Dialed S2 EP26 | When your suspension needs service, this is the place. Спорт
I'm stoked that Dialed is back - I was getting rusty and had to rewatch a bunch of the older vids.
You guys do a killer job of familiarizing us non-mechanics with the fine details that can make our rides better. It would be really sweet if you had a POV video of a ride you were on where you set up your suspension poorly and explained what you were feeling on the trail and how you might adjust your shock to overcome that.
Keep it up!!!
Awesome video! Love the passion behind the Fox brand. I have been a believer since 1979. I’m still as passionate today at 54 as I was when I got my first air shox for the Honda Elsinore. When kind, passionate people come together, you get companies like Fox that stands the test of time. Thank you for the products, support and pursuit of excellence! ❤️
Great episode! Loved seeing the “inner workings” of a place many of us might take for granted!
I'm servicing my suspension by myself and like it so much. This service lab is a dream job!
Their ethos stands out, their passion and empathy completely natural. I really enjoyed this video and can’t wait for the tech follow up!
so amazing to see this. I am just in awe! thanks for taking us with you! 🤙
I am so glad that you guys got to produce this video and that I got to watch it, essentially because everything that's said is so true. I can definitely attest to the fact that the guys and management are the real deal and this is not only a marketing video.
Earlier this year these guys gave me such a great birthday present in the form of a fabulous customer service that I couldn't be more grateful.
Kudos to the service center guys!.... not to Jordi of course! ... XD
Great work everybody!
I just showed this to my hair stylist and asked for the Jordi cut. Added a Euro soccer mullet to the back though to spice it up. Turned out great! Thanks Jord!
I have been talking with my biddies about this for years but Fox needs to setup a program that keeps you riding while you shock is being serviced. I imagine it would be an up charge but it seems workable enough to send me a shock to use, then I use the same box to send in mine and we repeat in reverse in two weeks or however long it takes. I realize until you had every ones preferred setup in the system it would be a total pain in the ass but it could be awesome.
All the people @ridefox are super friendly and always helpful 👍 and Jordi is always good for a laugh or two 😂🤣😂🤣
Loved to see this, I sent my shock off to the NC facility last year and it does indeed feel like you send it in to some mysterious place and it just gets sent back. They were extremely friendly on the phone though.
Looks awesome jordi nice place to get away
Super nice to see the backstage of such a big comp like FOX !
Hi Fox Team, thank you for your super interesting videos of the Dialed series .. I would like to ask if you could make a deep dive video about suspension setup. E.g. How does Low & High-speed Compression and Rebound behave? Slow-motion videos of different setups and settings could help us suspension beginners a lot because you can have a better understanding if you see for example how these settings behave on different terrains. For example, you could film the different setups (no rebound / a lot of rebound / no compression / a lot of compressions) with an example rider who has an average weight. This rider could then ride the same test route with different settings and you film this in slow motion and explain your recommendations based on the behavior of the suspension and rider.
May be a dirty word in these parts....ShockWiz is a MIRACLE....
@@systemsbroken and crazy expensive for what you get
@@talkedkestrel2703 It was only $300 some odd dollars. Well worth it for me, plus many buddies have used it as well. Threre are a number of shops that are renting them as well. Information is power.
Definitely would be heaps good to have a LSC vs HSC explained video. We're still trying to understand it all through watching vids + trial and error. We found this video to be real helpful from "The Lost Co." ruclips.net/video/D9vsOHmmmpo/видео.html
Planning on borrowing shockwiz as well from a friend! It's definitely super expensive and we've heard lots of hits / misses with it being helpful so will let you know. :)
Great valving lab!. Well done
I will love to work servicing suspension!!
How much difference do you see in enduro set ups compared to dh? Also, are enduro racers typically more or less finicky about set up compared to dh racers? Why are we seeing an increase in enduro racers using coil compared to air?
Nice programme!
I remember 97-98 ⏳when i called from Perú to Fox because needed to fix🔧🔩 my air shock and then in three moth later the shock return✈...thas was so crazy
Does fox have any plans on creating an app that the public can use to tune their own suspension? Cane Creek have one that's (ironically) called Dialed. It would ask questions and give you certain setting to change. It worked really well and made figuring out why things would make your bike do what it does.
Hi Jordy! What is your comment about the new 2021 GRIP2 being under damped according to Vorsprung? Is it true?
It’s like meeting the Wizard of Oz and seeing all the munchkins working.
I think that Munchkins is a hateful term...next thing you know someone will say something super terrible like "Tribe". (Gets folks banned from Pinkbike)
Good work guys 👍 just keep it coming...
Thanks Martyn!
Fox make the best suspension especially the fox float X2 and DHX2 I’m riding the RVS fox float X2 honestly I prefer the X2 for those big hits easy to adjust
great video, thanks
fucking love this show!
So incredibl the factory of #dialed thes goods joops of the #ridefox of the guy Jordi Cortés so services in operational in the #foxdialed thanks guy's. Saluds of chile 🇨🇱🤘😀🚵👍
Hey, can you talk about the difference between dpx2 and the dps? is it simply more volume for more oil thus better heat management? or is there more than just that?
Dear Fox, beginner question here.
Just ran across a note on the Fox website: "FOX 20wt. Gold should NEVER be used in place of Float Fluid as air chamber lubrication. "
Direct link: www.ridefox.com/fox17/help.php?m=bike&id=452
Being a proud owner of Magura TS8 (Customer Support as well as Blood type 5 Oil for air chamber are both long gone) I kind of thought if one doesn't manage to get Motorex Supergliss 68/100k, then use Fox 20wd Gold, and if not then some thick engine oil. Big mistake?
What's your position on Slik Graphics in the UK and no longer being able to produce custom Fox decals?
Now if they would only make the lock out lever (dual) with the same quality (and availability) as the rest of their shocks (in my case 34sc and EVOL Factory Float)...one season, three levers now due to the pot metal it is made of, plus availability is horrendous. $40 to fix one crappy lever (smaller top one)
That said, it was funny to see the look on the face at the LBS. I have the new S-Works Epic Evo frameset on order, the OE RockShocks is being stripped for Fox (due to lock out needs)
Do professional riders have the same as off the shelf forks an shocks that come on a stock bike?..
Why not!!
Yes!
K but what kind of camp chair is that, Jordi?
Music that's in the background at 1:20? As always, love the content.
Thanks JB! That song was 'Binary Love' by Stanley Gurvich 🤘
@@FOXFACTORY Thanks!
Really wanna work here!! =)
Wonder how many CSUs they replace. Still waiting for mine 4 weeks no news..
