Did you know that the 13th century Buddhist Mongol Empire of Hulagu Khan who ruled West of Tibet in the Middle East, rewrote the whole religious narrative of Buddhism, Christianity, and Islam to praise their lord and king Hulagu? The Tibetans in Tibet followed Kublai Khan in China, so the Tibetans in West Tibet followed the empire of Hulagu. But Hulagu's empire was Shambhala. One sect of Tibet called the Ngorpa, decided to follow Hulagu and so it converted Mustang to the Ngor School and the Ngor school is now passed over from Tibet to West Tibet and Shambhala.
