Apex is the worst prop firm because of the trailing drawdown. She's probably getting paid to promote them

It was another prop firm last year, I think they went bust. Apex is legit tho.
She does swing trading. All Apex trades need to be closed at 4:59pm or the account gets blown.
So you CANT just trade your strategy there is a laundry list of rules on their website you must.
Be consistent, use the same strategy, use the same or similar contract size, cannot have 30% of your profit be from one trade, can’t trade news. Trailing drawdown is hard as heck.
Let’s say you have a trade open it hits $500 max equity, and you close it break even. You now have $500 less draw down.
So if you had a total drawdown of $2500 not it’s $500 because it’s based on the account equity.
Apex is hard but all prop firms have their difficulties, don’t hate the player hate the game. The game is making money. You can complain or you can stand all day on an assembly line, lots of complaining there too.
I am curious she will adapt her strategy. As she goes deep into drawdown, and doesn’t close her trades until trend is broke.
I look forward to the content. She’s smart, those affiliate rates are crazy.

Just close your position at a profit and open one once the market opens. Rinse and repeat
But it’s impossible to trade on the 4 hour time frame since you can’t hold positions overnight
Depends on the propfirm and if it CFD//Futures but some of them let you hold them over the weekend
FTMO IS THE BEST STOP THINKING
they have the swing trading account and the always pay the payout + the never had a issues
Go with funding pips, they let you do swing trading even on 5K account
Apex doesn't let you hold overnight.
Which is why they are all scams. They wouldn't make nearly as much money without the majority of their clients blowing accounts on 1-5m charts.
Hi Tori, I appreciate your channel. I think I would reconsider Top Step instead of Apex I’ve been with both Apex has some unrealistic rules with the trailing draw down that will mess your students up.
She really just sold her viewers out. Promoting service that she can’t use because of her trading style. They don’t correlate.

@@vital11122 i'v seen that a prop firm went under for doing this and they were sued, prop firms are there to take people's money, no succesful trader actually uses a prop firm

I'm pretty sure FTMO is the most well known. Love them or hate them, FTMO walked so most of the prop firms we know could run

Bro that’s Forex not futures. Futures firms were here way before FTMO. Forex is simply more marketed than futures and that’s why you said what you said even though it’s completely wrong but we understand because that must had been a breakthrough for you and that shaped your opinion.
Appreciate the honesty from this woman, trading is a goddamn hard career, been doing it now for 15 years, in that time i have bounced my weight from 200 to 450 pounds back to 200, dealt with major depression from the isolation, and made some money in the process...... most people dont know what they are in for when they go down this road. I wish all the new traders the best but please do not think this is a get rich quick scheme it is the hardest thing you will ever do.

If u can trade then u dont need a prop firm. If u cant trade then u also dont need a prop firm.
It's also a horrible way to learn because of what it does not teach with risk management.

Or if you can trade but don’t have 250k you can then successfully reap the profits of being profitable with 250 grand capital instead of your own 25k😂😂

Tori, since majority of your followers are FX traders, why not look into props for them too? Not everyone here is trading futures. Just a thought. I looked at Apex. I didn’t feel good about it. Why not top step?
Because funding firms for folks in the US in the forex asset class are DONE.
I’m on my 35 evaluation account and 6th real account , still not profitable 😭 their withdrawal rules and daily draw down isn’t really in our advantage, they are betting against us to blow the account so we can spend more
If u can trade then u don't need their money, grow your own stack.
my friend im telling you go with top step. they have their own awesome platform even topstepx and when you put that code in the promo spot. You get 19 a month for life combines until monday. They dont have any consis rules for your live account and only end of day draw down. best is they have live streams every market day. Promo code isnt mine btw it is on their site. I just want you to have an actually good firm thats not meant to fail you. They also have professionals on all the time that teach you stuff in the live

Yeah that's the whole cycle with prop firms. I've seen ppl cash out up to $80k in a year, but they're constantly doing evals and blowing up accounts.
If U want to Buy Any challenge that work on Trailing Drawdown. U need to become profitable First.
You must of just got sponsored. Prop firms are a joke. If youre a real trader you dont need a prop firm. If you dont have the capital you shouldn't trade.
So i saw in comments how people complain about prop firms and drawdowns and how you need to close your trade at a certain time, how it is for noobs and whatever.
Adapt! However i doubt Apex is the way to go, their website is a complete mess and there's no support. Discount is good but you'll know why once you paid.

You CANNOT trade your own style in the funded account. I’f you average down, or hyper scalp, you will not get paid
Apex is known for shady stuff, and she mentions them only coz she gets a big cut from any subscriptions. I would recommend doing your own research guys. Peace

Your strategy would work better on a firm like alpha capital group because they have a balance based daily drawdown, making them ideal for swing traders

Why the hell would you choose that chop shop, Apex?? And, not TopStep??? I would love to hear your explanation. Apex is nothing more than a simulation game and that is fine, but so not sell it for something it isn't and especially to newer traders. Their rules suck and only contribute to it being a shit opportunity.

Its important that people understand prop firms are a ponzi scheme. None of the accounts/challenges are live - they pay out successful traders with money from selling challenges to the 95% of failing traders. To be able to do this they have to keep selling more challenges than money they pay out. When too many traders are successful they add rules designed to make you lose your account or deny payout.
Just keep that in mind. They’re designed to make you lose the account
Yes, I say the same. Why would you want to go into business with someone whose entire business model depends on you failing. And who is to say they’re not manipulating data? You have to use their platforms. They see where your stop loss is. It only takes a penny to ruin your set up.

She does not. She trades her own funds obviously. Her strategy is almost not doable with prop firms rules (drawdawn)
The only prop firm I know of that would work with her strategy is alpha capital group because they have a balance based drawdown. But maybe she's going to stop the swing trading and go back to her 5m strategy on the prop firms
