In this video we debunk and take a look into what has become a very toxic area in the Team Fortress 2 community. Targeted harrassment has been happening to TF2 content creators for some time now, and I think its time to stop. The current state of TF2 means we need to stick together more than ever and if we don't it will only harm the game even more. If you enjoyed this video, or enjoy TF2 videos in general subscribe! Ah yes the content creator feels like a bot instead of a human this is sadly the reality. Mostly people don’t think about the creator that much although the creator put alot of effort into the content but the creator also can’t avoid hatred that people will shower into how “bad” the content is.

As a daily visitor of r/tf2, people are mad because of your video titles. First you said "Bots can never be fixed" then you said "TF2 Bots fixed" which has created a misunderstanding and has created a lot of hate

My two friends had a huge dislike towards the community. They believe all recent TF2 jokes (bot crisis, localization files, Rick May’s death, etc.) are “like beggars.” They attempt to accuse those comments that they are like beggars, but they always get bad breath in return.
Listen bro, im gonna quote engie on this one, “son, this is just gonna keep happening and happening.” It’s not really r/tf2’s fault it’s just some bad people. I’ve seen great post on r/tf2 but I also see stuff like this.

I'm gonna be honest, this doesn't really hold up considering the fact that hate sent towards WAMO is upvoted into oblivion over there.
Tbh, r/tf2 isn't innocent, seriously re-watch this video, WAMO in this SAME VIDEO said they're doing nothing about the hate.
Usually,most groups and communities are destroyed or look bad because of its bad side and some people are just stupid and thought they won't have any consequences because it's only the internet.

i remember this one post on r/tf2 about how like watchmojo did a video on the most hateful gaming reddits on the internet, and they were angry that r/tf2 was number 15, and getting so pissed at it.
this point it has become an echo chamber now and it's really quite sad, as other gaming subreddits aren't this bad.

The moderation on that sub is a joke. Their rules on harassment and toxicity simply aren't enforced at all. It is a shame, really, because there are a lot of good people on that sub and there's a lot of positive conversation going on as well. I hope this video serves as a reminder to people that witch hunting and mindless hating creators is always a horrible thing. Btw, that pyro model looks amazing, mate!

Criticism for the TF2 graveyard video: I wish the video was not just the original video with you popping in every now and then to add some stuff but mostly repeating what he said (a trend in your content). A way this video could have been done better was if you mentioned the original video in the beginning but the video consisted of you talking about each youtuber’s history up to present day. that way the audience didn’t have to listen to no longer true information and then have the information corrected by you and instead have the full video be currently correct information. also wish there was more stuff to look at on screen besides gameplay and some small edits. hope you stop getting undeserved hate.

Y'know you should probably blur the names and profile pictures of the accounts in the video. Because if you wan't like harassment, the names should be blurred, because if there are fans of this channel that go "oh they are being rude about my tf2 youtuber, im gonna go harass them/be rude to them" and nobody wants that.

@Valentyn if I can make a few tips, add the skull line things usually seen on the last breath and try to fix the coat fur, some of it looks good and has fur while some places look like cardboard
@Valentyn no problem :) you did a good job, just some things are a bit broken. Also by the way, the mask’s air filters and wamo’s hands sometimes clip inside the model in some of the stills, so you might wanna touch up some of those too.

This is the honest truth on my mind, when I think of wamo, I think of someone who says what’s on his mind retaining to things around tf2. He hasn’t done anything terribly wrong seriously, people have done worse than him by a long run. I just wish freedom of speech could go not with so much hate and emotions but have in response at least some form of logic.

It's not just Reddit. I also heard Zesty Jesus got decimated when he streams live and was just harassed. I'm not sure why TF2 RUclipsrs have been getting harassed lately... it's been a real trend.
The thing about the internet is that not all members share similar viewpoints on the world. A great example is when I made a joke about the scattergun and how sometimes it does minimal damage and sometimes it does a bunch due to random spread, and some guy replied saying I was "fucking stupid" and they said something about competitive mode, which made no sense in the context of my original joke. They took a harmless joke about a game mechanic, and got all mad about it, enough that they had to comment and say the things they said. People will just be like that, making their own internet experience even worse, and worsening it for others as well. Those past few sentences have nothing to do with the rest of this, just fyi.
People will look past obvious details to believe what they want to believe, and they will create hatred and distrust just for attention and petty revenge. People will do these things, for no apparent reason, and eventually it snowballs into a mass of despair, without a foreseeable end. Tf2 content creators have it bad, with people like MaxBox and WAMO being mocked by bot creators, with the Maximillian and WAMO bots. If this would all just end, that would benefit everybody, except the whiny basement dwellers who got their feelings hurt by something someone said.
All I know is that the entire time I've watched your channel you've always been an honest person who wants the best for TF2 and the people that enjoy playing it and being part of the community. Your one of the TF2 youtubers out there that has gave me the motivation to start making my own channel and becoming a creator such as yourself. I love this game and without the people like you that give this game life would leave a different impact of TF2.

