Wow I feel ripped off when I go shopping at the local Japanese markets here in the US. Prices are much cheaper in Japan.. snacks and candy here (US) cost 3-4x more than Japan. And with the dollar exchange rate.. my US 1.00 is 147.00 yen

I feel ya... I used to pay $20 for a 5 lb bag of Japanese rice in Hawaii. Natto for almost $5. The list goes on... 🫠
