitching By the Shore is also stitching the Summer Quaker, and she too found the placement of the E and the R to feel "backwards". She switched the placement of those letters, and I think I would do the same myself. Hope to catch you at the library soon now that my Saturdays have opened up again😊. Merry Christmas!
E at the bottom just looks better. Beautiful finishes and WIPS Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year. Happy Stitching Patty
All of your stitching is beautiful. I am so impressed with how far you are with the Mirabillia Angel. I think you should have the E at the bottom of the Summer Quaker stitch. I agree that it seems right, plus if you did it the other way it might bother you. I so enjoy your videos!!!
In your Summer Quaker go to Stitching By the Shore and she changed the letters and reversed the postitions of the E and R. It bothered her that they were out of sequence.
Isn’t it amazing what our viewers catch? I love your patterns and own many of the same. You might find that if you have all three stockings stitched and you create an assembly line of steps that the finishing of the stockings is more comfortable. I run Canada Swaps…I know one of the smalls was sent, I have the picture, but it has never arrived. Luckily I stitched extra smalls just in case. Take care. 🦉🎅🏼🧑🏼🎄🎄

Hi Lori, excellent video as always. The Joan Elliott stocking is quite the undertaking as there isa ton of stitching. Can't wait to see your progress. I really enjoy Joan's designs. I would definitely change the "e" and "r" in the summer quaker. My thoughts for Santa's mittens would be something a little lighter than black. Maybe a medium grayish. Look forward to next video. Merry Christmas hope you don't tire yourself out to much.
Hi Lori, this is my first time watching your channel, I clicked because the thumbnail on your video showed a little Jack Russell dog which reminds me of my dog Wylee, his fur is completely brown on his head and his ears stand straight up so I might need to adapt that pattern to make it look more true to life for him 😂 On Summer Quaker I would switch E and R, if the letters take up the same space maybe it will be an easy swap. For your Lizzie Kate Santa I would personally keep the mittens as they are, I don't know if black would contrast enough with the present he is holding, unless you go ahead and change the colour of that too? Lovely finishes and glad I stumbled across your channel :)
Hi Lori, Regarding the Mirabillia piece with the two sweet girls. This may be in the too hard to do catagory, but perhaps you could graph out on the pattern a halo or angel wings for one of them. You could even enlist the help from someone that can add to the pattern. It's such a beautiful piece but I understand how it would be difficult to pick up and stitch on.
I am cracking up here with you trying to say your dates Lori. 😅Those kind of things just help make the video fun. I think I would switch the R and the E around. Knowing me it would drive me nuts to stitch them as charted. 😵💫 I wish you and yours a very happy and healthy holiday season and I look forward to seeing you again in 2025.