I joined the community like just right before the drama rain happened. I still can't believe this is still going on. Like before I joined i only watched videos but i did not comment. Like a dew days after I officially joined then drama occurs. This is just a bad situation with much misunderstanding and hatred. And all solutions to these toxicity don't have easy fixes most of the time. I guess just hope for the best and not say or do something that will make a huge dent in any of us. wamo is a bad person. he milks bots in his videos (the number 92% he came up with is not usable since he used all videos he made before the bots) You can see he uses the same clips over and over in his videos showing he doesnt play tf2 that much proving he does it for the money and 3k hours is nothing for a tf2 youtuber. Making his discord link teamfortress2 is just uncool. The twilight stuff was not twilights fault like wamo said which is a dumb thing for him to say when talking about HIS mistakes. Him being banned/deleted from the reddit is most likley because there was proof of the info made by the ex-staff being true. Wamo cant stop getting hated because he will not stop being a bad person. A bit of advice I can give you Is to handle these situations privately, don't make videos because there will be more of these people now that they saw that they got your attention
Its hard to handle it privately when people are making it public in the first place, after I was silenced on Reddit this is really my only way to be able to defend myself.

If they go to your directly, then yes, yes it is. But people just moaning about you because they dislike you isn't harassment. Everything else is generally just Reddit - and the internet in general. Do as we all do and thicken that skin to get used to it as a figure throwing yourself into the public eye. It comes with the territory. But by all means, kudos for looking at yourself and trying to improve!

To quote a comment on r/tf2 (how ironic), people treat TF2bers like shit while they're doing TF2 content and then wonder why they left the community to play a different game.
I thought that quite a few of this entire TF2 community was toxic. Like, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, etc. I hate that side of the community. And I want them to learn that they're wrong and/or they need to leave/take a break to realize what they've done wrong
I havent seen that part of the community, but ive seen disgusting cheaters, there are a lot of steriotypes (cant write that), like furry cheater and others, which are very common, a lot of them are on a group (steam group) of other cheaters, they just post racism, sexism, homophonia, basicly all the things you said.
A tip: if you want to mass report cheaters (idk why), go to a cheaters profile, check one of the group and see if its a cheat group, if its not/there are noone check profile comments, cheaters comment there, check the profile of someone who commented, it will probably be a cheater, then just repeat and you have a cheater rabbit hole

As someone who visits r/tf2 regularly I don’t think like this at all, but I do have some genuine criticism since you’ve been getting a lot of invalid criticism lately
1. More for future reference than anything because I do see it happen to a lot of creators at around your sub count, but if your uploading a ton of content around 1 theme regularly in the past month or so or a decent chunk is just 1 theme either take a break from it or spread it out a little more. People will be more likely to watch a video in a series if it’s spread out and not overwhelmed with content
2. Try not to address hate unless it gets super bad like with the whole r/tf2 situation, usually it will die out because they really just want your attention hoping you change. Just do what you think is right really and don’t give into the mob
This is still my opinion and you don’t have to take it if you don’t want to, it’s just a general thing I see many content creators deal with like I said earlier.

A lot of what I’ve seen has been issues with what look to be back to back contradictory videos. Never taking into consideration you can change an opinion or viewpoint based on new information
As far the meme compilation issue. People remember negatives far longer than positives. A first impression is hard to overcome if it’s negative
Reddit never showed me any posts relating to this situation in my daily feed, quite strange since I had absolutely no idea this was happening

Idk if WAMO is still being targeted by bots by trying to blame it on him still? I haven't tested it... but there are aimbot bots that have a youtube link as their name (might be WAMO's channel because an old video i saw where the bot devs targeted WAMO just because he said to stop the botting, and also interviewing them) but I haven't tried it yet

They’re not harassing, or sending threats. Somebody just said “wamo is not good” and you make a big deal. This is why you’re the community doesn’t really like you and they all think you’re a joke. “My mistakes have never hurt anyone” yeah, sure. Wamo, you’re probably a good person, you just seem very childlike and a bit stuck up. It’d be ok if you just said what was going on, and states your opinion, but you had to blow it out of proportion and become your own side in a war that doesn’t exist.

heard your name once from a big joey video, checked you out, you don't seem so bad! i feel like its not an entirely wrong statement to say that tf2 has a "band kid" type of community. similar to something like old school callmecarson, dream, etc. keep your chin up high! dealing with a fiercely loyal community will always be a double edged sword.
