We have also stepped away from tv programming and focused our attention on learning and growing those self sustaining skills. This will be our first year gardening with purpose. We've planted tomatoes in the past but that's the extent of my gardening experience. I am really enjoying learning all the things!
Great video, love the encouragement. I totally agree on dedicating time to learn. I have pretty much stopped watching any TV, and most of my watch time these days is RUclips for crafting, gardening, canning, cooking, etc. I feel it really helps to do the research, see what others are doing, learn from others mistakes (that they share), etc. So helpful. Thank you for sharing your tips and thoughts!
As far as inside plants just keep in mind that they do purify the air. Very important. I used to hate having all the plants inside but I've come to appreciate the benefits of indoor plants. That said, it's a good thing my husband enjoys caring for them.
We have a slight “problem” with one little helper enjoying digging in the pots. Next year they’ll be more spread out and enjoyable. This year they’re in survival mode. 🤣 I have a lot of Mother In Laws Tongue in my pantry, because I can shut doors, but she still finds her way in all too often. 🤣

So many positive changes! I can’t wait to get out and planting this gear!
I love how you talk about turning off the TV! So important! ❤
It’s the quickest way to change your life in a positive way!

Sounds a lot like the “programming” lineup around here!

Great tips! It’s hard to start slow and just focus on a few main crops but it is best so your not overwhelmed.
Absolutely. This year I’m adding more, but I’m grateful I kept it limited last year/
Love your channel! Thank you for these great suggestions!
Thanks you for the kind words!
Good tip on knowing your purpose. Not sure that I’ve thought of which variety to plant based on how you will be using it
Seriously super important! I have a lot of fun varieties in my selections this year, but the the bulk will be for canning purposes.
Love this. Great tips!
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
