The Beyond Global's articulation is design to resemble the natural movement of a person. This may also explain why the thighs are longer and more proportioned to the lower leg. I have both kits, and love them both. Beyond Global is a revolutionary kit in HG line, the color separation is topnotch and it rivals the G40 articulations wise. The Origin however is my choice, there's a lot of things you ca do with it, almost every weapons and accessories since the HG revival fits the granddaddy GTO. I think Bandai's going to apply what they did with the Beyond Global to the upcoming kits, The Zaku 2 revive has no polycaps and only one sticker (mono eye) it also has an optional rubber-like skirt making it more posable.
For me, I prefer my beyond global over my origin. Don’t get me wrong, they’re both amazing kits, but I love when you can make something simple, yet beautiful. The beyond global went with a quality over quantity approach and hit the nail on the head. On top of that, I will take anything over a kit with poly caps. I cannot STAND poly caps, and the kit has to be amazing for me to get it if it has them. It takes so much more TLC to make the kit good and lasting, those joints fall apart so often.
Just purchased those two as a birthday gift to myself... I can't wait for those to arrive... Now I'm looking for shops that still sell the RX-78F00... also am looking for those who sell the Revive, Entry Grade, and G-40 ones since most are sold out here
The only thing I hate about the origin is the limited ankle movement, specifically, forward and back. Yes, the toes can bend, but the kit is more stable if you can plant the whole damn feet to the ground. For this matter, I prefer the beyond global grand daddy. In the end, both kits win, and my wallet loses.
idk what to choose cuz origin has a loosen beam saber when it comes to storing it or holding and origin has few loosen parts, but the in the other hand, beyond global has an issue of storing beam saber which is very hard to remove it and a bit loosen to its hand.
I'm not gonna lie but this both are sick. By the way I love beyond global more but if I think twice again origin is kinda badass too because it has many weapon and booster thing.
Both are great kits! This will really depend on your taste in design - if you want more weapons and retro design: get the origin. If you are into more modern and simplistic design: beyond global. The beyond global was interesting on the building aspect as they incorporated new way of putting parts together! Gunpla engineering as its finest!😍 Towards the end of the videoyou'll hear my personal thoughts.
wow I have both these kits in my card for my first ever gunpla buy... so this is a good vid for me (Technically I already bought the BG, but I might cancel it for the Origin depending on whats said
For me, if you wanted the origin rx-78 go for the MG version cause it comes with an effect parts. I think the beyond global is more like quality over quantity, it looks premium, feels premium and if you like a straight build beyond global is the one and its also cheaper. If you want quantity over quality go with the origin version, I had the local type(north american type) which the origin ver. kit based on, and it has some couple loose parts like the shoulder canon and the beam saber is quite loose on the backpack. I don't know if I'm the only one having that problem tho...
MG version is hands down the best grade to get for the origin! I did have the issue for the shoulder cannot being loose and I think its just the overall structure of the connecting joints..

The origin line is solid in general.
It seems beyond global join more durable.
Also you can have same detail with beyond global if you custom it with water decal soon.😊
beyond global surely have batter articulation, but if can only chose one I'm sold to that boxy retro look of origin

The origin is imo far better if you want something close to that classic look it had in the original series. Such a great kit.

Origin definately has more options than beyond global. Although Beyond global is very innovative on its parts structure and its articulation.

Still prefer the revive ver as it is very anime accurate, to much panel line on the origin and too skinny for the beyond global
